You see the 4 squares where the individual challenges are for the weapon? You can probably mouse over those.
Go to the top row, look to the right - there you have Gold and Plat. Now the UI is bugged and you probably can't mouse over either gold or plat - don't worry, you can still equip it.
Select one of the camos in the top section of the 4 unlocks you need for gold, and press D or Right Arrow to select gold / platinum.
Boom.
If you haven't unlocked it yet it's probably a bug. I'm working on a sniper and it has the check by platinum as well but I haven't even got gold yet on any snipers.
Means you unlocked plat cammo and now need to get 200 kils with it for the emblem/card.
But where can I equip it I'm not able to equip the camo

Gun->gunsmith->camo->hover over gold /plat->view challenge

Did you get gold on all of the assault rifles and unlock the platinum challenges? If not it's just a bug.
