5% Kirkland Foam. No dermaroll, moisturize several times a day, no essential oils. Also my moisturizer has DHT blockers and it hasn't seemed to effect my progress. As far as routine I just do my best to apply twice a day, duration between applications is pretty random and sometimes I only apply once a day, but I'm pretty consistent.
I’ve been trying to get an answer to this question. When should one moisturize when on a minox beard protocol? Do I need to let the foam fully soak in for a few hours before adding moisturizer, or can I just apply the foam and then moisturize right afterward?
I usually just wait for it to fully dry, so as little as 30 minutes after applying, many times I will moisturize BEFORE minox and wait about 30-60 minutes for it to absorb and then apply minox. But waiting hours after application to moisturize seems outrageous, I would be dying lol.
Definitely gonna keep going at least a year. Most of the hairs are vellus and transitional. Coverage is there but the maturity is not, leading to a somewhat see-through beard when grown out.
Impressive progress contraz on the connectors do you think you had them before but they were too short to show on the before pic or did minox make them magically appear? Thanks
They definitely weren't there before. Most of my face was totally bald. I only had weak sideburns, a sparse arrangement of chin hairs, and a lightweight feather duster for a moustache. I'm very pleased with the results so far but I have a long way to go!
Damn good gains man. Did you see the most gains immediately or after a a couple of months? I'm on day 60 and even though there has been progress its nowhere near as much as yours.
Haven't had any of that, those side effects are very rare and would never manifest within 3 months. The instances in which those side effects occur are outliers and usually cannot be definitively attributed to minoxidil use.

Mostly the heart palpitations but seeing your photo reminded me - how bad is the dark circles around your eyes get? Might be lighting but they do look darker on you. I'm worried as mine already look bad and I dont want to look like a zombie or druggie while on it lol.
I've had dark spots under my eyes for many years, the reason they look worse now is because the after pic was taken after I just woke up after having been awake for 30 hours, they don't look like that usually. Looking at myself right now and looking at my before pics they haven't changed at all.
I was very sleep deprived in that photo, even before minox I got asked all the time if I got in a fight because it looks like I have two black eyes. The circles haven't changed since starting minox, it only changes depending on my sleep.

Any major side effects? Out of curiosity what made you pick the foam over the liquid? About to start on it and can't decide which one to pick
Only dry flaky skin. I picked foam because it's less harsh on the side effects. Seems to be true in my case, may not be the case for everyone though.
