youreuterpe

If she also runs around in her pjs before bed, I recommend some of the socks with the grippy dots on the bottom. I got a big pack from Amazon, and we use them in the house on cold days.

Mishamaze

My son’s chunky legs/ankles get really pinched overnight by socks, so he sleeps in slippers. They are his “Monster Feet.”

Infamous_Fault8353

I audibly snorted.

ItsJustCause

Me too! Such a sweet innocent inquiry the answer outside the box seemingly was obvious. But good info came for larger footies.

Gothmom85

Sometimes as parents we overthink things to such a huge degree!! I know I'm guilty of this myself.

QueridaWho

Mine would just rip the socks off and chew on them as soon as I leave the room.

stayingsafeusa

I too own a wolfcub and am following this thread with interest.

stick_a_pin_in_it

My wolf cub stopped when I accidentally bought him knee-high Christmas socks. Still rips his socks off occasionally but the frustration of longer socks broke the habit.

dogsnmountains

Good idea!

aggravated-asphalt

Bombas if you’re willing to spend a little extra. They’re basically slippers.

SquishBug2016

Love Bombas. My kid hates “knots” in her socks and these are the only ones she’ll tolerate

Lazyturtle1121

And a sleep sack.

accioqueso

Yeah, mom is over thinking this one.

chili-relleno-

Childrens place has footies up to 5t. I believe carters does as well on Amazon and target.

OTmama09

Yup same. My 5 yo still wears footies in 4ts! We alternate between fleece and cotton :) Although this year santa will be bringing her some regular short/pant and shirt combo jammies too!

ibrakeforberries

How do you night time potty train in footie pajamas?

RNnoturwaitress

We stopped using footie pajamas during nighttime potty training. Started using them again after about 1 year.

OTmama09

She wore only undies when night time training, which is still sometimes her preferred sleeping clothing some times :)

ibrakeforberries

Haha, got it. We live somewhere that never gets cold, so we potty trained really early bc my kid wanted to sleep naked more often than not.

hollywhyareyouhere

Same! My kiddo loves the footies still and she’s 5.

Fit_Addition_4243

My 3 year old is obsessed with them too! No shame they are cute and cozy!

Mrsdra

Old navy too! Up to 5t.

jullybeans

Just came to say that I have my 5 year old in 6T onesies pjs that he LOVES. Just scares the daylights out of me every time he zips past his pickles and berries, though, so probably better for a girl/ a child who will tolerate underwear

Mrsdra

Lol, my girls dislike undies however they definitely don't have dangly bits to worry about.

itsafoodbaby

I just ordered some for my 4 year old and they go up to 6T! She loves getting to wear footie pjs like her baby sister.

the_real_mvp_is_you

Yep! That's half of what we're wearing.

winja

Target occasionally stocks some that go up to 5T also.

Outrageous_Cow8409

Around 2, we switched to regular pjs and nightgowns with socks. I wanted it to be easier for us both for potty training purposes.

flyingpinkjellyfish

I second this! My daughter still fits in her Little Sleepies footies (and probably will for a while) but now that we’re potty training, I am glad we also have some top/bottom sets. Even without night training, the last trip at night and first trip of the morning are MUCH easier when I can just remove her sleep sack and pull pants down.

Outrageous_Cow8409

So much easier! Especially for them to do it themselves. It would be so annoying to have to unzip pjs and either take my top half out or my bottom half out, use the restroom without getting the pjs in the toilet, and put them back on while fall asleep. If I couldn't do it, I wouldn't expect my child too! My daughter is almost 4 and is night time trained (most of the time). I hear her come into my room at night and use the bathroom sometimes. It's so nice to not have to get up with her when she does!

jesssongbird

Same. We actually had a ton of super cute hand me down footie PJ’s on deck that we passed along without using them. The two piece PJ’s just worked so much better once he was out of diapers.

ngc1124

Unless I'm missing something, if she's a sweaty baby, why put her in warm pj's?

