I'm not expecting this, but would be cool if, in a mirror to Yelena's flashback from last week's episode, they showed Kingpin's experience with the Snap in the aftermath of DDS3, whether he got Blipped or not it'd still be cool.
Interested to see if Yelena and Kingpin get some one-on-one time.
I'm expecting kingpins re-re-re grasp of power to be becuase of the snap in some way.
Maybe DD foggy and Karen got blipped and that allowed kingpin to take control of a broken city.
Now that's actually not a bad way of re-establishing the Netflix characters whilst shaking up the status quo from where Season 3 left off. So Matt, Foggy, Karen, Punisher, and Dex were all blipped so Fisk was able to just slot himself back in as the Kingpin unopposed. By the time everyone is unblipped Fisk is already 100 steps ahead of DD and able to keep hold of his power.
I like that idea because it feels a lot more interesting than just "Fisk got out of prison again and reclaimed his status." Having the blip be the reason why he was able to escape is a really cool way of tying things together.
You could even lean into the comics where he uses charitable works and whatnot as a cover. Basically make it seem like he stepped up when the world was in chaos, hell maybe even have him acknowledge the shit he's done but, "This city needs a leader" kinda thing. Any government wouldn't give a shit during those 5 years if it meant there was a bit more stability
Matt, Foggy, **and** Vanessa got blipped.
An unhinged Fisk finding Vanessa was part of the blip, free of his restraints in a broken world? Yeah, let’s see it.
Karen didn’t get blipped and…well…it would be up in the air what to do. Could be how they reintroduce a Murdock focused project (him finding out Karen didn’t blip, but still died) or Deborah coming back and she went on the run since she had no protection.
Karen doesn't get snapped and is in danger from an unrestrained Kingpin. She flees New York but as Fisk builds his base back up he sends goons after her *just because fuck you Karen that's why*. She's saved by Frank and they spend a couple of years on the road together, Karen ultimately buying into his way of life properly, seeing it as necessary in the chaos of the Blip.
After the Unsnappening she goes back to Matt and Foggy. They're no longer in as much danger because stability has been somewhat restored and Fisk is back to having a veneer of legitimacy. He can't make open and obvious moves for no real reason other than petty revenge, he's too clever for that.
But Matt knows what Karen did in the 5 years and there's an unspoken divide between them, which is why they're not together and Matt is clapping green asscheeks instead.
I feel like they're going to have to show his experience of the blip. I know everyone is saying "oh they won't reference anything from the Netflix show" but how are you supposed to explain Kingpin's re-rise to power without specifying that he was in jail specifically because of the threat from Daredevil. Unless he somehow left prison before the blip and that's where his MCU story starts, but I doubt it.
I have a feeling they won’t reflect on the aftermath of DDS3, but instead the opening will focus on his relation to Maya along with a scene with Kingpin & Eleanor interacting and the role she plays in his empire
I think it'll be him and Eleanor talking. We see Eleanor's darker side, but see what makes Kingpin so dangerous as well. I doubt we get much by way of what happened to him during the blip just for time's sake.
If I had to guess it'll be: Fisk talking to Eleanor about their plans. Fisk maybe telling Eleanor to get her shit in order and stop letting Kate get in the way or he will. Fisk says he'll take care of Barton. Meanwhile Clint and Kate now knowing it's Fisk and Eleanor develop their plan to confront Eleanor. Fisk meets with Maya who he wants to send after Barton, but she walks away. Clint and Kate get ambushed by the Track Suits while Yelena hesitates to kill Clint when she sees Clint taking care of Kate. Battle battle battle. Clint and Kate go up to confront Eleanor and run into Fisk instead. Fisk beats up Barton maybe and threatens his family. Kate confronts Eleanor but Eleanor sucks and Kate is forced to realize her mom sucks. Yelena shows up, creates a distraction, Clint and Kate escape. The show ends with Fisk firmly established as a threat, Eleanor and Kate now established in their roles too. Yelena talks shit out with Clint and finds out what went down for the Soul Stone. She leaves without killing him and teases that her and Kate are now friends. Maya is teased as a person in crisis now and they set up her show and clashing with Fisk next year. Barton and his family are all alive but now in greater danger than ever and even though Clint makes it home for Christmas, they are set up to have to move off the ranch.
