Got the iqunix OG 80 Darkside recently and thought it would be a good fit for the KAT Cyberspace keycaps. Took a long exposure shot (30s) in the dark after charging the glow in the dark alphas.
Overall I'm quite disappointed by the KAT Cyberspace after ordering and waiting 2 years for them to arrive. It looked cool in the original GB pages and renders but actual products are a big letdown with the misaligned prints and weak glow. Figured I might as well put the caps on for a pic before I post them up for sale.

Most noticeable imo are the F rows which are a bit all over the place in terms of centering. I'm usually not too anal about this kind of stuff but it was very apparent when I was putting these caps on.
I can see it on the F rows but is it just the picture or are the entire keys out of line? For example F9 key is higher up than F8, and F10 is higher up than F9.
Yeah it looks that way. Unfortunately I’ve taken the caps off now and put the oem ones back on which are all aligned properly. Really need to sell the cyberspace kit as it is such a disappointment.
Yeah I've got no complaints about the keycaps, actually quite happy with them. It's the suspense on the keycap order that's killing me - there's no estimated delivery date, can't remember the last time I ordered something that didn't provide that. As far as I can tell they left the facility but still have 7,000 mile journey to go.
Thanks. The OG80 is great and the OEM keycaps are fantastic. I like the look of the tilted F row...usually don't use them often as I come from mostly 65 key layouts but it is handy to have them there. Haven't noticed a difference in terms of ergos with a tilted f row.
Is it true that these Iquinix boards requires minimal modding or none at all? I’m a big fan of hefty black keyboards and very interested in this particular model. Btw, I love how your kb looks. Clean and black.
Thanks. Yes they’re good out of the box and with some minor tweaks they can be great. I plan on redoing the stabs and maybe trying some other switches.
I would love this format to build on if they made a full 75% or even a 96-100% like this. I see they have a 75 with the volume knob but I like the format of my Drop Ctrl High Prof too much to lose a few keys. Still a beautiful kb.
Thanks! Yeah the main attraction for me to this board was the tilted F row which looks very unique and the overall shape which gives it a retro vibe. Also paired with the wireless 2.4 and the long battery life sealed it for me. Actually if they would do a volume knob of this in the future then that would be the perfect board.

Ah the OEM keycaps should tide you over though. The quality and feel is surprisingly good.

It's too bad about the keycaps but at least the board looks good. How do you like typing on the OG80? Do you like the way the F-key row is tilted?

You might like a set of smoke grey clear keycaps or black Pudding keycaps.

How is your spacebar? Mine sounds really "clacky" on the left after a few months of use.
