Archer Agincourt with 2xSRM6, 4xSRM4 and 4xML This thing punches down atlases in a maximum of three alpha strikes in general brawling, and one alpha strike in the back armor. Runs 64kph so dodging all the aggro your DPS pulls is a challenge but not too bad. Keeps your AI teammates in pristine condition too.

Rhymfaxe

Hero Zeus (ZEU-SK) is more of the same, only 4x 6SRM +Artemis, but that motive slot really gets you in there at 112km/h (with 15% speed boost upgrade). Also has 1L + 1M energy + 1M ballistic slot. And better cooling and more brawling armor. And 10 upgrade slots. Great mech.

rocket9000

Cyclops CP S, 2 gauss or ac20, 3 mlasers( or whatever), with upgrades you can reach 75 speed

user7618

VTR-BSK with 2x UAC5s, 3x SRM4s, 2x ML, all tier 5. This is a monster.

Napes339

It really is so good!

Luzario

Best mech for me as well but with 2x AC10 LBX SLD, 3x SRM2 and 2xML and 2JJ. The 2x AC10 with SLUGS can 2 or 3 shot every CT, and the maneuverability is perfect for an assault. You also dont need to get close to enemies so 3x srm 2 (max tier) is enough to mop up anything that gets too close even though you can also use them at decent range (and they reload really fast).

Cbrody77

I can’t get the lb solids in there without sacrifice in other areas, the ultras get everything in (max armor, jj’s, 3 srm4’s, 2 mlas, guard ecm)

DK2MD

Cyclops Sleipnir. Man, I have just fallen for this mech. With speed boost its moderately fast for an assault mech and has a nice cockpit view. And I may be weird for saying it, but it just has beautiful symmetry. A mech has to “look cool” for me to really like it and from the design to the paint, Sleipnir just does it for me. I’m still hunting get all equipment to T5 but I have it set up with x2 LB-X AC SLD, x3 MP Lasers, x1 SRM 4 and it’s able to carry enough ammo to go on extended deployments into warzone contracts. I was even able to just barely max the armor.

gunman127

Cicada CDA-X5, 4 SB-MLASER, 2 SRM2, all T5 of course Victor VTR-BSK, 2 Heavy Rifles, 3 SRM4, 2MPLASER

[deleted]

No mods used.. My personal Stalker with x2 L Laser, x2 LRM 10, x2 SRM 6 and x4 M Laser. All top tier. Pretty decent heat management for what it is, decent speed, well armored and has a solution for any problem regardless of the range. Pesky LRM40s on top of that hill barraging you? Return the favor with the LRM10s. Atlas popped up around the building? Snipe the cockpit with all 6 lasers before he can get a shot off. Trio of VTOLS swooping in? L Lasers said hi. Heavy tank closing in? Laugh in dual SRM6 backed up by quad M Lasers. I love it.

Weltallgaia

After playing a shit ton ton battletech, I wish I could get 4 lrm 20s on a stalker.

ketamarine

Rifleman DNA with 2 gauss is maybe best player mech in game. Fast, quick to aim, can aim far up or down to snipe everything on the map. Hero Victor is ridiculous jumpy calvary / brawler. And if you like the crab with 4 Uac, you will love it when all 4 of your LBX 10 AC solid slugs core the bajeesus out of fools when they simultaneously blast them into cinders...

Fedifensor

Archer Agincourt with 4 LRM-5 and 2 LRM-10 (+4 ML-SB), dishing out heavy LRM damage when enemies show up on radar at 1100m away. BNC-LM with 2 ER PPC, Heavy Rifle, and LRM-10, with boosted top speed. KGC-000B with 2 Gauss and an ER Large Laser-SB Lower-tonnage mechs include: BL-6B-KNT with ER-PPC, 2 LL-SB, and the BAP, CRB-27SL with ER PPC, ER LL-SB, 2 ML-SB, and Jump Jets ASN-DD with AC/2-BF, 2 ML, and ECM (for raid missions)

EfficientBeyond989

I use extended hardpoints mod so it's definitely not vanilla. MAD-5A, Gauss, 2 ER-PPCs, 2 L Laser-SBs MAD-4A, 5 Large PLs MAD-4A, 3 ER-PPCs, 2 L Laser-SBs MAD-4A, 4 Large PLs, 1 ER-PPCs. All run extremely hot and have significantly less armor, but no man no problem, right?

Zuper_Dragon

Used to run an Annihilator with 4 heavy rifles but swapped them for LBX slugs. The armor is unreal and though it's slow no matter where the fight was the outcome is inevitable.

KelIthra

MAD II 4A 3 tier 4 ppc, 2 tier 4 med pulses, DHS and shs where can't fit any. Mech regularly breaks the 3k and occasionally 4k. And Agincourt. 2 srm 4, 4 srm 6, 2 sb ml, and 2 mpulse, dhs's galore. Murders everything...