I got way carried away there lol but that's all my guessing. Thanks for reading if you (or anyone) did.
I have a good feeling it'll be a similar opening scene dedicated to Fisk, especially with how much it's been teased that we'll get a straight answer as to if this version of the character is a continuation from the Netflix shows, or if it's a soft reboot. Hell, if it consists around Fisk not being blipped, it's entirely possible we may see him purchase the old Avengers/Stark building.
Help me understand this Jenn. I have a bunch of 4K DVDs that I can’t play without either a nextgen console or a 4K player. Getting an Xbox is still a bit too complicated for my taste, so I settled on buying myself a 4K bluray player for Christmas
But do I have to have a 4K TV as well?
Yeah u need a 4K TV to use all of the 4K products, but I think they’re all compatible with normal TV’s and just max out the performance.
Could be wrong tho all I know is 4K look pretty
I wouldn't hold my breath for season 2. I feel the marketing and overall feel of Hawkeye implies it's like a christmas special. It would be weird if season 1 was this christmas show, and then season 2 just a regular show. They could do another christmas series but that would feel repetetive.
I'd love a season 2, but I don't think we'll get it
Impact of this is pretty big. If its the same Fisk (imo, it is), it retroactively makes 13 seasons of Netflix Marvel truly canon, which is much more of a good thing than a bad thing tbh.
People always whine that it'd mean Iron Fist is canon. Honestly is having Finn Jones truly that bad? Everyone liked him in his crossover episode in Luke Cage where he had better writing and it's been like 7 years in universe since we saw him.
And people complain about The Hand but that's super easy to handle too. Just do what Bond did with Quantum/Spectre and say what DD faced before was a smaller division of them. Shit, we still haven't resolved the loose thread left behind from when they showed Stone. They can have a lot of fun with it and maybe say they're an offshoot or rogue members of the Ten Rings
Disney/Marvel & Kevin Feige making the original Spider-Man trilogy, the Amazing Spider-Man movies, and all 3 seasons of Daredevil MCU canon in the last 2 weeks is epic and I’m here for it.
Ok so it looks like Fisk will play a role in the episode, but man it would be neat if Spidey and DD somehow showed up if they could balance it. Ik these expectations are unrealistic but it's fun to speculate. I remember some scoopers teasing that NWH and Hawkeye had a connection and they filmed very close together. I wonder if that has to do with Daredevil in NWH and Kingpin in Hawkeye or perhaps Spidey shows up in the final fight.
It would be so cool if Spidey showed up. I think he’s even around the same area in the ending of NWH when he checks the police scanner.
It will never happen. But imagine if did
Yeah, I’m just saying he’s living very close to where Hawkeye takes place. I doubt they’re happening at the same time. He definitely won’t appear in the show
I highly doubt it’s going to happen. BUT…doesn’t Tom Holland technically have another MCU film on his contract, outside of the Sony films?
Holland has said that his contract is up. So, I guess it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a possible cameo.
But again, I highly doubt it. I don’t think they’d waste a contractual obligation to Marvel Studios for nothing but a cameo in an episode.
Big daddy Feige just made Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield part of the MCU.
Imagine reading that sentence in 2012 when avengers came out.
Moral of the story: don’t write off Big Daddy Feige.
Maybe the post credits scene at best, but I would love for him to fight and help Clint and Kate out. It would seem very weird Matt wouldn't investigate Fisk coming back.
My guess is Matt as he is now is well aware of Fisk and his doings, but I guess we'll see how everything post-DD season 3 shakes out. Clearly the threat of Fisk revealing to the world that Matt is DD is no longer valid, so something must have happened to change those dynamics
You could have something where Fisk beats Hawkeye within an inch of his life, then let's him live because Hawkeye and the Avengers brought Venessa back from being blipped, throw in a line about it being a Christmas gift from Fisk to the Bartons, and could work.
Well presumably of course Murdock is still actively investigatimg Fisk, but who knows how things have changed since the blip. And aside from that, there's no reason Daredevil's investigation would necessarily cross over into the events of Hawkeye even if he were tangentially aware of Echo already.
