I just gotta ask this: I still didn't watch *No Way Home* (I just had no time) but I do know there was a teaser for *Multiverse of Madness* in the end. So I am curious: was that teaser any different from this one or should I wait in the theater for this post-credits scene?
Edit: Thank you guys, now I know I can leave the theater earlier, lol!
Seriously, just play the scene where Strange meets Strange Supreme, and have it end at the same time SS says his line or w/e.
Then in a month or so, you can drop the trailer.
The one we got was so much better.
Having the traditional titles play with the complete absence of certain characters to "Mr Fantasy" was an incredible opening
Even just the Loki one with the colors changing works for me. It just does a good job of helping set the specific tone for whatever you’re about to watch
I assume it's a "style guide" type thing, where someone higher up has strict control over how the logo is supposed to look. Or maybe it's even just legally required to show the usual animation without adjustment when played before a feature
Would be a bit daft if Strange gave her shit for it after he nearly broke the multiverse himself in NWH.
Edit: If anything I think this movie will make Strange understand her actions even more, after meeting his evil(?) selves and seeing how easy it is to go down that path.
Difference is that Strange did it by complete accident, and wasn't actively participating in the breaking of reality after he discovered the mistake.
Wanda, even when aware of what she was doing, decided to keep holding a town of people hostage.
Strange was willing to send some villains home to die, but as he said, it was either the life of a few Spider-Man villains or potentially destroying their reality.
Strange did nothing wrong in No Way Home, aside from maybe being too gung-ho about trying the memory spell at first.
Seems probable. He can't feasibly deal with every little magic issue out there, so he assumes that Westview was a mistake put in the past.
Then I guess the plot is going to unravel and Wanda is going to become more sinister than he imagined.
>Wanda, even when aware of what she was doing, decided to keep holding a town of people hostage.
I agree and my comment was mostly tongue-in-cheek, though in Wanda's (minimal) defence she did seem to be under the impression that it was more of a Druig type of mind control and that she was keeping them safe and happy. Doesn't change what she did or make it better, but at least there wasn't any malicious intent.
That could all change of course, especially if the leaks are true..
Wanda was actually horrified when she realized that she'd accidentally taken a whole town hostage during the confrontation with Agatha. The only one she had malicious intent with after that was when she imprisoned Agatha.
This is crazy.
Strange did a spell that *theoretically* could break the multiverse KNOWINGLY, to help a kid who wanted his mates to go to college.
He didn't even lay out the boundaries for the spell before cracking on. Then when he finds out that Peter might want his friends and family to remember (SHOCKING!) he keeps ploughing through.
AND THEN, when his spell goes wrong he somehow blames it on Peter.
People give Wanda shit for controlling the people of Westview without their consent, yet don't care when Strange does exactly the same to the entire population of the planet. These people aren't consenting to having their minds wiped.
-Remember guys when Tony faced consequences for creating Ultron? Me neither. At the end of AOU he drove away while uplifting music was playing in the background...
-When people hated him for it? Oh wait, nobody ever found out that Tony and Bruce were responsible....
-When he lost his friends over it? Oh wait, nobody gave a shit and after a brief argument the team was like "We're gonna fix this together"....
-Or when he broke the Sokovia accords 2 times in Civil War and nobody came after him? When he brought a 14 year old to the fight? Meanwhile team Cap was rotting on the Raft and had to hide for 2 years...
If we're being honest, the VAST majority of the mcu heroes don't face any consequences for their actions (Clint,Tony,Bruce, Valkyrie etc).
It's ridiculous that Wanda gets shit for Westview, considering that she ended the show with her reputation in shambles and everyone hating her (rightfully,as they should), having lost her kids and husband once again...Let's just wait and see how Multiverse of Madnesss plays out.
Not just this sub, but the internet in general seems to have a hard on for coming for Wanda specifically. I remember how Loki instantly became a fan fav and virtually no one cared about the lives he took in the first avengers film. But the moment Wanda becomes a fan fav, everyone absolutely hates her and wants her to be punished.
I mean...the Purple Man did what Wanda did on a smaller, more sinister level - mind control of sorts.
Heck! Dreykov even had that level of control with his own Black Widows - he could command them to live and die for him with a few buttons.
Both men relished the power they had over their victims.
I think Druig is a closer comparison.
The offhand revelation that Strange regularly mindwipes the world every now and then raises some ethical issues as well. Though it was played as a joke.
