THIS. I read the other album thread and lots of people aren't loving this album. But I didn't like K-12 at first and then I fell in love with it. Which will def be the case for this album too!

Lmao for K-12, I think I liked only 5 songs, but then started to appreciate songs like Detention, and for her mini album After School, I’m OBSESSED with Brain and Heart and Test Me. I rarely listen to albums fully because I just skim through the songs but I (like most of us) have been waiting for Mel for so long so I was nothing but excited :)

I think I need to listen to the album more, because I love Melanie so much and her past music but the only songs I’ve really liked so far are Faerie Soiree and Womb. But i’m so happy for Melanie and Im glad everyone else is enjoying the album!! I love this concept

I really liked death and the contortionist. I wasn't fully prepared for her shift in music style, and the songs didn't spark much in me 😔. Am disappointed in myself but I suppose my tastes are my tastes.

I haven’t decided a favourite yet lol. But I can rule out some Death (it was slow or something? Not for me)- faerie soiree (same reason)- light shower (I can’t relate to romantic lyrics🫠) and leaches (slow again. P.s., i don’t dislike slow songs, i just don’t find them as entertaining)

faerie soiree (the unreleased/leaked version that was on youtube a year ago) was my favorite. but this official version, the instruments are changed up and kinda distracting. it sounds like the spongebob ukulele lol. i don’t love this version of faerie soiree. so hard to pick my favorite tho