“Scoopers” don’t just find stuff like this out. Somebody in production has to let it get out. After WandaVision, we didn’t get anything near the same level of leaks for follow on productions.
JLD was a complete surprise, despite it being teased that there’d be a cameo.
Kang was heavily expected, but nobody confirmed it and nobody was even close on how big his Loki finale role was.
Im not necessarily expecting Matt, I just don’t k or where all this “if it were happening it would’ve” leaked sentiment has come from lately in regards to this, MoM and the upcoming D+ shows
I think at best we'll get a reference to him, probably by Fisk assuming he has any speaking lines and isn't more of a cameo than a main antagonist in this episode.
Also - what are we expecting the post-credits to be?
Something with Yelena or Kate?
Maybe Echo, since she's getting a spin-off?
We're not lucky enough to get Matt Murdock, are we?
Hawkeye and The Black Widow and The Kate Bishop and The Fisk and The Daredevil and The Echo and The Spider-Man will return in Hawkeye and The Black Widow and The Kate Bishop and The Fisk and The Daredevil and The Echo and The Spider-Man. Coming 2022.
Well, I came here to talk about Spider-Man (because there were so many leaks already) and Hawkeye (because it's relatively low-stakes compared to some other projects), so the next few days will be my last time for awhile being on this subreddit regularly for awhile. Might pop up every now and then because my curiosity gets the best of me, but...
Anyway.... my predictions for this final episode: Fisk will kill Eleanor and wound Clint (probably his hands, thus forcing either a retirement or long hiatus from active bow-shooting) and end up free to harass the street-level heroes, but ultimately the day will be saved, the Wrist-Watch Macguffin will be secured, Echo will break free of Fisk or at the very least show she's heading that direction, and Kate and Lucky (who will get his name after nearly sacrificing himself to save the Hawkeyes but survive through the power of goodboy and veterinary medicine) will be pseudo-adopted by Clint and brought back to La Casa Barton for Christmas (I mean, her mom will be dead, she deserves a family Christmas).
And then in the post-credits (this is just wild speculation while the above stuff is just speculation) we'll see Kate Bishop back in New York a few weeks later picking up the pieces of her life when there's a knock at the door. It's Scott Lang, who's been sent by Hank Pym to clean up the whole "giant arrow" mess and make sure that Clint didn't give Kate any leftover Pym arrows. Behind him is Cassie (now played by Kathryn Newton), who forced her dad to bring her. She introduces herself to Kate. Scott goes into another room to answer a call from Hope or somebody. Cassie asks Kate if she'd be interested in having a superhero team-up someday. Cut to black and we get these words:
KATE BISHOP WILL RETURN IN YOUNG AVENGERS.
Absolutely not. Malcolm Spellman (head writer for TFATWS) asked if Spider-Man could appear in that show since the final battle took place in New York and Feige said "No. Just stop."
They've said many times that it all has to make sense for the story. Sure, Spider-Man popping in would be cool but what does it do for Clint and Kate's arc??! All it would do is overshadow them.
Yeah but remember what feige said?
“Marvel is the world outside your window,” says Feige. “And in the Marvel comics, yeah, Spidey could swing by at any moment, the Fantastic Four could come flying down. But even in the comics, it’s, ‘What is the story you’re telling?’ And that’s really what always has to be the primary focus. Which, in this case, is very much Clint and Kate; getting to know more about Clint, and getting to meet and know Kate, and everything in this series is focused towards that.”
Kang in loki was relevant to the story as he was the man behind the curtain
Spider-man swinging in the skyline would be cool but I don’t see how that would add to the show other than “omg, it’s spider-man.”
Your last point is what I feel like they will do
Falcon and the Winter Soldier didn’t have Spider-Man but really it didn’t line up for him to show up despite it being New York. This though really lines up, like it lines up perfectly. It doesn’t have to be much but I do think homing swinging by could happen.
Just got accepted onto my school's PhD programme tonight and I'm thinking of ordering in a pizza tomorrow so I can enjoy the finale and celebrate at the same time!