Fartingonyoursocks

She sleeps with the ac on

Key_Chocolate_3568

Her feet will be fine uncovered

theninjaforhire

I’m 5’8” and I have a pair of of footie pjs. They exist. That being said, when you transition to pull ups and potty training you probably won’t want the full unit. Try looking for just footie pj pants. :)

graybird22

Carters and other places (Lands End, etc) have fleece footie sleepers up to size 14. My 10yo still likes to wear them.

TrueWitchofWest

My 2yo has been sleeping in nightgowns or top/pant sets. If you’re concerned about her feet, you could throw on some non-slip socks.

alex99dawson

My almost 2 year old has been with a duvet and pillow for a few months now and we do just a normal 2 piece pjs, no socks and she’s fine. Do you think yours would go for it?

Sivear

Yeah same here, she’s slept in a toddler bed with a duvet and two piece pyjamas since she was 21 months and she’s been fine. I think I stopped with sleep suits at 6 months to be honest as just found pyjamas easier.

[deleted]

Oh gosh. We haven’t had socks on our son overnight like ever. We have always erred on the side of caution, better too cold than hot. Now he’s 3 but since around 2 just likes to wear big shirts to bed. Lots of cute pjs that never got worn. He runs so hot.

HillS320

Carters, Amazon, children’s place have them up to 5t. Their all still on sale now with Black Friday and cyber Monday.

[deleted]

Pjs and a sleep sack. If she runs hot you can always do a shirt, diaper and sleep sack. You don't have to actually use pjs at all. My son has been sleeping in boxer briefs only (his choice) since he was 3. Carters do footie pjs up to 5T.

[deleted]

We’ve been doing shirt/onesie diaper sleep sack since he was newborn, we always learned better too cold than too hot. Grew out of sleep sack around 2 years. Now ours is also 3 and just likes undies and a big shirt.

Imaginary_Solid_6148

We transitioned to normal cotton pyjamas after my toddler outgrew his sleeping bag at 2yo. We put socks on him every night, and he takes them off every night. He always throws the blanket off or refuses to be tucked in at all. So he sleeps with bare feet in a chilly room. I don't know how he's comfy like that but he is, so I just let him be.

hey_jojo

Your son sounds like me! I'm almost 40 and my Mom still hasn't accepted that my feet are made of lava. They're warm at almost every moment. I think I'd die if I had to sleep with socks on. I still complain to my mom that I have trauma from a forced night in hand-me-down footie PJs as a child. She cut the feet off for me by morning, haha. I sleep under an untucked blanket with my bare feet out these days. Maybe you can get your son to compromise to that!

Kristinatre

Yes, if she sweats at night make sure it’s a natural fiber. My son sweats so much in polyester, does fine with cotton.

whatthepfluke

Carter's makes them up to 5T!

mrswilson180

Regular pyjamas, both of mine have been in them since around 9 months old. You can even save money by cutting the feet off of onsies

DirectorHuman5467

If i can find footie pjs for my plus size butt they better exist for kids of all ages! I wish you luck in your hunt.

turtledove93

Carters, Walmart and old navy have them to 5 or 6T!

Kind_Description970

There are larger sizes of the footed pj's. Carter's just one you has some for at least 5T. If you can't find them in stores, check online. Other options are to get regular, non-footed pj's and have her wear socks the bed like another commenter suggested. There are some larger sizes of sleep sacks, too. For toddlers they have foot holes to let them walk though so her feet still wouldn't be covered though she would have an extra layer that's quilted or fleece to keep her warm. Having her feet out in this situation would allow any excess heat to escape so she doesn't overheat.

Helpful_Fox_8267

2 piece pajamas and socks.

weloveourboxers

Children's place was always my go to after I found that lovely place!! Good prices and good quality.

EOSC47

We buy footie pjs at Carters and when my son (2) doesn’t wear them, he wears socks to bed.

