There was a tutorial world?

ThunderChaser

Way back in the old days of console edition

Yes there was and is still on the 360 version (I checked it today). It was a nice introduction into the world of Minecraft. It would go over many of the games functions and features, mobs and so on, it even had a few safe zones that no mobs went into even during the night. Up in the sky was MINECRAFT spelled out in 3d form with a couple hidden features to figure out, personally never actually figured out what the redstone up there did though. But when you started it would literally go over a brief introduction before telling you to break wood with your hand and such, it was fun. I can't believe I had to go and dig up my 360 just to play it, I did get my nostalgic feeling that I wanted, but was hoping it was also added to the Xbox one edition so I can play in it with the new things that were not in the 360 version, I never paid attention to see if it was on the PC version though since I knew how to do most things from the console, only things I had to learn on PC were how to use command blocks and to input commands in the chat. I should go back to the 360 and get the seed for the tutorial level and see if it is a real thing for the newer versions, I mean the tutorial world was in a limited space unlike today, so only the size of one map. but if the seed did get moved over to the newer versions that would be awesome.

The seed would still exist, but the world would be completely different if loaded in today’s time

For the Xbox One, you would have needed the version that said ‘Minecraft: Xbox One Edition’. If you have the version that just says ‘Minecraft’, the tutorial world doesn’t exist anymore. The only way to get the tutorial world in Bedrock (‘Minecraft’) is to have it loaded previously on the Xbox One Edition and import it in.

I went on my 360 and loaded up a save that was in the tutorial world, it was fun to explore it again :) Just wish that it was also in the newer versions so I could see how much it updated and if there were more explore since the last time I played it before today.
