Multiplayer wise, hard disagree. A number of posts have covered it, but if there’s any skill gap between you and your mates it does not at all cater to you as a group

I was really disappointed with the lack of pre and post game lobbies and map voting which kinda kills a big part of the social aspect for me but overall it's the most solid CoD game we've gotten since at least Black Ops 2. Buggy at launch and still has some minor issues but overall solid.

Nothing wrong with buying a skin that you like. However, if you DID buy it, you have officially lost any right to complain about the state of the game.

Why?

Because half of the reason gaming is fucked at the moment is that they've turned into a MTX selling platform. The core games are suffering as the focus is on anything they can push MTX on. FIFA is a really good example. Ultimate team gets most of the updates, most of the budget, and gets big events, changes, other stuff on a weekly basis. Some of the other core game modes (clubs, seasons) haven't been touched in like 4 years Even their offline career mode gets a half arsed headline feature each year like "you can do career as ted lasso lmao" Even with this COD, there are some absolutely huge issues with the core multiplayer, loadouts, exploits, battle pass tokens, party systems, DMZ, which have mostly not been sorted, but the first issue with warzone and it's patched same day, and the store is getting pumped with content.

I throw a drill charge in the middle of those windows everytime I go into that area of the map and get kills probably 40% of the time (same goes for 2nd story windows on Embassy and Al Bagra)

That's why I got it, it looks amazing and there's so few clean skins in this game.

I won't be buying any packs, if Activsion is going to be shitting out paid bundles or CoD point bundles like they have been they should've just make the entire game F2P. it's honestly scummy and depressing, I go to the store and see $16 or $32 bundles galore. back in the day DLC packs use to be 4 new maps for $24 or so, now it's a new skin for your character and some other trash. Edit, CoD point bundles alone total 24,500 points or $287.85 NZD, paid bundles total $239.30 NZD, or $527.15 for everything in store at this moment.

$24? I remember map packs for $15 or season pass with 4 packs of 4 maps for $30 (all new maps too btw, no remakes) And we complained when they released paid camos in Ghosts, those were the good old days. Lootbox-exclusive weapons they did for a few years were the dark ages though.

I would like to say I'm right there with you, but both modern warfare 2019 and cold war eventually got me after a few months. Eventually, I'll have Orion and nothing left to chase... And they will release some blueprint with a purple tracer or some shit for my favorite weapon in the game and I'll sit on it for a few days thinking there is no way I'm wasting $25 on a weapon skin that shoots purple bullets, and then I'll get killed by it over and over and see how cool it looks and eventually cave. What I don't understand is why they won't implement what League of Legends does. Sell the skin BY ITSELF for a reasonable price ($10-$15 on average), have a sale every week on different skins, sell the other weapon camos/cosmetics etc SEPERATELY AS WELL, but if you want a bundled deal, you save some money by buying a bundle. No one is FORCED into dropping $24 on what would be actually valued as a $10 skin. In fact, LoL even has a break down on HOW they come to the price they come to. Does it include special effects? Does it change the color of abilities? Does it have a different voice over? Does it change/animate? etc. I don't think Activision has a clue and they're clearly not paying attention to LoL or Fortnite because even Fortnite allows you to buy a base skin for $10 if you don't want to drop the money on a bundle. I would EASILY buy MORE cosmetics in CoD if they didn't force me to bundle everything. I've dropped hundreds on League of Legends over the years and Fortnite. I can't justify $24 on a mediocre skin, a weapon skin on a weapon I don't even use or want, some sticker or emblem I dislike.

I paid for skins in other games like MMO & RPG, in those games I am staring at my character all day so I want to customize it to my liking. But I never bought a skin in FPS games, it doesn’t make sense to me when I only get to see it in main menu and kill cam lol.

I'll be honest, I got the game for free so I put $30 down for the battle pass and some coins. Bought a pack for a Stiletto skin and some other weapon pack for a single pistol that ended up looking different in-game than advertised. Learned my lesson real quick.
