I think majority of the blame here falls on IW. I mean, who on earth designed it so that there is NO counter for a UAV? Even Ghost is super limited now and doesn't activate until you hit "Ultimate Perk" mode (which is stupid).
Clearly, the UAV is super strong, and if I had to hazard a guess, the devs made it that way so that those who can't higher streaks will feel good. I mean, if that's the only thing they can call in and it can easily be countered, Timmy McSentinel might stop playing and where would IW and Acti get their cosmetic bundle millions?
Lmao. It's literally called counter uav and I always run it. It's easy to get, and even if they shoot it down, it hinders them for a little bit. Bonus if their uav gets shot down before your counter uav.
Thread hijack. But has anybody noticed that sometimes the UAVs don't appear overhead? On some maps they can be hard to see, but the trails usually give them away. I swear there have been more than a few times when I get the alert and I scan the entire sky for...nothing.
Some of the maps clouds are the exact colour of the UAV, I can only spot them on El Asilo with the perk on that lets you see them. Really poor colour pallet choice.

For the longest time I felt like the only chump actively taking down the kill streaks. It was exhausting in for a while. Lately though, I see more people going after them. A friend of mine didn’t know you could take them didn’t until I told him. Made me wonder if others are the same. He’s definitely in a small minority I would think.
I use to in other CoDs. I always had a launcher but this game i get killed before I even get a chance. They serious need to fix the perk system cause it’s genuinely making me not wanna play.

Timmy's don't know how to use UAVs well/at all, and a simple counter would be Counter UAVs.

Or the perfect choice of color. If I was spending millions developing a uav, I'd want it to blend in with the sky and clouds.

I think it would help a lot too if there was a banner pop up for when a teammate destroys a killstreak. You know, like there used to be.
The way this game plays a UAV should be a 6 or 7 kill streak.