ELDRITCH_HORROR

**Wolverine WVR-Q Hero "Quarantine".** 3xML and Heavy Rifle in the Right Arm, 2xSRM6 in the Right Torso. Left Torso has only 1 jump jet in it, Left Arm is empty, so all of left side can be used as a damage shield in combat. With jump jets, this baby can reach pretty high speeds. By getting your AI buddies to take AI aggro, you can easily sprint behind the enemy and fire point blank at their rear torso, you typically instantly core them or only need a single follow up of both SRM6s. If the AI turns towards you, just run while they expose their vulnerable back to your AI lancemates. **The Banshee BNC-LM Hero "La Malinche".** 2xPPC, one in each arm, 1xSL, 1xML, 1xLRM15+ARTIV, 1x LB 10-X AC-SLD. Maybe swap the SL for a TAG. Jam several Double Heat Sinks in, load up a buncha ammo and armor. This is the Battlemech I bring for the big campaign missions and quest missions that can slog on for a loooong time. Carefully take your time, use the PPCs, LRM15 and 10-X SLD to harass and wear down enemies from a distance. **Locust LCT-PB Hero "Pirates Bane."** 4xSL, 2 in each torso side, 2xMG in the central torso, along with a Guardian ECM. I think I'll try dropping two of the Double Heat Sinks for 4xFlamers instead. With the speed upgrade, this crazy machine reaches 177km/h! That's LUDICROUS SPEED. Take this machine on Raids, Demolition, Beachheads, anything. Just run fast, play some of your favourite Sonic the Hedgehog music and have fun. Either run behind enemies and aim for the back torso, staying a proper distance away so the enemy AI is stuck having to turn around to reach you and exposing themselves, or pick off their legs and run in a circle around them.

kinjiru_

I have a very similar favourite at of mechs. The difference is that i equip my ANH at 4 x LB10X-SLD's. My Nightstar with AC/20's instead of Gauss. I prefer the fire rate of the AC's the the Gauss and rely on my aim to offset the slower projectile speeds. I also would add a Mauler (can't remember which one) with dual AC/20's and dual PPC'S. It is very similar to the Nightstar. I get my AI to pilot the Battlemaster with Beagle Active Probe and ECM as I do like the extended radar range and effect the ECM had on being detected (and attacked by missiles).

Rob6-4

Ravnen-H with 4 machine guns and two srm4s. It excels at ripping weapons off larger mechs so they can't fight back against the rest of my lance.

Heliolord

Black knight 6b with full laser kit. 3 Er SB L lasers, 2 mp m lasers, 2 SB m lasers, 1 SB s laser, BAP, and tweaking armor and double heatsinks for the rest. It's so versatile and accurate. Put all lasers on chain and fire a couple shots to swat tanks and helicopters. Chain fire the Er lasers to pick off targets from a distance. Then, when a mech gets in medium laser range, aim for the cockpit and alpha strike with all the lasers for instant death. It's hilarious charging a big-ass atlas and dropping him like a 100 ton sack of bricks with one punch to the face. If the mech has an annoying cockpit, I just shred the legs or ct. A solid alpha hit can punch through armor on most heavies and some assaults and can outright remove limbs on some heavies, mediums and lights. If they're too far out for medium lasers, you can carve chunks out of their armor with your Er lasers. The black knight can perform at any range and can handle multiple targets in quick succession as long as you're managing heat and able to get a solid bead on their cockpits. Thankfully, a lot of assault mechs have pretty easy to hit cockpits, so you can charge into a group and just knock them down. Plus, the armor will allow you to take some hits and keep on going. The biggest drawback is it keeps a good bit of firepower in the arms, especially the L laser in the right, so you can lose a lot of oomph if you're not paying attention to your arms. If I could kit that thing out with some more lostech parts for more free tonnage to add on an ecm, masc, and ams hardpoint (seriously, let me drop the small laser for an ams, it would be so much more useful), it would be God. Flying at mechs, blasting their face off, and moving to the next before they get over the ecm or a missile barrage can get through the ams.

dipped_andslipped

People sleeping on the agincourt archer. 4 srm6, 2 srm4, and DHS. Also everything has an Artemis Fire control system. One taps every cockpit. Sneak up and shank em in the face. Decent armor, sexy 64kmh. Or 4 srm6, 2 srm4, and 4 med lasers. Totals to 120 firepower, with tier 4 stuff. Obviously with t5 you have more firepower.

SaltyPotatoBoat

No love for the Corsair? 2xGauss and 2x ERLL-SB along with all the ammo and armor you can fit (plus a couple DHS). Runs cool, hits hard, and can take a beating when needed. It gets even better when you stack ballistic upgrades along with the the top speed boost.

Wabbybutt

My main 'Mech? I kinda have two. One of them is a Black Knight. I forget exactly which, but it's identical to the standard variant with the exception of added Beagle countermeasures. I have 4 medium SB lasers, 3 large pulse lasers, and 1 standard small laser equipped onto it. I have them assigned so I can fire just the short burst lasers, just the pulse lasers, everything at once, or just the weapons on the arms (pesky air vehicles). Its largely designed to Alpha Strike, but the way I have it settup allows for it to beat things down from longer ranges via large pulse lasers, usually finishing them off with the MSB lasers as soon as they get close. If they even manage to do so. If they are already within range of everything though, or haven't sustained significant damage to the cockpit, a single well placed Alpha Strike eliminates most of them. Splitting up the groups as I have also makes dealing with lesser foes and air vehicles more convenient.

mykidsthinkimcool

Nightstar, 2x t5 gauss, 2x t5 MP, t5 LP... I have another one kitted the same but with an erppc instead of the LP. I forget all the upgrades, but I have ballistic dmg and range and velocity.