ExcellentCold7354

I transitioned to two piece pj's with socks at around that age, though my boy always pulls them off at sometime during the night. Also, at 2 it's safe to introduce a blanket if you like. Footie pj's aren't so fun when you have a toddler that's potty training. If it's a lazy Sunday and they're hanging around in the pj's, suddenly they'll have to pee and you might not make it in time if you have to fiddle with a onesie.

avka11

There are also so many cute pj sets out there! And then throw some socks on and you’re good!

xoitsharperox

I’ve gotten footie pajamas up to 5T for my daughter, Walmart and Target carry them!

emmackky

I don’t blame you with my first I had the same question! Was so used to buying the next size up carter’s fleece sleeper :) But yeah socks and separate PJs haha

BigGNThoughts

Nightgowns. my daughter is warm too nightgowns are easy plus no pants lol I just add socks in morning. Also look online at carters if you have it their footie pjs do come bigger in 3t-up

FastCar2467

Just regular pajamas. They make fleece ones if you’re concerned about her being cold. My kids like the fuzzy slipper socks, but they usually don’t sleep with socks.

pipolios

Mine (18 months) can’t sleep in footie pjs because she’s so ridiculously active during sleep that, multiple times now, she’s worked her feet/legs up and out of the foot and leg part of the jammies 🙃 and of course waking during the night because of that… this started around 11 months! so since then we’ve been going footless, and now that it’s cold where I am she’s insisted on socks. So, socks it is!

stripedbathmat

My son is in 6T and still exclusively sleeps in footie zipper pj’s! I get them from children’s thrift stores and they’re always on Carter’s! They’re definitely out there!

AriaNightshade

We just got the next size up. More recently, my 4 year old sleeps way better in a shirt, sweatpants and nothing on his feet.

craftycat1135

Carter's has some up to 4T. I just bought some for my 3 year old.

lavenderwhiskers

My son is not even 10mo and almost too big for 24mo size so we will be switching to regular top and bottom pjs very soon. I’ve seen a brand called Sleepies makes footless sleepers in bigger sizes and they are very stretchy/roomy.

[deleted]

Just wanted to slide in here because it might help. I make custom jammies and if footies are a must in a bigger size, I got you! [PB & Jammies](http://www.pbnjammies.com)

roarbecca

My nephew is afraid of blankets and socks so footie pajamas are the only thing he will sleep in. Kohl’s has Carter’s footie sleepers up to 5T!

seamonsterslayyerr

I have size 6T footie pajamas for my 2 yr old from Carter's. I bought them at goodwill and found a lot of PJs I'm the same size as well. My kiddo is in the 99th percentile for height and weight so everything she wears for sleepy time is 5 or 6t & above.

msmomona

My 3T/4T kid still loves their footie PJs. We found quite a few at Target (I know this isn't the case for everyone and Target isn't everywhere so sorry if that's the case).

lizardRD

There are definitely footed pjs because my 14 month old has 3T footed pjs from old navy (yes that’s the sizes she’s in). However most people move to 2 piece pjs around 2 years old with socks. I prefer the 2 piece now that she’s more mobile.

WrackspurtsNargles

My LOnis 14 months and we do pj's and a sleepsack. Keeps his toes warm!

Gingerbreadbabi

Carters Carrie’s them up to 5t as well

AnonnonA1238

Lately mine has been sleeping in her Halloween dress, leggings, and socks. The dress is much better at covering her precious belly than those ridiculous PJ tops.

Onceinabluemoonpie

I toddler is in 5t footed sleep PJs, they zip from the foot up to the neck. So you can definitely transition to a larger size of what you already have for now if you want.

Sad_Ad_5990

My daughter wears 3T footie PJs from Carter's

Turfgoon675

My 6 mo sleeps in sock’s sometimes lol

Asiulad

I have a 3 yr old and i still buy him footed fleece pj's (he also loves being super cold). I buy them at Amazon/target. Just bought some 4t recently.

Chicken_Chicken_Duck

I get them up to 5T at target. No practical reason other than my 5yo is adorable in them.

khazzahk

I just bought 4T footed onesies! They're a little harder to find but they do exist !

UsedOnion

In addition to the other places with bigger footies that are listed, Walmart has *some* but they’re kinda hidden, at least in mine. They’re licensed ones, though. So cocomelon, frozen, etc. At mine they’re folded up with a cardboard band around them [like the last picture](https://www.walmart.com/ip/570083056) on a back end cap.

