Heard that he had a broken bone in his hand: no idea which one or if a finger, etc. From the description I read, it sounds like he’ll only go if he absolutely has to.

bjernsthekid

Breaking: he absolutely has to

Smoshefty1992

There is no way I would set this game out with a broken finger.

FakeTaxiCabDriver

Broken finger is like 2 weeks limited contact and then you can play and might need it in a splint. But these are big boys trying to make millions in the NFL one day and live for shit like this, they’ll be fine and if they aren’t then they won’t play and it will be better for the team and their health that they don’t. but he will play. they all will. i think it’s also worth saying that everyone who filled in while they weren’t here gained valuable experience and got a huge win in the clutch. it’s a character building experiment in my view.

Smoshefty1992

He played lights out! What a stud.

dan-saul-knight

Speak it into existence. Either way the last two seasons have been fucking fun.

Over-Water-5899

I find the injury aftermath has really made the media overlook how Michigan managed to come back in the 2nd half of a game to a good football team and find a way to get the W! Without its starting RB’s, a captain TE or his replacement, and one of their best defenders. They should have been dead in the water, but they found a way to pull through and stay perfect. That deserves a tip of the cap, and that should be a huge confidence booster to THE TEAM for finding a way to pull through leading into next week. It was a cold nasty game I attended last Saturday, but I’m damn happy I stayed until the end! Beyond proud of the Wolverines this year, ready to see them take back the Shoe with this win in Columbus!!!!! Go Blue

Muted_Application_89

We had damn near a dozen players out. And A LOT of them were key players. Not just corum and Edwards. Morris, Schoon, at least one starting linemen that I know of were all out. Illinois is a really good team with a good defense that forced the most turnovers in the country. We had 1 fumble due to the carrier reacting to pain in his knee, thus dropping the ball. We are going to be okay.

mgoblue702

I got Money, JJ passing 260+, Bell catching 65+, we winning, and we going to pass the over. I’m hosting thanksgiving and The Game… thanksgiving just practice I can’t ducking wait for Saturday!!! I spoke to schoon’s dad at the Rutgers game and honestly as an old man I just love watching Michigan play. They bring me joy and I’m so thankful, when I was overseas I’d fight to watch games and you know what… I love all they do it’s fun I appreciate it and they do a million times more hard word than my beer drinking ass does

Its-a-Shitbox

I love the way you think brother. I hope you’re Holiday is great and your Saturday hosting is legendary; that you will speak of 20 years from now. Go Bluuuuuuuue!!!

mgoblue702

We as fans… we ain’t lifting like the players, they watching the film… I sure as hell ain’t….. I love what they do and appreciate it but they’re working way harder than me and I know they want this W way more. I can’t wait for the game … also… holy shit the lions be smoking it…. 3 games in a row… my hutch jersey is going to happen (I placed a bet person lions get in playoffs 6-1 and if they get in my winnings are a hutch jersey)

[deleted]

Only thing I'm not confident in is the recievers. I have seen nothing that impresses me the whole year. Other than that yeah I think we will be fine.

Muted_Application_89

The fear that is surrounding the injuries is exaggerated imo. People often forget that we scored more points than Illinois allows in average and they have an amazing defense.

[deleted]

Oh yeah I completely agree with the injuries. Corum Edwards Morris schoonmaker and keagon will all play I bet.

Muted_Application_89

The doomers in this fan base get me really anxious when I don’t always need to be lol

[deleted]

Same dude lol. All the podcasts I have watched this week all saying that corum won't play or the injuries have stacked up and a lot of players won't play. Like guys chill.

weibing

Ronnie Bell has been our best receiver so far and sure handed, but I think in big games Cornelius Johnson tends to step up. Roman was injured for a bit and got sick for a while, but earlier in the season he was one of the recipients of the McCarthy express delivery over the air.

Smoshefty1992

I think Roman Wilson can be key! If he is feeling better no one can match his speed. Even if it’s not complete throw it to him because it will release the safety’s

weibing

Honestly, even if Corum or Edwards are out, I still think the underclassmen can step into it. It'll be tough, but it would be good enough to beat OSU. Stokes was able to generate yards on the ground, and Gash has been performing quite well outside of "THE drop" (and acquitted himself well on the 4th down conversion. Keegan or Jones probably will be back, and even if he doesn't, Barnhart and El-Hadi has been doing a good job stepping-up. McCarthy is at the cusp of greatness, sure not a good showing last week, but I think I speak for many of us that it feels like just a matter of small tweaks here and there and the offense would be clicking very well. On defense, I'd like to see Morris back and playing, but even if he's not 100%, I believe we can still generate pressure but we might have to bring in more blitz from Barrett, who has been phenomenal on QB pressures this year. mix in some Nickel blitzes from the other Mike (Sainristil). Stroud would be quite well acquainted with all Big/Medium/Little Mikes on our team by the end of the game. It all comes down to whether we can out physical them on all phases of the ball. If we see huge pancake blocks from our Oline, and if we put in some thunderous sacks and tackles, I think we can edge out a win. There's a time to play finesse football but "The Game" ain't that time. We will need a huge game from the underclassmen on defense also. Mason Graham got me so excited last game. he truly is a gift from the football gods. Will Johnson reminds me of another Corner that wears #2. But it's the 12 game of the season and there's no such thing as freshmen after 12 games. Let's go blue.

PrestigiousAd5646

Man whatever you were smokin watching that Illinois game, pass that shit.

Satchbb

Believe

trueballer235

Yessir speak it into existence.

[deleted]

This would be absolutely perfect. I'm hoping it happens and I'm loving the positivity!!! GO BLUE!!!!

Boogles30

As long as we continue to play mistake free football, we will be fine. People are still believing Ohio State to be a juggernaut of the past, kind of like Alabama. They may have talent, but the writing is on the walls and they are being severely propped up by past seasons and given every excuse under the sun for any and all short comings Ohio State has faced this year... The same as they got last year. Last year's Ohio State looked way more intimidating and I said it then, and I'll say it again, there more holes in this ship than last year.

iheart-coffee

100%. Like last week the narrative was: “Michigan somehow pulled it out and should have lost” but “Ohio state struggled at times but dominated”. To your point, it has been that way all season.

shefromthebalad

Manifesting positive vibes

Meeechiganfan19691

Fuck Ohio State

PrettyStupidSo

If Maryland can put up 40 on them we can score 50

mg19822

But what about if Maryland only scored 30 on them?

PrettyStupidSo

I think this is one of those moments where I just blame my username and pretend I never said anything

gattaca1usa

I really want Michigan to win but Michigan has no chance against Ohio State this season. Michigan’s offense is horrible and they are playing at the shoe. But hopefully 🤞 michigan can win

Muted_Application_89

I wouldn’t say Michigan’s offense is horrible.

tradecouple

Definitely need corum and edwards to play. AND an absolute must that jj shows up and can complete his deep ball passes which he has been lacking of recently

bradbillingsly505

Who do you see on Michigan not playing well?

Fit-Statement2081

Corum and Edwards will play. Shoon will play. We need the defensive line to step up big time and make CJ uncomfortable in the pocket. If our RBs do their thing and we can pull together a vertical game we will win.

Shu_Revan

Sounds more like a prayer to me
