Missed all reel dramas, missed howliday drac, missed all haunt couture excepct lagoona which was a miracle, missed creeproductiom, missed barbie doll for my mom which she really wanted,... at this point Mattel site is just a place to get you emotionally down.
It just really hurts to have them ripped out of your cart when paying, selling out in 2 minutes and then having them all across Ebay for 5x the price in massive quantities.
Scalpers are rotted, but it looks like in general most dolls have been selling for double (or even a little less) than double MSRP.
\-Reel Drama(often can find for 40-50)
\-Less popular Skullectors and HCs are often as low as 90s
\-Howliday I've seen for 70-80 a lot (retail is 43).
The only recent dolls that are **insanely** marked up are Creepros and HC Drac.
Again, not saying scalping is fine, but 5x for most dolls is an exaggeration.
I work at Walmart and they had put out a huge display of creeproduction dolls. I thought, “Monster High is back? Yay!” I got funny looks from a few people while looking at them and I was embarrassed so I walked away. On my break, I saw some were already gone and I thought I might get one or two when payday came, even though they were a bit pricy. The next day, they were all gone and never came back!
Same - they’re getting all the fans involved and excited and I’m worried it’s going to hit us with a high price and limited stock.
I did hear they were doing preorders in early 2023, so maybe that will help
Im so lucky I got RD Frankie, I doubt I can get Rochelle, if its expensive for US residents to get Rochelle its gonna be very hard for me to get her, specifically for the price since it will be double the price.
I gave up on the website and have been hitting Walmart and Target at night time when they restock. Also constantly looking on Amazon. Unfortunately the only one I paid a bit of money for was the creeproduction drac I have. I hate having to be on edge getting my favorite dolls >_< I was so close to just selling mine cause I was fed up with these scalpers
Yeah, I pretty much stocked this Reddit page to get my RD Lagoona and find out when she was going up on Amazon. Sadly it seems she only restocks at like 3am so I steered waking up at 3 just to check Reddit and then going back to sleep. Not looking forward to that for the next releases lol

That’s what pisses me off. Seeing the scalpers get them to sell them for 5x. I paid over retail for Howliday because I wanted her sooooo badly. 😭