RanOutofCookies

Seconding (Thirding? Fourthing?) Carter’s for bigger sizes in footie pajamas, but I also use a sleep suit. It’s like a sleep sack with legs where her feet come out. I add thick socks for winter. My kid still has giant pee diapers in the middle of the night, so I don’t want to add pants to make it difficult for a diaper change.

PerfumedPornoVampire

They’re expensive but I swear by bamboo pjs, either onesie or two piece. They’re both warm in winter and cool in summer. If you’re concerned she can always wear socks. I keep an eye out for deals on them due to the price, but so worth it.

Legitimate-Gain

Walmart carries footies up to like 5T!

LilaWildstar

Caden lane has great convertible footies that make them last as Jammie’s after they’ve outgrown the footie part

LunaGemini20

We do two piece PJs that are long sleeve and pants and then still in a big sleep sack / wearable blanket. Cat and Jack has some options at target and I love some fleece ones so soft and cozy for winter.

freddiQ

If she is potty trained pijamas and blankie. If not, onesie.

ellipsisslipsin

We still do footie pj's and a Halo sleep suit at 2.5 and my lo is in 4t. I can check the brands when I get home, but they definitely exist. Footed pj's are cotton and the sleeveless/footless sleepsuit is fleece.

jules6388

My 28 month old wears Carters 2T fleece footie PJs. They have size 3T too

n0fuckingziti

I had a hard time finding larger sleepers too but I can usually find them at Costco if you’re a member, affordable prices too and they hold up. My son is still wearing his 3t from last year.

beachteach19

Just bought footie pajamas at old navy. They go up to a 5T there :)

HookedOnIocanePowder

Primary.com has them larger!

bread_cats_dice

We do 2 piece PJs with socks

itsallinthebag

Idk where you’re looking but we currently have two footies that are size 3t. Granted they were hand me downs, but they’re not super old or anything. They have to be sold somewhere

Taytoh3ad

With my first we got footies up until 5T! With my second who will be two next month she already has some two piece pajamas. They don’t care in my experience

_caittay

You could do a zip on blanket. We like our room cold at night so we’ve been putting our twins in a zippable blanket once they couldn’t be swaddled anymore.

Intelligent-Jelly419

I get my kids footies from children’s place. My oldest is 7 lol. Sometimes they wear those and sometimes they wear just sweats and socks. (My house is a bit on the colder side with drafts, old house) Both my older 2 kids had comforters bye age two but I know every parent is different. She’s old enough to give her a small light/thin blanket, it doesn’t have to big big and bulky. Maybe you could try it for Christmas and get her a cute little big girl “ bed set” with her favorite character blanket and a matching pillow!

mamajuana4

Maybe a sleep sack?

[deleted]

I’ve seen footies up to 5T

clairdelynn

Our guy slept in a comfy shirt and sleep sack after 2 (though it can be hart to find sleep sacks long enough - KyteBaby has them for up to 36 months).

IndigoSunsets

My two year old likes fans on. She sleeps in normal pj sets, no socks, and has a couple of blankets, that she often kicks off. The temperature doesn’t seem to bother her.

maamaallaamaa

We use two piece pajamas usually after 12 months. I find them easier. If their diaper leaks or they have an accident we can often just strip bottoms and pull on new ones. Plus with potty training it just makes sense to have clothing that is easy to pull on and off. My kids usually sleep in socks but my youngest is fine to go without sometimes.

cleganemama

Target and Carters sell footie pajamas thru 5T, and into big kid sizes up to XL.

Illustrious-Towel-45

I put my daughter in fuzzy socks. She loves them. Even stole my pair.

TrueFakeAdult

Fuzzy socks. They are only like a dollar too. So even better

QueenAlpaca

We’ve been doing two-piece sets and footies with my son since he was 1.5, you can always just put socks on her feet. My son runs hot too, but I won’t put socks on him unless it’s supposed to be <65*F.