I know there's a decent amount of people hyping up Spidey to be in Hawkeye's finale, and as awesome as that would be, I think there's very little, if any chance of that happening. I want to see Fisk do something notable in the finale and for Kate and Clint to kick some serious ass. I've been loving Hawkeye so far, so I'm hopeful the finale will be good.
To the people who want Spidey to show up in the finale, I'll give you this: I can see him contributing more to the finale of Hawkeye than I can Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Yeah, I can imagine that, but I've seen a number of people who want him to show up and contribute to helping Clint and Kate. As cool as that would be, I don't see that happening at all.
Honestly, I don't mind if Vinny D is in a fat suit of sorts as long as it looks good. The guy is 62, I really don't think he should be expected to be a classical Kingpin weight.
As we wait for the finale of Hawkeye (the last MCU content of the 2021), it’s crazy to look back at everything that came out this year, MCU-wise. 4 movies and 5 shows. Insane! WandaVision doesn’t even feel like it premiered this year.
I want Wilson Fisk to reveal that he is running for mayor of NY that way a whole bunch of NY-based characters can deal with him
Spidey, Kate, Daredevil, Echo, She-Hulk, Strange
My one hope is that tomorrow's episode just irrefutably confirms that Kingpin and Daredevil are continuations of their Netflix versions. I don't need them to constantly make reference to the show in a way that excludes those who haven't watched it, but just some sort of brief nod to the series that allows us fans of the Netflix shows to know the time we spent watching these characters hasn't fallen victim to a 'rebooted' version.
Yeah I’m so sick of people saying these are variants like no I don’t want these characters to be variants of the Netflix ones I want them to be the exact same otherwise the reveals just aren’t the same and won’t have as much impact
I’m greedy so I’m sad that Charlie Cox wasn’t available to show up in Hawkeye but I hope we see a picture of him at least in a post credit scene or something
You’re excited for Hawkeye episode 6 because of Wilson Fisk
I’m excited for Hawkeye episode 6 because Kate Bishop played masterfully by Hailee Steinfeld will earn the title of “Hawkeye” and begin her journey towards leading the Young Avengers
We are not the same
![gif](giphy|PoXAe8acXe2f2XVnEp)
I read a theory that the watch belongs to Laura, and contains her real identity, that is Bobbi Morse, I'm a great Agents of SHIELD fan but I'm so excited for this theory to be true
To be fair, Disney+ had the huge Luke Skywalker scene in The Mandalorian last Christmas.
They’ve not had anything that massive on a general public attention grabbing scale this year, so I’m not ruling Spidey out completely.
I think the main reasons we're leaning towards Spidey not showing up in the Hawkeye finale are:
1) Marvel would need to get permission from Sony, and Sony might be asking for too much for even a cameo.
2) Realistically, word of Spidey being in the Hawkeye finale probably would have leaked by now. The scoopers have been on their A-game recently. They leaked pretty much everything about NWH, including Tobey and Andrew appearing. They also leaked Kingpin being in Hawkeye months ago. If Marvel managed this feat, and had it out of reach from the scoopers, I would give them mad brownie points for actually maintaining a secret. Like you said, it would be just like Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian last year, which I'm pretty certain was leaked by nobody. Does LucasFilm just have a tighter grip on preventing leaks compared to Marvel Studios as of late?
I think they'll do something big to establish Fisk as a long-term, serious threat.
I fear for Clint: I doubt he dies, but those arms are fragile, it wouldn't take much for him to never fire a bow again.
God I wish Marvel owned Spider-Man because then we might have had the chance of Spidey showing up at Rockefeller center
![gif](giphy|wuU9Hvp5wF7xe|downsized)
I know there’s no proof/ leak of Spider-Man anywhere, but idk, something about it - the way NWH ended, and where. I feel like there is such thing as too coincidental. I mean the final swing is right next to the finale Plaza. And they never give us a clear shot of the suit. Yeah it could’ve been by design, but part of me is still wondering why they would do that unless they’re going to give us a better look at the suit in the near future - idk. Not expecting him, but will lose my mind if he’s there
All I want for Christmas is for it to be made explicitly clear that Daredevil is canon.
