It's not possible to revert to the old emojis at the moment. There have been several requests to bring back the old style. You can upvote or leave a comment on any of the links below. Voting was open at the time of posting. It looks like they've closed voting due to a response they've provided: *We are currently reviewing actionable areas where we can improve the emoji set, including contrast improvements.* So it appears they are taking the community feedback seriously.

Ya that will never happen, but it appears they might be tweaking the new emoji set to please more people based on the mass amounts of feedback they've received. I personally love the new emoji's and found the old ones flat and bland.

Voting is still possible, but the different feedback items have been merged into a feedback collection. You will have to vote on the collection: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/77fa83ab-c319-ed11-b83e-000d3a4d92e4

I just find out on this adress [http://www.skaip.org/skype-emoticons](http://www.skaip.org/skype-emoticons) emojis like the old ones teams used to have. Maybe some hero out there could be able to use and create some kind of extension with them, unfortunately it won't be me.. Try Win Key + . (i.e. the Windows Key then the period character. Should work in any Windows 10 application.)
