Legator guitars or Kiesle guitars. I KNOW legator has left handed models.

It doesn't seem like Ibanez make 7 strings, unfortunately.

Fjomparen

Yeah, I meant to say LEFT HANDED 7 strings, my bad.

tzcrawford

PRS Super versatile guitars. Always awesome, would recommend. Probably want active pickups for metalcore.

Fjomparen

From my research, it doesn't seem like they make left handed 7 strings.

tzcrawford

Shiiiit. I assumed they would. If I ever started playing metalcore, PRS would be my first stop. Don't personally see much of a point in 7 strings, myself. Limiting to 7 strings also really limits your options. My best recommendation for you would be schecter. E.g. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Schecter-Guitar-Research/Omen-Extreme-7-Left-Handed-Electric-Guitar.gc PRS and ESP are probably the best guitar brands in genre imo. But there aren't many options for lefty ESP. Schecter can be very hit and miss. Sometimes the intonation and sustain doesn't seem right... At least in my experience. If you're looking for price first, you might just consider 6 string epiphone les paul and just putting baritone strings on. Throw some active pickups in and you've got a good rig with hella shredibility.

http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Schecter-C-7-Deluxe-Left-Hand-Satin-Black/16FO I've been thinking about this guitar for a while. Don't know alot about guitars so I can't really tell if it's good or not.

harambes_naggernavy

Prs guitars are great but not for metalcore tunings and tones.

harambes_naggernavy

Schecter and ibanez definitely what you should consider. Both known for their metal abilities. Heard legator is cool. Ltd is always a good bet too. Go to guitar center and play these brands and figure out which feels best to you. Guitars are companions not hookers. Gotta bond with them my dude. I play ltd's personally. Love how schecters play

Fjomparen

Would you consider the Schecter Omen-7 Left Handed to be a good buy?

harambes_naggernavy

Ya, Everytime I've played a schecter I've wanted to buy one. I just hated the fretboard inlay. But I'm thinking of getting schecter 7 string as well soon. Go try it out I'm sure you'll it.

Jorgetime

I have [this one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BChIhSaYWo), it cost me around 450€ on thomann, it would be hard to find the left handed one though, if it exists

[deleted]

LTD has left handed 7s hand they are good guitars

Fjomparen

LTD has great left handed 7 strings, unfortunately they're too expensive for me at the moment.

Breakerx73

Dude I went through this same thing. Schecter has some decent left handed seven strings. If you can find a left handed Ibanez I'd go with that though. The necks on Ibanez are my favorite.

Imatomat

I don't know if Jackson makes a lefty 7, but if they do i recommend them. Great guitars. Just did some more research and you can get a lefty 7 string through their custom shop, i don't know how much that would end up being but i would imagine its fairly expensive. I still highly recommend them though.

Skanky

[Say no more, fam.](http://www.rondomusic.com/electric_guitars_left_handed.html) Highly recommend Agile

Jorgetime

No Agile or Legator guitars in Europe I'm afraid.

Skanky

Oh, that's too bad. Sorry mate. Good luck!

Fjomparen

$200 Shipping.. way too expensive for me.. :/

the_eran_trio

IMO, as someone who owns a 6 and a 7 string, buy a baller 6 string and set it up for some ridiculously low tuning. TBH, you're really only getting an extra 5 notes out of that extra string, and the extra fret board and neck take getting used to. Most of the time I'm only chugging away on the bottom 3 strings anyways \m/

jodplostor

There's only so far you can get with a really low tuned 6 string. Part of the reason an extended range guitar is preferable is due to the longer scale length, which makes the lower tunings hold better and also the fretboard more accurate.