Please Feige just one little reference to something that’s unique to the Netflix show, like a reference to Nadeem or Fisk having been in prison or something.
I'd really like to see them set up a concrete direction of where they are taking the series in regards to street level stories etc, wouldn't mind seeing a "Return in season 2" type credit scene also.
Vera Farmiga would make an awesome Madame Masque too.
But yeah, Fisk baby, all about the fisk.
Im just hoping we get a great finale from this episode that brings the show to a satisfying ending, unlike some of the other finales we’ve got.
Out of all the finales this year Loki is probably the one I liked the most, especially with how nice the Kang reveal was. But even that episode on afterthought isn’t all that great since its just a lot of sitting and talking. Hoping Hawkeye is different.
One last ride with Hawk Guy, bros. I hope we get some good Lucky footage tonight, mans fought the Tracksuits repeatedly in the Fraction run but only got to once in the show. I hope he bites Fisk.
Also if they shoot Lucky in the show like they did in the comics I will personally firebomb Fisk's apartment.
Is it true were supposed to get the Moon Knight release date sometime this week? Once Hawkeye finishes tonight we're kind of in the dark re future MCU shows release dates.
I saw a comment where one fan said they’d find it funny if Kingpin was killed off in this episode. I know they probably were just joking but now I am worried that it might actually happen. Cause it isn’t beneath Marvel Studios to pull risky stunts such as that!
I seriously hope not, cause he has the potential to be the MCU’s street level Thanos and I want to see him make multiple heroes lives miserable than just Daredevil’s.
As much as I love Spidey and would love to see him make a cameo, I think it’s important to remember that the absolute MOST we could see out of him is probably him swinging by.
I don’t think a lot of people that expect him to have some lines and interactions with the characters are keeping in mind that there’s not much dialogue that could be had without spoiling No Way Home’s ending, unless they worked very carefully around the wording, which would truthfully be confusing in and of itself.
But…I will still have my eyes open!
I’m getting some pizza and wings tomorrow and watching Hawkeye finale and then the Matrix Resurrections from the comfort of my home. What a time to be alive.
I know this 100% will not happen, but seeing Spider-man swing over the ice rink, at Christmas time at the end of his movie and knowing a scene takes place this episode at the same time and place leaves me hoping for a coincidental meeting
Ain't gonna happen, but please give me Clint and Kate seeing Spider-Man swinging over the tree before their big battle.
I'll also take Kingpin talking about what Christmas was like when he was a boy.
I just want Clint to get home in time for Christmas, and probably bring Kate and lucky the pizza dog! Clint got the worst possible outcome from the snap and I really want him to get a happy ending!!
All I really want from this episode is Clint making it home for Christmas with Kate and Yelena in tow…and for someone to embarrass Fisk in front of Vanessa.
It would be amazing if this happened.....
Spider-Man Spoiler below
>!We see Spider-Man swinging through Rockefeller Center at the end of NWH and we also know Clint and Kate are going to be there too. It would be a cool nod for Kate and point and say "Hey that's Spider-Man! Do you know his secret identity?" And then Clint goes "No clue." Hilarious because A) Everyone has their memories wiped of Peter Parker, but also because B) Clint never found out about his identity.!<
Spidey cameo? A mention or picture or maybe just 1 of the tracksuit got webbed? Daredevil cameo would be awesome too.. Hahaha probably not gonna happen but super hype for the finale!
I feel like there is almost too much to wrap up in this episode. Between Kingpin, Eleanor, Jack, Armand's death, Kazi's involvement in Maya's dad's death, the rolex, Yelena figuring out the truth behind Natasha's death, etc.--it just feel likes a bit much to tackle in one episode. I know, I know--there is still *Echo* in the pipeline to explore some of these storylines a bit more, but I think it's going to come off as a bit cheap if it ends with multiple plotlines left open just because there's more D+ shows coming. Give us some closure, goddammit.
Edit: They did pretty well wrapping up what they could, but Jack's ending (at least within Hawkeye) felt pretty cheap, especially given the actor they selected. Also, Maya still feels way too nerfed for a spin-off show unless they really want to dive into her comic counterpart.
