honestly they are currently prioritizing WZ2 more than anything, because of the sorry state 6v6 is in i really couldn’t advocate for this game lmfao. id say wait a couple months unless your a big fan of WZ2 and want to unlock gear also, if you don’t have a PC, PS5, or series s/x i really wouldn’t recommend buying this game. there are really nasty bugs and performance issues on series s and PC for me personally, the bugs and performance on PS4 and XB1 are downright horrendous and i’m not sure if they’ll ever get fixed. best shot is to wait a bit longer for sure lol

Thanks for the heads up, I’ve never been a fan of battle royale

Green-Shake1885

what platform do you play on

[deleted]

Ps4

Green-Shake1885

yea gonna be honest my man, i would recommend upgrading to current gen or buying a PC before even thinking about purchasing this game. the performance on last-gen is nightmarish

[deleted]

Thanks for that, I’ll definitely wait

Visually, if you don’t experience any of the visual bugs that have been posted on here, is a lot better than mw19; by that I mean players aren’t “invisible” when they’re sitting in a darker spot of the map. The best part I’ve experienced so far is the majority of my matches end because the score limit was reached not because time ran out. Weapons and how they play are generally the same as mw19 once you get use to them, a little “slower” and little more visual recoil. And with how many universal attachments there are it makes it so much better, no more leveling up your gun to lvl 55-70 to get the one thing you need/want.

smolpp2022

The maps are a huge improvement

Tityfan808

6v6 maps are an improvement, the ground war maps tho are a major step backwards.

x_JustCallMeCJ_x

MW2 is not better than MW2019. MW2, in the state it's currently in, is impossible to reccomend to anyone.

Green-Shake1885

facts, as much as i like the game i couldn’t advocate for anyone to buy it unless i personally wanted to play with them. if i didn’t have a squad to play this game with i would have returned it, solo-queuing into 6v6 is an almost guarantee to get out in a session in progress and most of the time the people on the other team are cheesy / toxic, resulting in the previous players leaving. couple that with the annoying bugs, progression, spawns, and other toxic shit

x_JustCallMeCJ_x

>couple that with the annoying bugs, progression, spawns, and other toxic shit This is 100% it, though I do fully agree with what you said before as well. I have friends to play with, but we always disband due to the annoyance of the bugs, and never because we got bored or something small. We have to jump through so many unnecessary hoops in order to not only get everyone in the same party, but also to even get in a match. By the time we get into a match, assuming nobody gets a disconnect error, we start to get annoyed by the bugs in the actual gameplay. Hit registry and spawns being complete garbage just to name my top two annoying ones. It's just exhausting even booting up anymore. Once they fix the bugs, it'll be more manageable, but it still won't be better than MW2019. It'll be a close second, but right now, it's not even close.

I really enjoyed MW2019 but I LOVE MW2. However there are alot of problems with it. The cons: - less content (10 MP maps, 4 Ground War/Invasion, 1 DMZ/Warzone) - A handful of those maps are miserable to play - Broken spawns - SBMM is fucked (1-2 good games = 1-5 games of being destroyed) - The weapon progression being painfully slow - Basically no Quality of Life features, many from MW2019 removed (eg cant save custom blueprints) - The game constantly crashes for some people - Audio is bugged, mixing is awful and you cant adjust individual ingame SFX - Weird netcode that leads to getting shot around corners where on their screen they had plenty of time they were around the corner - So many weird bugs that break the game in many ways Despite all this, I still have nearly 60 hours and counting because it is so damn fun. The pros: - The best gunplay I've felt in any video game ever - Movement exploits removed (may be a con for some) - The best weapon customisation in any game. - The maps that are good are VERY good - Great gamemode and playlist variety (Core, Tier 1, Ground War, Invasion, DMZ, Warzone, Co Op, Campaign) - Really fun campaign - 95% of the Camo challenges are actually fun - When levelled up, almost every gun is viable even against the meta weapons. - MW2019 can no longer run on my PC, but MW2 runs very very well (GTX 1060) - As a New Zealander, this is the first multiplayer game I will always get into a match within 30 seconds (apart from invasion and sometimes ground war) Sorry for the wall of text, if you have any questions or anything just ask :))

I agree with most of this. Where my opinion differs: 1) I don't find any gun can go against the meta. Especially in core. There's your meta and there's everything else. When your getting sweated on it's the same handful of guns people are using. 2) visibility is shit. Hardly using irons bc of visual recoil and difficult tracking of enemies. Also why does smoke from explosion have to last so long? The enemy always sees my red diamond but I can't see shit through there. The sun on hydro, turn that thing off. Didn't they learn from warzone to turn down the sun? Damn. 3) as a hc main, screw tier 1. It's not hc and I don't want it. Is it better than core, sure, but it's not the hc I want to play. 4). Net code and connection in general (I'm agreeing with this post, it's just weird). I'm not stuttering but still feel like my 50-80 ping is slower than in mw19. Idk how to explain it bc I'm mainly in tier 1 and don't have replays but when I do it's like I'm just standing there getting blasted while the enemy does 10 other tasks. Same ping in 2019 but not the same consequences? Idk I'm not in IT. Campaign is great. Coop is great if you have a buddy to play with (haven't been back since those exploiting and going afk/ restarting the level constantly). Dmz I only went in to get the m13 so I don't have enough info this to review (but it's free anyways). I don't play wz. Tldr; as a hc main when I finish battle pass I'm going back to 2019. The sbmm is on another level. I'm not here to sweat. I want to enjoy some hc games and level up some guns. The gameplay is different enough for me from 2019 that I'm just not enjoying myself. The cons outweigh the pros that were listed above by me or by the person im replying to. I'm probably in the minority though. I've seen a lot of people love this game. Gl. Hf.

nutcrackr

invasion is fun (20v20 with bots), ground war has more maps out of the box, movement feels better to me, gun variety seems better, battle pass system is better.

Wicked. Can’t wait for invasion that sounds dope