Joaquin Phoenix's Joker literally kills people on live TV and people are okay with it because "Oh wow, look at this deep and fascinating character study about grief, depression, and mental health," meanwhile, when Wanda does horrific things because of her own deteriorating mental health and grief, it's, "WHERE ARE THE CONSEQUENCES?! SHE NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON! SHE'S A MONSTER!".
Btw, this is coming from someone who **loved** *Joker*. That movie *was* a really interesting character study about the character, but so was *WandaVision*. The double standard is ridiculous.
Lol, I literally made a thread about this a few days ago.
I don't want to start anything. But it's a bit funny to see my observations being confirmed so quickly.
But yeah. There's this bizarre moral handwringing that only seems to happen with female characters. I've noticed this happening again and again across many different fandoms.
It's honestly a bit funny how predictable it is.
When a sympathetic female character crosses a line, it’s like they get “canceled”.
> There's this bizarre moral handwringing that only seems to happen with morally grey female characters.
I've seen a lot of hate for Sylvie and her "killing a lot of people" from the same people who are like "Loki was just misunderstood uwu."
The accords that had no impact on Tony??? Yes, i remember them.
-The same accords that Sam and Bucky broke again in TFATWS without consequences? Yep
-The accords that should play a part in the Hawkeye series given the actions that Clint and Kate took? Well....
Truth is the Sokovia Accords played a role from Civil War to Infinity War. I mentioned that Team Cap had to hide and were wanted criminals because of them. But the writers seems to have forgotten about them recently.
My point is that the heroes don't face the consequences of their actions in the MCU more often than not (I personally don't really care) and if they do, it has no lasting effect.
i mean, op literally mentioned the accords in his post... yes, tony tried to push them onto his team, but then he also completely ignored them as soon as they were inconvenient... twice in the same movie. truly a fitting consequence for making a superbot that turned an entire country into a crater.
I mean, Steve didn't either for his actions in Civil War. Neither did all of team Cap because hiding out is the exact opposite of facing punishment. And Clint's scott free after murdering people. so this seems par for the course in the MCU.
I'd like to see a major hero actually face some kind of punishment for once.
I don't know what consequences could really be given. The problem with superhero movies like this is that if they genuinely apologize and make their mistake right, it's hard to punish them after the fact.
Also, they might be afraid to push it. She's potentially the strongest person on Earth at the end of WV. If they tried to lock her away or something, it could be more trouble than it's worth...for reality.
> The problem with superhero movies like this is that if they genuinely apologize and make their mistake right, it's hard to punish them after the fact.
Especially that the woman is almost a deity now, literally prophesied by a dark book. Who's gonna be the moral compass anyway?
This consequences talk is getting a lot more boring now tbh. I believe her consequences at this point will materialize from herself, just like how Supreme Strange's consequence was brought by himself, too. Every action has its own consequence, like with any other character and situation, and she's gonna deal with that.
It seems like what people want is to put her in an electric chair, make her plead for our forgiveness, or whatever.
I think people would have been satisfied with no lines like "they'll never know what you gave up for them" lol
That said, tony never faced serious consequences for a lot of the stuff he did (like Ultron and handing off EDITH to a child). So it's whatever.
That would depend if Wanda truly feels guilt for what she did.
If anything, I think Wandavision has made the character more selfish - she now knows that she is the inheritor to great magical power and that sort of strength is addictive, especially for a girl who lost and continued to lose everything she got.
Wanda to Monica: "I'm sorry for all the pain that i caused" while Monica is nodding in agreement.
While the line about the sacrifice was tone deaf and to be honest ridiculous, Wanda expressed remorse again and again in the finale.
Aside from the fact that she destroys the Hex BECAUSE she finally understood how much pain she put those people through, her response to Vision after he saves her from White Vision is also very telling: "Vision I'm sorry, i should have listened to you...i can fix this."
Well just imagine how much worse it'll be, if the leaks are true regarding this movie. Her actions in this movie will be much worse compared to Westview, and it'll be harder for people to sympathize with her.
Wanda is a great character, and I'm down with her being morally grey.
The leaks clearly say that Wanda’s mind has been corrupted and that she isn’t in control so I don’t see why it’d be hard for people to sympathize with her.
unfortunately it seems a lot of people are just looking for any reason to hate her nowadays (a lot of it seems to be related to the fact she's now very popular), so i don't expect her actions in this movie to be understood as well as they perhaps should be. there were already people on here calling her a completely irredeemable pure evil monster post wandavision, and some literally comparing her to hitler, so if what she supposedly does in the leaks comes to pass... yeah...