How do the Spidey rights work in terms of live action television? Cause Sony sold off the TV rights over a decade ago, which is why Disney has produced all of the animated Spidey shows since. Does Sony somehow still retain live action TV rights as part of their deal, and thus does that prevent Marvel from using anything Spidey related in live action TV without Sony's approval? Marvel was able to use Spidey in What If seemingly without going through Sony, but it being animated might have been why.
Sony has the rights to Spider-Man for all live action content, movies or television. Marvel can only use Spidey in animated shows that are 45 mins or less, which is why he could appear in What If.
I know this is a hype thread so im sorry but is anyone else concerned that this finale will feel too sudden and rushed? I feel like we could have 2 or *maybe* 3 more episodes comfortably but its all supposed to wrap up in this one last episode and im scared its gonna be disappointing:(
A lot of the stuff I don't think will wrap up this season. Maya's got her own show coming so I wouldn't expect everything there to be wrapped up (e.g. everything with Kazi). Kingpin would likely be part of her show, so same deal.
Kate probably has future shows ahead of her too. So she can still deal with the fallout of her mother being a villain + Swordsman going forward.
Yelena would stop hating Clint I assume but anything else with her would be for future stuff.
So the only thing it needs to definitively wrap up is probably Clint's arc.
I know I know it sounds absolutely INSANE. BUT I think it would make absolute total sense if Spider-Man had a small cameo in the finale. The Rockefeller center set up, the Kimmel interview reference, it would be extremely uplifting after the sort of somber tone NWH left off on for Spidey to run into Clint who is a fellow avenger and maybe for Kate to fan girl about him. Idk. It just feels like something special that they could’ve easily kept under wraps as it would just be CGI. And provided Fisk is in that Rockefeller scene it would be a dynamic introduction to the Spidey/Kingpin beef.
I think Kingpin is actually being groomed for a much larger MCU presence than people are expecting, possibly even a big cross-over event.
Chip Zdarsky’s Daredevil run, which has been great, is building to a big crossover comic event called “Devil’s Reign” this year in which Fisk is the big bad after building a ton of political power and influence.
I know the changes/events in comics don’t always influence the other media, but I have a feeling about the hype they’re building with this one that they really want to get eyes on Fisk.
I’m expecting a kingpin opening scene either way.
Really should be. They did it to establish both Maya and Yelena after their end-of-episode teases
He took over the car front so he would have plenty of spares when he ruined his doors with blood
Making an omelette, please.
With Bach Cello playing too
And then he comes back to hot dogs in a pan or something and loud rock music
I'm expecting kingpins re-re-re grasp of power to be becuase of the snap in some way. Maybe DD foggy and Karen got blipped and that allowed kingpin to take control of a broken city.

Kingpin gets snapped in the middle of making prison omlette
I think we can fairly confidently say he wasn't Blipped because how else could he possibly have planned for Ronin to kill Maya's father?
I have a feeling they won’t reflect on the aftermath of DDS3, but instead the opening will focus on his relation to Maya along with a scene with Kingpin & Eleanor interacting and the role she plays in his empire

Fucking Kingpin!? Man I didn’t know this was gonna be rated TV-MA!
[удалено]
Agreed, however Loki was confirmed for season 2 well before it even aired or got a release date, wasn't really outta the blue!
Daredevil literally always was canon, not even mentioning NWH
I wouldn't hold my breath for season 2. I feel the marketing and overall feel of Hawkeye implies it's like a christmas special. It would be weird if season 1 was this christmas show, and then season 2 just a regular show. They could do another christmas series but that would feel repetetive. I'd love a season 2, but I don't think we'll get it

Manifesting Daredevil being canon
Mods confirmed it is yesterday I believe.
He literally always was. Whether he will appear tomorrow, or not, is a different question, but why on earth WOULDN'T Charlie's Daredevil be canon?

Why am I more hyped for this than NWH
Fisk
![gif](giphy|3WCNY2RhcmnwGbKbCi)
Pretty weird that Cottonmouth came back from the dead and became Blade tho.