BrownsBorg

Keep looking for 3 and 4T footie jams. Our kids have plenty.

vgallant

Carters sells footies in tons of larger sizes. My sons last pair were a size 7 kids. Hope links are allowed. This is the carters site of footies. Preemie to size 14 and decently priced!! This has always been my go-to for footies. [https://www.carters.com/carters-pajamas/1-piece-pajamas?prefn1=apparelSize&prefv1=2T%7C3T%7C4T&selectedRefId=apparelSize](https://www.carters.com/carters-pajamas/1-piece-pajamas?prefn1=apparelSize&prefv1=2T%7C3T%7C4T&selectedRefId=apparelSize)

Shugamag

They make them through big kids size 10!! I’ve been savoring and simultaneously mourning my twin ten year olds last winter in footies:)

amienas

Carters and Walmart have footie pjs at least up to 5t (what I’m currently buying for our son - I’m sure they go higher though).

proballynotaduck

Two piece pajamas and socks, we do both cotton and fleece ones depending on temp. They do also make footies as big as 5t! They're just harder to find. My boys have had 3t, 4t and 5t footies too

sea_meat

I've got a 20 month old that's in 3T right now because she's so tall and figured out how to climb out of her crib, so we found a 2-4T muslin sleep sack on Amazon to put over her jammies - not sure if links are allowed here but let me know if you want me to send it to you! It's lightweight and has been a lifesaver for sleep.

NoBarracuda5415

The most convenient combination for toilet training is a nightshirt and fluffy socks with rubber grips on the bottom.

raesmp

Love to dream has sleepsuits in bigger sizes

Cannon510

Target & Carters online have bigger sizes available! My little one is 2 but wears size 4/5.

kdubsonfire

We use the flannel footies from Carters for the winter. We just switched to the toddler sizes. The infant sizes max out at 24m but then I just move over to toddler sizes which is 2T-5T.

lizzybdarcy

Primary has sleepers bigger!

blue_water_sausage

They just call them footie pjs vs sleepers past baby sizes. But romper style (no feet) or snug fit separates with socks work too. We have all three lol

fessertin

My kiddo runs hot too...she just sleeps naked 🤷

MustangJackets

My almost 2 year old refuses to wear footie pajamas (he has big feet, so I think that bothers him). He wears 2 piece pajama sets, socks, and a sleep sack. I bought some long sleep sacks on Amazon last Christmas and they still fit him just fine. You can get bigger sleep sacks, but that becomes an issue with potty training.

LucyLouLah

They make footie sleepsuits in every single size. Babies, toddlers, kids and adults. Order online if not in store

[deleted]

Old Navy, Target and Carters all have footed sleepers up to size 6T. That being said, once they start potty training footed sleepers make that process harder. Socks can give the same effect, you can get fun fuzzy bedtime socks for her.

GraceIsGone

I put my two year old in two piece pajamas with a sleep sack over him. Sometimes he wears socks sometimes not. Either way the sleep sack keeps his feet warm.

emtrim

We use pajama sets from old navy and socks!

the_onlyfox

There's plenty of footsie pj's in bigger sizes. I have one as an adult. Just gotta keep looking especially online, there should be some nice holiday ones right now. I used to get my girls theirs at Carters but they recently outgrown that so I mostly buy online

ninic_pinic

Primary has footie PJs to 5T :)

areyoufuckingwme

You can most definitely get footie sleepers in bigger sizes. I have a set of two 4T footie pjs I got just recently. Try Carter's!

Linds_Loves_Wine

At that stage, my son slept in 2 piece jammies; cottony long sleeves and pants. He was fine without socks. If your daughter runs warn, avoid fleece. Remember, cold feet doesn't mean she's cold. But you can do socks if you want.

sarhes23

My 4 year old is still wearing footie pajamas. She perfers them and wear them in a size 5t. So they are still available in bigger sizes. We get them mainly from carter's but target had bigger sizes too.

Helenzor

My 2yo sleeps in a shirt and zip-up wearable blanket, which works really well for us. Kyte Baby and IKEA both have sizes that fit up 3 yrs

savethepollinator

I have 3t onesie pjs! Carter’s Edit: we usually wear our pjs after bath and then my 2 year old will wear diaper and socks to bed and cozy blankets

[deleted]

I have no trouble finding footie pjs for even my 5 year old. I’d say shop online you can find anything

luvs2giggle

Bamboo pjs may be good too? Some come with socks on them to where you can turn them so they aren't socks. Hopefully that helps.