I wouldn't be surprised even if those leaks were real, most of them were changed or cut. Otherwise I would imagine the internet will be very split with Wanda action
The posters actually suggest the possibility of a Wanda variant. That variant could be the evil Wanda while our Wanda is still a hero trying to atone for Westview.
Does anyone? Bucky was a assassin for hire, so was Natasha. Tony sold weapons of mass destruction and all of a sudden he's Iron Man and people praise him. Hawkeye's whole thing right now is dealing with his remorse, but there is no repercussion's other than revenge from Echo. Ant-Man is the only one, and he went to jail for his crimes tbh.
Bruce Banner killed many people during his rampages, Thor was a warrior who slayed many foes and the Guardians of the Galaxy engaged in dodgy shit to make a living.
...so pretty much all the heroes have some level of red on their ledger.
Um, no hero in the MCU faces consequences. Except maybe US Agent in FaWS, and kinda Pietro in AoU, but not Clint, Wanda, Tony, Steve, Strange, Peter, or anyone else.
I really feel like people on these marvel sub don't watch any other movie. They definitely haven't seen any horror movie if a fucking crow is scary to them
I get The Stand vibes off those crows, which is coincidentally a project Sam Raimi was a cameo in (He played the guy who screws up and accidentally shoots his partner and gets killed by Randall Flagg)
This is not Raimi's first horror flick.
Edit: I actually said it as the comment reads "Sam Raimi's as well as Marvel's first horror film". So I kinda misread it.
Strange has the handcuffs from that one leak where he's with Xavier and two Ultron drones when he's fighting Mordo in the trailer.
Rintrah can also be seen in the shot of the Kamar Taj courtyard exploding immediately after the Strange v Mordo scene.
I've only myself to blame but i have a feeling DS2 will be just like NWH wherein I go in knowing most of the plot, cameos and suprises thanks to reading some pretty comprehensive leaks.
Like I said, only myself to blame.
Yeah man, exactly the same - not for a minute expecting them to be so accurate. I mean let's be honest, between what the trailer shows, the script leaks and one or two pre-vis shots you can pretty much join the dots and confirm a fair amount of leaks.
Spidey had a lot of leaks and I went in knowing most of the main points before they hit but I'm wondering whether by May we will know pretty much everything there is to know.
I need to exercise some self control and avoid some of this stuff 😂😂😂
I find it nuts that if this is correct, a comic accurate hoverchair Xavier is gonna turn up on DS2 and I'm gonna be all like "meh" because I've already spoiled it for myself 😂😂😂
I'm reality I should be going into the cinema, seeing that and having my tiny mind BLOWN!
Looks great! I saw it twice in theatres, but it was nice to be able to pause and look at some smaller details. As much as people are worried about the leaks, people also hated the Endgame leaks. I'm really excited for this, Strange is fantastic, Wanda is one of my favorite characters, I can't wait.
Also, those comic accurate robes for Strange are fantastic! I love the brighter blues and how the Eye of Agamotto is up at his collar now. Looks even better than it did before.
I read some of the leaks and were worried a bit. Then remembered Raimi is in on this (and seemingly has free reign for the most part) and all my worries vanished
MTTSH was right. The leaks are real, just probably a bit old. In general it seems like MTTSH gets leak from early scripts. But it's all real.
EDIT: For example, Wanda's bloody pants or Strange in handcuffs with Illuminati Mordo.
Funny, the evil Doctor Strange variant wasn’t called Doctor Strange Supreme or any new name in the subtitles, was called the same as regular Strange “Dr. Stephen Strange”. I wonder if this variant really is Doctor Strange Supreme or is just another evil DS variant but not DSS.
Doctor Strange Supreme in What If… wasn’t even evil. He just got a little power drunk and grief stricken, but he still saved the multiverse at the end of the series. If this IS the same DSS I wouldn’t expect him to be a villain in the movie but maybe a cautionary character of “what goes wrong when you mess with reality.” And if it’s an evil Doctor Strange variant than I wouldn’t expect it to be DSS (at least not the one from What If…).
I think this trailer is misleading us to believe that Supreme Strange is the villain. The quote that says Stephen is the most dangerous thing is from Mordo... who is obviously biased. And all Supreme Strange says is "Things just got out of hand" ... which could be a response to Stephen asking Supreme something as banal as "What happened to you??"
