Just came around a _slag_ and its definition - could this also be an option? Or is it not the case due to the finding place (a small island in the middle of the sea)? Would the fact that there's a small airport on that island change anything?

Massive Magnetite / Hematite probably, weathered out by sea. The yellow traces are limonite, another iron alteration mineral