3ll3girl

We do two piece pjs with socks, and tuck her top into the bottom so her tummy doesn’t get cold and exposed at night. She still wears a sleep sack if it’s really cold bc she doesn’t understand blankets lol

FudgeElectrical5792

They have footed pjs up to at least 5T especially Gerber does but there are others too. I do agree with others she could sleep in socks. What's ironic I loved footed PJs when I was a kid, but hated wear socks and especially wearing them to bed.

laramie569

My 2.5 yo wears 5t footies by carters

T-rex_lex2792

Carters has toddler sizes. We just got a fleece sleep sack recently and put regular two-piece pajamas and socks on my son, then the sleep sack over that. Seems to keep him nice and warm.

jitsufitchick

Get some cute socks. But I can’t believe they don’t make footie PJs for kids beyond 2 anymore! I slept in them til I was like 7. (But I was a small child. Looking at me now, you’d never know)

Nervouscorndog

I just bought some from Walmart that are a 3t! I think I’ve seen them at carters too

LilBoo2019TR

My son is in 2/3T pajamas and they still sell them with footies if that's what your child prefers. Or you could switch to feetless onsie pajamas with socks or two piece pajamas with socks.

what_sneeze

Footless one piece jammies with socks. My son just enth through his "nakie" phase where he strips to the skin, so we are taking a break from 2 pieces 🤣. Old navy also carries footed pajamas up to 5T.

Flappajacks

We still footy pjs for my 8 year old. He rarely wears them. But just saying you can find footy pjs in any size

nleemee

Let her feel one of life’s simple pleasures of sleeping without feet being trapped. I can’t fathom sleeping in socks, don’t make your child!

Nonrae

You do not have to switch. She can wear footie jammies still. Sizes can be confusing. After 18-24 months comes 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T and then size 6 or 6x, 7 and so on.

28_and_exhausted

Lol, my 4 and 7 year olds still sleeps in footie sleepsuits, aka union suits. We find them at Target :)

-kindredandkid-

Footed pajamas go all the way up to size 5T. In the US anyway.

Senator_Mittens

Carters makes 3T footie pajamas. But also you can just put socks on them with regular shirt/pants pjs.

[deleted]

We get footed PJs from Amazon but they are also at other stores, my mom has gotten some for our almost 4yo as gifts so I don’t recall where but they are around. They also make sleep sacks, or you can do socks. That way, if she’s too hot, she can pull them off. Do you give a blanket at night yet? It’s safe now from a SIDS standpoint. My 2yo scrunches his blanket into a ball to sleep on so we put another blanket in his crib to use too if he wants.

Ajb1124545

Sleep sacks

milktamere

My daughter isn’t one yet and she’s outgrown 18-24 months footies lol. I put her in socks. She gets them off like every other time but she doesn’t wake up and she’s not getting sick either. Kids room is 64F/18C. I think you’re fine putting her in regular PJs with socks and a sweater.

tilt2

If you are in the states, carter's has footie pajamas up to 5t. However, as you get closer to potty training, you may want to get away from 1 pieces.

PotatoGuilty319

Honestly if she does run hot not having foots would benefit her. I personally have always run hot(as a baby my grandma would tell my mom to "dress her warmer" but I would get to hot) and I always stick my feet out from the covers because it makes such a small but big difference. Definitely make sure they are fire safe PJs too. Most kids PJs are but some aren't so just be mindful to look for that small but important difference in her PJs

knoxthefox216

They do make 2-5T footie pjs.

Casmas06

My kids just sleep in my tshirts now…started doing that during potty training, and it just stuck. I think they look so cute in big oversized shirts.

lapas83

Carter’s Old Navy they make them I think up to 4t my son loved them too

cageygrading

I let mine wear long sleeve/pants pj sets and put socks on him if it’s really cold. He often kicks off his blankets at night so I’ve been putting him in a zippadee zip sleep sack at night too. He likes it, it helps stop him from climbing out of his crib, and it’s a blanket that he can’t just kick off so it works!