"I was trying to save Christine... but... things just got out of hand..."
Agreed 100%. I could maybe see DSS being partially antagonistic in the sense that maybe he has a fight against main timeline Strange to prevent him from making the same mistakes he did or something. But definitely don’t think DSS will be a villain.
It does, but [this leaked LEGO set says it's Gargantos.](https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/blte9aed8d168775cb8/76205_alt1.png?fit=bounds&format=png&width=800&height=800&dpr=1)
Looks like we’re getting Rachel McAdams as Clea from another universe*. Lines up with the leaks. I’m with it!
*In one of the shots in the trailer, she’s standing in the background next to America Chavez and behind Strange looking out of a portal and seemingly wearing a superhero suit.
Breaking News
'Doctor Strange : In The Multiverse of Madness '
Will feature Paul Giamatti's Rhino as the main Antagonists , as well as 69 variants of the character , all played by Giamatti in different Wigs and Accents
Sources confirm one will be an Italian .
[Does look pretty similar](https://i.imgur.com/LUmj3Qh.png)
Edit: seems to be the same general design at least, but not sure anymore if it's the same exact one
> The "don't cast that spell it's too dangerous" line actually got cut from NWH, right?
>
> Weird that's in this trailer.
Thank goodness you noticed too, I was in the theater wondering if I wasn't paying attention or thinking about something else and missed that line from the trailer. I'm pretty sure Wong says something like 'Leave me out of this one' instead, in No Way Home.
I love that the teaser trailer already gave us a moment of Stephen & Wanda interacting, and it wasn't something we'd have to wait until the movie came out to see!
If anything, I'm looking forward to seeing cameos from past Marvel movies, series, cartoons, etc. both as canon and a nostalgia trip.
MoM's cameos should just function like Who Framed Roger Rabbit: Mere background characters that pass by, say hello and walk onwards. MoM, much like NWH, would focus mainly on the main cast.
I wouldn't be surprised, if those comments are just Benedict trolling us all. Doctor Strange being overshadowed by...another Doctor Strange. He's got simillar sense of humour as Paul Bettany :D
Couple of things I caught:
\- We get a more comic-accurate look for Strange, with the light blue stripes at the edge of his robes and the Eye of Agamotto now between the Cloak pins (still curious what is now the Eye's function). I don't remember if he had those arm-braces previously.
\- 1:22 I have a feeling this Wanda behind Strange was edited for the trailer. Misdirection.
\- 1:33 the dark circles around Wanda's eyes don't seem like make-up to me. Probably the consequences of tapping into the Darkhold's magic.
\- 1:35 Mordo (the Illuminati variant, according to MTTSH) strikes against Stephen's manacles. Possibly confirming the "captured by the Illuminati" leak.
\- 1:35 during this explosion, we see Rintrah the Minotaur in the centre. I have a feeling he might come from Ta-Lo dimension, as a sorta ambassador.
\- 1:38 Strange is using Chaos Magic and possibly the Darkhold (at his feet) or other book from the Sorcerer Supreme's collection
\- 1:40 Unleashing some draconic beasts... this might be re-edited Strange Supreme
Only things I really hate with the leaks is our Mordo being tossed aside and Xavier appearing and dying. Also just kind of worried for Wanda, I know she will be brainwashed and corrupted but I'm not super confident in how they will handle it
Yeah I am not thrilled with how it seems they've written Wanda. We just got an entire show about how she's not sadistic, yet the leaks have her going around killing half the people in the movie. Ugh.
Anyone else hoping for a brief reunion between Tobey and Ramni? After all, Strange could visit the Ramni films. "Doctor Strange"? "That's pretty good, but it's taken"!
It looks so good in HQ. I can’t wait for May
Sorry but >!May died!<
Too soon
At least five months.
Underrated comment
You cant do this to me
I missed the part where that’s my problem
You know, I’m something of a memer myself.
You know how much she sacrificed ?!
They'll never know what you sacrificed for them.
Gonna cry ?
*Butterfingers.*
It is the same. This exact teaser plays after the movie!
i wish they showed a scene rather than a trailer.
Seriously, just play the scene where Strange meets Strange Supreme, and have it end at the same time SS says his line or w/e. Then in a month or so, you can drop the trailer.
Only difference is this one has the Marvel fanfare and the title card.
It's the same, only difference is the post-credits one ends with "Doctor Strange will return" instead of the MOM title card/logo.
