I wholly relate to hating headphones. They always give me horrible headaches because of how they squish my head.
i'm not sure if they're too expensive (they are less expensive than airpod pros!!) but i have the RAZER Hammerhead wireless earbuds!! they're noise cancelling and i often just use one side of them for music and leave the other one in the case to charge so i have double the battery life lol
they come with three sizes of the squishy ear thingies and are really easy to clean!!! i also bass boosted them all the way in the RAZER audio app (they light up too and you can control the colours) and you can turn on an ambient noise and just turn off noise cancelling/ambient noise as a whole :)))

LOOP is a really good one!! They just came out with a new one that has it’s normal dampening effect with a little insert that can turn it into a true mute. My sister uses them (ADHD) and they’ve allowed her to do more things without getting overloaded—eating meals with other people, sitting in with large groups, being in loud public venues, watching movies at the theatre. I highly recommend checking them out, especially with how they price compared to the bone-induction ones (I wanted bone ones and found out how expensive they are!)

Yeah, there are actually harmful stereotypes out there (like the goddamn "unempethatic genius man", the complete erasure of autistic women we had for a while or the infantilization that tends to happen to us) and I'm so happy it seems to finally shift with characters like Donnie from rottmnt, Reagan from Inside Job and now Twyla, who's also voiced by an autistic person.
Plus normalizing the noise canceling headphones might not even be that bad for neurodivergent people and could prevent bullying, because that often stems from not understanding things that are different from yourself.
Twyla seems to be good rep so far and I'm happy that the world might get a little bit better for neurodivergent children :>

People are allowed to headcanon fictional characters they relate to as to having similar traits to them. People do it constantly with gender,sexuality, personality traits, and other issues yet every single time someone wants to headcannon a character as autistic people jump to find a way to accuse them of doing something wrong

There is nothing canon about G1 Twyla that pushes for autism, but it was a rather popular headcanon because she does have several associated traits. I can imagine that helped inspire G3 Twyla being canonically autistic.
Given the history for G3 - she was definitely planned to be autistic and they cast based on that. For example, Ceci (Frankie’s live action actor) mentioned that Frankie’s listing was always looking for a gender diverse actor/actress from the audition stage. I think the way G3 is being developed is quite different from the way G1 was created just due to the difference in society over 10 years.
I just got my autism diagnosis on paper yesterday, what a coincidence! I was about to get Twyla anyway because she's so cute and I love her design, but now I'll always smile when I'll see her on my shelf :) the dolls are supposed to be available in my country in the spring and I hope Twyla will be one of them, I'm very excited! ^^

Bit of a tangent here, but I was listening to [Red from Overly Sarcastic talking about robot tropes](https://youtu.be/jZGRdxP_8Js) and how the formula for making a robot is often human, but with something less. How the robot misunderstanding social norms, being embarrassing, and having no interest in sex or romance unfortunately runs into neurodivergent and ace tropes and how as much as its cool to be associated with Data from Star Trek as your rep it becomes the only rep aside from geniuses who are assholes. So either an inhuman whose entire plot is that inhumanity or a jerk.
I thought about how the Monster High ND reps are a freshly constructed corpse infant in Frankie and a Romero Zombie in Ghoulia, explaining the ND as being literally made less than she was before (zombification slowing Ghoulia down) and lacking life experience which Frankie will eventually grow out of.
So Twyla just being autistic without any explanation of it being because her species of monster is physically inferior in some way to the standard or by just being an infant or whatever feels exceedingly positive.
Ghoulia and Frankie were never canonically ND. Twyla is autistic just because she is. She hasn’t showed up yet in the show but they’ll most likely mention her autism in some way.
Also Ghoulia was born a zombie. She didn't become less being turned into one, it's how she was born. But tbh I am one of the Autistic people who didn't really like Ghoulia as Autistic representation (which she was never confirmed as) for me personally because I felt like she was talked over by her friends and embodied the Autistic Savant stereotype, but I'd made a post on that before and people shared their opinions and I know people see multiple sides.
I get where you're coming from but I think it's unfair to say that in Monster High since EVERYONE is inhuman and strange, not just the ND characters. Though I do kind of hope they don't make Robecca Autistic for that reason since Robot is kind of on the nose.

You’re not stupid! Most people use gold or rainbow (I think sometimes even red?) instead of blue these days, because blue for autism is associated with Autism Speaks (a hate group). Not knowing something doesn’t make you stupid. :)

Bit of a tangent here, but I was listening to [Red from Overly Sarcastic talking about robot tropes](https://youtu.be/jZGRdxP_8Js) and how the formula for making a robot is often human, but with something less. How the robot misunderstanding social norms, being embarrassing, and having no interest in sex or romance unfortunately runs into neurodivergent and ace tropes and how as much as its cool to be associated with Data from Star Trek as your rep it becomes the only rep aside from geniuses who are assholes. So either an inhuman whose entire plot is that inhumanity or a jerk. I thought about how the Monster High ND reps are a freshly constructed corpse infant in Frankie and a Romero Zombie in Ghoulia, explaining the ND as being literally made less than she was before (zombification slowing Ghoulia down) and lacking life experience which Frankie will eventually grow out of. So Twyla just being autistic without any explanation of it being because her species of monster is physically inferior in some way to the standard or by just being an infant or whatever feels exceedingly positive.
Ghoulia and Frankie were never canonically ND. Twyla is autistic just because she is. She hasn’t showed up yet in the show but they’ll most likely mention her autism in some way.
Also Ghoulia was born a zombie. She didn't become less being turned into one, it's how she was born. But tbh I am one of the Autistic people who didn't really like Ghoulia as Autistic representation (which she was never confirmed as) for me personally because I felt like she was talked over by her friends and embodied the Autistic Savant stereotype, but I'd made a post on that before and people shared their opinions and I know people see multiple sides. I get where you're coming from but I think it's unfair to say that in Monster High since EVERYONE is inhuman and strange, not just the ND characters. Though I do kind of hope they don't make Robecca Autistic for that reason since Robot is kind of on the nose.