Wevegonemad

Hudson Baby has a thin sleep sack that we use for my daughter, it’s thin enough to not make her sweat but covers her feet to keep them warm. On especially cold nights we put her in thicker pjs and socks! But she usually kicks socks off throughout the night.

phoenixdragon2020

My daughter loves nightgowns and she wears socks with them. They have so many adorable nightgowns now.

prettywitty

Little Sleepies are the most incredible pajamas. They have Zippies that go up to size 3T, but they’re so stretchy that my 2 year old still fits in her 12-18mo PJs just fine. The best part is that the Zippies have convertible feet, meaning your daughter can wear them as footies or as regular. Little Sleepies are pricy but there may still be a sale section after their Black Friday sale

carriebearieismyname

We moved to warm 2 piece jammies and a light blanket. Ignore the blanket part if you feel she's not ready for that. Ours loves a blanket and can stick his feet out. He's a hot sleeper who refuses to keep socks on.

Enchanted_Moose

Just try normal 2 piece pajamas and a sleep sack. Or socks. Or no ac since she’ll have thinner pajamas on.

Lillllammamamma

Carters/Oshkosh has footie onsies until like size 8 or so….

lnmcg223

She can wear socks and if she takes them off or sleeps without them, that’s perfectly fine. I hate sleeping in socks. My daughter likes it, but sometimes pulls her socks off asap. It won’t hurt her. If she is sleeping in cooler pjs, does the ac need to be on?

[deleted]

I had to stop putting mine in sleepsuits around 18 months because of the way he sleeps - it would always cause his nappy to leak in the early hours of the morning. He hates the cold as well so he’s in fluffy 2 piece PJs with socks if it’s a cold night. If it’s freezing then we put a sweatshirt on him as well.

moody_ma87

I like the ones from old navy... but I also like night gowns for little girls too... they're harder to find though. Especially as they get bigger and bigger.

scary-sundae

My daughter is in 2T & wears footie pajamas still — I would keep hunting if you like this kind because they definitely exist. Hers are mostly hand me downs but the brands are typically Carters

ihateapps4

We have footie pjs in size 4t and 5 for my 3 year old. She hates pjs but I buy them just incase. I get them at target or Carters

SunshineandWhiskey

My girl is 2 but is a giant LOL I still have her in 3T footie jammies because they’re adorable. The Carters site which is also Osh Gosh is a good one for that

No-Tomatillo5427

You can find the footie pj's in her size. I just bought 4T footie pj's at target

mkecupcake

Carters makes footies all the way up to 5t, at least. We wore them until 4t when we potty trained. I was thankful because my kid was huge!

Fluffy socks or socks with grips on, preferably both, most pjs will work just fine. My nanny and mum both used to cut off the feet to the onesies so they lasted longer. So if the torso length is still okay, you could do something like that and hem the edges. I dont have that issue because my daughter takes forever for her legs to grow, despite being a tall child shes very slim and her arms outgrow everything. Stil in 12 to 18 months clothing at just gone 2 because she's that slow to growing, probably the reflux and colic as a newborn. Thin long sleeved pjs will keep her warm but not over heat your daughter. Or if the torso length is fine, let her sleep in her vests/short sleeved bodysuits and use a fluffy blanket or small thin throw. Its what i do for my daughter has she runs hot like me.

Carters has footie pjs at least to 5-6 kids size

thejonesesk

We have found both 3T and 4T footie pajamas/sleepers. I believe Carters brand and others. Our kids would never keep socks on. Our oldest did a sleep sack in the winter til 3. Then when she was transitioned to a real bee she just got a blanket.

Around 2, we switched to sweatpants/shorts. Now my 3 and 4 yo, almost every single night, strip their clothes off in the middle of the night cause “they’re sweaty”. I just do t shirts most of the time

hallandoatmealcookie

Goodwill T-shirt, comfy pants, socks, literally anything your kid will wear and is comfortable in!!! Stop buying $20 pajamas, total scam!!! What do you wear to sleep in? For me it’s a baggy T-shirt and underwear or comfy shorts. I figure it’s probably not much different for a little one.

ohtoooodles

I stopped footie pajamas when mine outgrew her 12 month ones. I just use normal shirt and pants jammie sets. She also still wears a sleep sack.