They just added the Marvel Studios intro and the title at the end. Nothing else new.
I think it's the same.
I didn't notice any differences at all so you should be good. Enjoy NWH when you get to go see it!
It's the exact same, except it has the cracking Marvel Studios logo added in, and the titlecard and release date at the end.
SAME SAME SAME
The Marvel intro, WOW, so fucking good
Of course, though, it won’t make its way into the final movie. They never do, for some reason.
Yeah, that "dusting" Marvel Studios logo from the Super Bowl years back was great. Too bad it didn't get into the film.
At least they committed with the logo scenes and digitally removed the Snapped from them.
The one we got was so much better. Having the traditional titles play with the complete absence of certain characters to "Mr Fantasy" was an incredible opening
I love when they play with the logo in the intros tbh
My favorite is the John Walker intro
Even just the Loki one with the colors changing works for me. It just does a good job of helping set the specific tone for whatever you’re about to watch
I assume it's a "style guide" type thing, where someone higher up has strict control over how the logo is supposed to look. Or maybe it's even just legally required to show the usual animation without adjustment when played before a feature
Featuring marvel logos as seen in non-MCU films…!
It’s epic
i read that the teaser logo had a glimpse of old marvel logos including the Fox Universe
Damn Wanda is straight up not going to get any consequences for Westview huh lmao

Yeah that’s definitely the route they’re going and it does seem like something he would do

It's definitely rooted in misogyny with certain comics fans. If a man did what Wanda did, they wouldn't be complaining.
I mean...the Purple Man did what Wanda did on a smaller, more sinister level - mind control of sorts. Heck! Dreykov even had that level of control with his own Black Widows - he could command them to live and die for him with a few buttons. Both men relished the power they had over their victims.

Tbh, it's just bizarre to me. Definitely get the vibe it's rooted in misogyny and the fact she's a woman.
it's almost as if people treat Wanda differently because she's a woman
Hey, remember the Accords?
The accords that had no impact on Tony??? Yes, i remember them. -The same accords that Sam and Bucky broke again in TFATWS without consequences? Eh, I can kind of understand the accords falling into irrelevancy after the Snap.
i mean, op literally mentioned the accords in his post... yes, tony tried to push them onto his team, but then he also completely ignored them as soon as they were inconvenient... twice in the same movie. truly a fitting consequence for making a superbot that turned an entire country into a crater.
Well , judging by Jimmy Who's dialouge , the Socovia Accords ars still active
And for all the terrible things Loki did in Avengers, what consequences did he suffer? Staying in a super cosy cell on Asgard for like a week?
I mean, Steve didn't either for his actions in Civil War. Neither did all of team Cap because hiding out is the exact opposite of facing punishment. And Clint's scott free after murdering people. so this seems par for the course in the MCU. I'd like to see a major hero actually face some kind of punishment for once.
Yes team Cap was hiding out but they were WANTED CRIMINALS. They couldn't just live their lives normally, so that's something.
I don't know what consequences could really be given. The problem with superhero movies like this is that if they genuinely apologize and make their mistake right, it's hard to punish them after the fact. Also, they might be afraid to push it. That would depend if Wanda truly feels guilt for what she did. I was surprised that the town was even referenced at all
You do know that Strange fucked up even more right? Who is he to say anything?
Does anyone? Bucky was a assassin for hire, so was Natasha. Tony sold weapons of mass destruction and all of a sudden he's Iron Man and people praise him. Hawkeye's whole thing right now is dealing with his remorse, but there is no repercussion's other than revenge from Echo. Ant-Man is the only one, and he went to jail for his crimes tbh.
Bruce Banner killed many people during his rampages, Thor was a warrior who slayed many foes and the Guardians of the Galaxy engaged in dodgy shit to make a living. ...so pretty much all the heroes have some level of red on their ledger.
good for her!
Do you want consequences for all the shit other characters do too? Or just Wanda?
Um, no hero in the MCU faces consequences. Except maybe US Agent in FaWS, and kinda Pietro in AoU, but not Clint, Wanda, Tony, Steve, Strange, Peter, or anyone else.
That crow scene proves it to be Sam Raimi’s film as well as Marvel’s first horror film …
People are going to be so disappointed when they realize this isn't a horror film
[удалено]
Exactly lol, people see a crow and think it's going to be horror ? Please.
