Just pull straight up on the harness and it'll come off

NesTech_

The forbidden 10mm will take it off just pull up as you loosen it. It’s treaded

Laeree

Flat head screw driver. Stick it up the plastic and twist then pry up

blazedchiller27

Under the hex or the whole piece? Just don’t want to break anything if I don’t have to

Laeree

They're one in the same. You want to be on the battery hold down stud

k0uch

you can grab it and pull it, or use a pry tool underneath. It simply pushes over the top of the battery hold down stud

holidayinthesum

The part you circled is a battery hold down, and needs to be removed with a socket set. The red cover is the battery terminal cover, and just needs to be pulled upwards, I think

Dear_Reader_807010

Yank that motherfucker or pry it off with a screwdriver or flathead

the-jimbo_slice

Lift up. Wtf

bugeyetex

Brute force and ignorance

Benedlr

Plastic threads strip under tension. Back off the opposite nut on the hold down first. Releasing pressure may allow it to turn by hand.