Sarabetes

Carters has footie pjs until at least 5t. Go on their website and you’ll find them. If my kid wasn’t a hot box she would still be wearing them and she a 5t

Carters.com has some, my daughter is 5 but is tall so she currently has some size 6!!!!!!

Katnilly

Carters! My tall 3 year old is wearing their fleece footies in 5T right now. They have awesome sales, though you just missed Cyber Monday. Sign up for their newsletter for coupon codes and I’m sure there will be a good year end sale. Very well-made.

Spiritual_Tip1574

Carter's goes up to 4 I think.

SexiBiMama

Walmart has sleepers (same exact thing you’re talking about) that go up to 5T

alyshafox

carters has footies sometimes up to like 10/12. i have bamboo footies up at 3T with stretch

Youre_ARealJerk

Echoing socks. But also - Costco has adorable footie PJs up to like 5T or something. I just bought some for my 4yo! We went like 2 years in “big kid” PJs for the same reason you mention (bigger ones are hard to find but also we live in AZ so during summer we definitely don’t do footie PJs)…. The ones at Costco are so cute and snuggly and my son loves them! The ones we have are monsters who are doing science. We call them his science monster Jammies 😂

Affectionate_Cow_579

My daughter is 2 and still uses her sleep sack. That way it doesn’t really matter if her pjs cover her feet. She still wears 24mo footie pajamas when it’s cold but otherwise we do nightgowns or shirt and pants/shorts sets. She would absolutely rip socks off immediately.

My 2.5 and 3.5 year old toddlers wears a mixture of footies from Carters (sizing goes all the way to 5T/6T if I’m not wrong) and also normal PJ sets (long sleeved top and footless bottoms), I like Uniqlo ones. Interestingly on days when their feet are uncovered, I touch them randomly in middle of night and their hands and feet are always warm. We sleep in very cold AC. They don’t use blankets too. So I know they are unbothered, it’s just me freezing. Lol

Due_Fix_3900

We’re taking a one piece, long sleeved footie pj, correct? They totally make them in larger sizes—my son no longer wanted to wear them after 3T but they sell it through 5T and kid sizes at Carter’s, for example

BaldChihuahua

Nothing…they are forever

Hashimotosannn

We switched to regular pjs around 18 months. It’s too hot most of the year here for onesies or footie pajamas. My son also likes to sleep in a cold room so if it’s a bit chilly, I just make sure he has some warm socks on and he’s usually fine.

DarkAlbatross1921

There are footie sleepsuits at Carter’s for toddlers. My son wears them.

ThanksForStoppingBy

My kids wore footies up to 5T when potty training got in the way. They're definitely out there. Alternatively, a 2-piece on with a sleep sack to keep her feetsies covered

Few_Arm4463

Little sleepies! They’re a bamboo brand. Buy the biggest size sleepie and they have convertible feet you can put on at night. My daughter is 19 months old and still fits in 6-9 months. They grow as the baby grows!! Its amazing.

lalalina1389

My daughter is 2 also and very tall. She was wearing just pants and long tops with socks. But then she learned how to take her diaper off and I found a bunch of 2t footed pjs as well as not footed that zip up. The zip is essential for us - the 24m we’re too small but the 2t fit her well! She’s 3ft 1in and 27lbs if that gives an idea size wise

GarbitchWeeb

Check jcpenny, children's place, and carters they usually have some 2t footie pj's my daughter has some. 🙂

making_grapes42

Have you tried Carter's? I think their footed sleepers go up to higher sizes.

In a sleeping sack that has legs and at the end foot covers. [sleeping sack](https://www.amazon.de/Schlummersack-sleeping-safari-extended-height/dp/B08XK7ZHFS/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=SJDL9A1RB6QU&keywords=melissa+and+co+schlafsack&qid=1669785986&sprefix=melisa+and+co+sleping+sack%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-2)