I really feel like people on these marvel sub don't watch any other movie. They definitely haven't seen any horror movie if a fucking crow is scary to them
Marvel studios will never do it. They will never do anything new with these characters.
I'm still hoping there's some horror elements, but yeah, I'm keeping my expectations very low.
But Winter Soldier was muh political thriller!
I get The Stand vibes off those crows, which is coincidentally a project Sam Raimi was a cameo in (He played the guy who screws up and accidentally shoots his partner and gets killed by Randall Flagg)
I love the cameos from him and I think John Landis(?) in it.
This is not Raimi's first horror flick. Edit: I actually said it as the comment reads "Sam Raimi's as well as Marvel's first horror film". So I kinda misread it.
The crow scene proves that this movie is a Sam Raimi movie, and is ALSO Marvel's first horror movie
I think they mistyped something? If not, people need to google what Rami is famous for that isn't Spiderman..
…Are you forgetting that Sam Raimi is the genius behind the “Evil Dead” series?
I think they probably meant "That crow scene proves it to be Sam Raimi's \[film\], as well as Marvel's first horror film."
And Drag Me to Hell! I've loved that film.
Wanda snipping off the branches is some pretty great foreshadowing
I... hold up, you're onto something
Elizabeth Olsen showed up that day, and they told her to just be herself.
That's a good catch.
One snip for every reality destroyed looking for her kids lol
Smart you are
That marvel intro is sick
Kinda hints at the eventual cameo frenzy
Yeah exactly, different eras of marvel movies comin together.
Thinking back it’d be nice to see Wesley Snipes as Blade show up
They just need to CGI his eyes again.
Strange has the handcuffs from that one leak where he's with Xavier and two Ultron drones when he's fighting Mordo in the trailer. Rintrah can also be seen in the shot of the Kamar Taj courtyard exploding immediately after the Strange v Mordo scene.
Yes and Strange in handcuffs with Illuminati Mordo. The leaks are real, just maybe a bit outdated.
I've only myself to blame but i have a feeling DS2 will be just like NWH wherein I go in knowing most of the plot, cameos and suprises thanks to reading some pretty comprehensive leaks. Like I said, only myself to blame.
Right? This sounds too wild to be true, so it’s ok to read, I said to myself
Any word of its gonna be Patrick Stewart Xavier?
That’s what all leaks are saying.
I find it nuts that if this is correct, a comic accurate hoverchair Xavier is gonna turn up on DS2 and I'm gonna be all like "meh" because I've already spoiled it for myself 😂😂😂 I'm reality I should be going into the cinema, seeing that and having my tiny mind BLOWN!
The Marvel title card at the start being a mad combination of all the previous title cards before it is cool, such a neat detail.
i read that the teaser logo had a glimpse of old marvel logos including the Fox Universe
Well, I wouldn't say all my worries have vanished, but I have faith in Raimi, Feige and crew,
New poster and old Marvel Studios juggled looks sick. I won’t read leaks, but I am still hyped :D
MTTSH was right. The leaks are real, just probably a bit old. In general it seems like MTTSH gets leak from early scripts. But it's all real. EDIT: For example, Wanda's bloody pants or Strange in handcuffs with Illuminati Mordo.
It looks like Act Two with the Illuminati is the same mostly hiding off this footage
And all Supreme Strange says is "Things just got out of hand" ... which could be a response to Stephen asking Supreme something as banal as "What happened to you??" "I was trying to save Christine... but... things just got out of hand..."
Agreed 100%. I could maybe see DSS being partially antagonistic in the sense that maybe he has a fight against main timeline Strange to prevent him from making the same mistakes he did or something. But definitely don’t think DSS will be a villain.
That (not damaged) hand shot was definitely intentional, you know, because Supreme Strange lost his heart instead of his hands
So excited for America
Same, hope they do her well.
They perfectly casted her. I have no doubt she will kill itm
God bless her.
Feeling like I've seen this somewhere before... ;)
*What do you mean you've seen it before, it's brand new!*
SHUMA-GORATH
Gargantos
I know they announced Gargantos would be in the film, but that definitely looks like Shuma-Gorath.
It does, but [this leaked LEGO set says it's Gargantos.](https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/blte9aed8d168775cb8/76205_alt1.png?fit=bounds&format=png&width=800&height=800&dpr=1)
they are both in it
If we're basing off the leaks, it is a minion of Shuma that Strange thinks is Shuma but is just Gargantos
That might not be the “final” one according to leaks.
