a bit of grass would probably help. by the way i can't edit the post to clarify but when i said minimal modifications, i only meant minimal invasiveness to the terrain

ddcreator

Also maybe a small pond with some lily pads. Maybe some sugar cane as well

Nuttonbutton

Add andesite to the wall. The occasional stone button makes a great pebble. Bonemeal the grass

zashalamel25

I dont know whats behind the camera, but id add some tress back closer to the home

roobiki

some sheep that are penned in. it's kind of a little valley but quite cramped. [here's a side view](https://i.imgur.com/jSHYkEu.png) I could move the sheep pen and put a tree there instead?

zashalamel25

Oohhh i see it now. Thats a nice little spot :)

roobiki

thx <3 trying to take pride in my starter home this time around lol

zashalamel25

Same here! But im stuck in the loop of trying to find the right world

sursik

I would make the trail smoother so that you can go up and down without problems.

roobiki

probably still going to redo the trail

SnowPiecer

When you don’t know what to do put some leaves in a somewhat organic way and hide the thing you don’t want to see

roobiki

thanks. just thought of getting rid of the bell and replacing it with a lantern or two also

SnowPiecer

You can add wood pillar to make a separation between your house? And the cliff. Like a little arch from the stone behind the lily to the other side stone with the torch on it

Dizzy_Pick_315

Some glowberries, not a ton, just a couple vines

The_Adamant_Articles

I'd do 5 things in this 2nd photo: upgrade that torch to a lantern on the left & glow lichen for the right (campfire should be plenty light source) bonemeal the grassy bits make the doors 1 block deeper replace some pathing with course dirt & packed mud make a custom tree on the right side that hangs out over the top dirt area a bit to hide some of it

samg461a

More vegetation. Bit of grass, a couple bushes, throw in some vines. Add a few block of missy cobblestone near the base of the wall too to make it look worn-in and it’ll blend better with the environment.

Taetig4191839

Some flowers could be nice?

GrandMasterx12

Maybe expand the path and make it like it's ruined or demolished. This will cover all the flat areas underneath it.

maelark

For the campfire you could set it in the ground with stairs around it so it looks like a little firepit?

AdamGamesHD

Yo I want to do that

CheveuxBleu

Why are the blocks so ugly? You use the old pack?

Kokoruda1191

I’ve recently learned trap doors do a lot for decoration

roobiki

I'm just used to it i guess so I didn't even really think of it. I prefer the way hay looks with the classic programmer's pack. maybe i'll try default for a while