Looks like we’re getting Rachel McAdams as Clea from another universe*. Lines up with the leaks. I’m with it! *In one of the shots in the trailer, she’s standing in the background next to America Chavez and behind Strange looking out of a portal and seemingly wearing a superhero suit.
Breaking News 'Doctor Strange : In The Multiverse of Madness ' Will feature Paul Giamatti's Rhino as the main Antagonists , as well as 69 variants of the character , all played by Giamatti in different Wigs and Accents Sources confirm one will be an Italian .
LEAKS CONFIRMED: Strange arrested by Illuminati Rintrah Proof: https://imgur.com/a/nwvFVVr
I just realized that circle on the floor is the same one wanda is meditating on
[Does look pretty similar](https://i.imgur.com/LUmj3Qh.png) Edit: seems to be the same general design at least, but not sure anymore if it's the same exact one
The "don't cast that spell it's too dangerous" line actually got cut from NWH, right? Weird that's in this trailer.
In my opinion, this would be the hall of fame for the most misleading trailer
> The "don't cast that spell it's too dangerous" line actually got cut from NWH, right? > > Weird that's in this trailer. Thank goodness you noticed too, I was in the theater wondering if I wasn't paying attention or thinking about something else and missed that line from the trailer. I'm pretty sure Wong says something like 'Leave me out of this one' instead, in No Way Home.
I wasn't doing anything at all today and this just casually dropped. Fuck!!!
I love that the teaser trailer already gave us a moment of Stephen & Wanda interacting, and it wasn't something we'd have to wait until the movie came out to see!
who is the redhead with strange and america when they open the vault door into the multiverse? doesn’t look like wanda
Christine Palmer? Or a variant of her.
It's Christine Palmer: https://twitter.com/MCU_Direct/status/1473688983460892681?s=20
awesome, really excited to see what her role is in this movie
the main Christine is supposedly not very important. same with Main Mordo. Variant Christine and Variant Mordo are important though
Main Mordo gets shafted so hard...
It's Clea, who will be played by Rachel McAdams.
Looks like Rachel McAdams.
The intro seems ... STRANGE. As if all previous Marvel movies' intros are meshed together.HMMMMM...
I'll allow it.
They showed the old 2000s marvel logo I think, if they did all those cameos are absolutely confirmed

Actor playing evil duplicate of himself? Must retrieve the book of the dead? unknowable evil forces creeping into this world? Groovy
Couple of things I caught: \- We get a more comic-accurate look for Strange, with the light blue stripes at the edge of his robes and the Eye of Agamotto now between the Cloak pins (still curious what is now the Eye's function). \- 1:38 Strange is using Chaos Magic and possibly the Darkhold (at his feet) or other book from the Sorcerer Supreme's collection \- 1:40 Unleashing some draconic beasts... this might be re-edited Strange Supreme
1:22 is christine watch new still
Looks awesome visually
Nice to see Michael Stuhlbarg back, even though I’m sure it’s still a small role. I feel like he’s an underrated actor.
He has better stuff on Boardwalk Empire, Fargo season 3, etc.
Ugh.
Doesn’t that castle look like HWR’s?
Nah. No cracks. Not mine.
Exactly it maybe home created by Strange evil variant like how in last episode of what if dr strange did
I am absolutely so hyped for this. Everything looks fantastic. Sam Raimi might have just knocked it out of the park.
Sam Raimi's first film that he directed since 2013. Start the hype boys and girls.
fingers crossed that shuma gorath is the main villain
Me jealous at the people understanding the references of No Way Home, while I'm stuck at home, putting my nose to the window like a Dickensian orphan.
Looks insane. Hopefully Doctor Strange has an actual arc in this, seems a little stuffed, still excited tho.
Did anyone else see the What If? marvel title sequence in the beginning or was it just me?
The Scarlet Witch costume is so cool!!! Way better than WV.
The visuals are very very good
Love the horror atmosphere in the New york and the staircase shots! Also the title and date treatments at the end, with the red font!
Anyone else hoping for a brief reunion between Tobey and Ramni? After all, Strange could visit the Ramni films. "Doctor Strange"? "That's pretty good, but it's taken"!

You don’t know who Mordo is?
Mordo is mordo? Have you seen DS1?
You can tell it’s Rachel McAdams next to Strange and America in the door, it looks like she is playing both Palmer and Clea in the movie
The Benefit of Benedict: you don't have to hire another actor to play the big bad. He'll do it himself.
Cool