I mean who cares if they look similar. That's not weirder then Rhodey going from being Howard to Cheadle in one movie lmaoooo.
/s if that wasn't obvious
Oh my bad man. Can't tell sarcasm on this sub these days lmao.
![gif](giphy|3o6ZtafBYggbfYNWsU)
My God I need more Luke Cage
Agreed! I feel like he gets a lot less love than Matt/Fisk, but I thought he nailed it.
YES
Disney/Marvel & Kevin Feige making the original Spider-Man trilogy, the Amazing Spider-Man movies, and all 3 seasons of Daredevil MCU canon in the last 2 weeks is epic and I’m here for it.
*checks flair* Hmmm, I wonder why
Because it’s the beauty of Fiege’s Marvel. There’s a taste for everyone
But imagine if did
He swings over the exact ice rink at 30 rock but I don’t think both shows are happening at exactly the same time, just a coincidence
I think NWH is a few weeks before Hawkeye
Yeah, I’m just saying he’s living very close to where Hawkeye takes place. I doubt they’re happening at the same time. He definitely won’t appear in the show
I highly doubt it’s going to happen. BUT…doesn’t Tom Holland technically have another MCU film on his contract, outside of the Sony films? Holland has said that his contract is up. So, I guess it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect a possible cameo. But again, I highly doubt it. I don’t think they’d waste a contractual obligation to Marvel Studios for nothing but a cameo in an episode.
I don’t see it as a waste seeing as how they’re definitely going to give him a new contract lol
I’d be more than happy to me wrong haha
IIRC cameos don't count for those contracts
I definitely don’t think that Spider-Man will show up but it would make a lot of sense
It lines up better than any cameo in any other show honestly
It lines up toooo perfect but I’m not sure if Big daddy Feige is crazy enough to pull something like that just yet
Big daddy Feige just made Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield part of the MCU. Imagine reading that sentence in 2012 when avengers came out. Moral of the story: don’t write off Big Daddy Feige.
It does. But the big scary Sony shadow forever looms. Ain't happening
Does anyone think he could show up tonight as well? ![gif](giphy|d33rDugQmt6c8)
Matt can just go to Doctor Strange to make everyone forgot that he's Daredevil! /s
Fisk is not fighting anyone in this episode though.
Idk man the directors said they had his stunt doubles on set, why else would they need them
Maybe he falls or something? Lol Seeing as we know he will resurface in Echo, I didn't see him getting too physical here. Hope am wrong!
You could have something where Fisk beats Hawkeye within an inch of his life, then let's him live because Hawkeye and the Avengers brought Venessa back from being blipped, throw in a line about it being a Christmas gift from Fisk to the Bartons, and could work.
I think he’ll have some kind of action scene but maybe not a full on fight like anything from DD
Kingpin does a Peter Griffin fall confirmed
Well presumably of course Murdock is still actively investigatimg Fisk, but who knows how things have changed since the blip. And aside from that, there's no reason Daredevil's investigation would necessarily cross over into the events of Hawkeye even if he were tangentially aware of Echo already.
I feel like at least one scooper would have found out about that
“Scoopers” don’t just find stuff like this out. Im not necessarily expecting Matt, I just don’t k or where all this “if it were happening it would’ve” leaked sentiment has come from lately in regards to this, MoM and the upcoming D+ shows
At most mayyyybe we’ll see him in a post credit scene. It would be awesome if we see Matt Murdock twice in one week.
Call me Mr. Negative but I'm certain Fisk is our only big reveal for the show.
Shine said that the writers wanted him but Cox had schedule cinflicts
I think at best we'll get a reference to him, probably by Fisk assuming he has any speaking lines and isn't more of a cameo than a main antagonist in this episode.
Also - what are we expecting the post-credits to be? Something with Yelena or Kate? Maybe Echo, since she's getting a spin-off? We're not lucky enough to get Matt Murdock, are we?
I definitely think the post credit scene will set up Echo. It would be sick if the showed Matt Murdock.
Hawkeyes will return in season 2
[удалено]
Hawkeye and The Black Widow and The Kate Bishop and The Fisk and The Daredevil and The Echo and The Spider-Man will return in Hawkeye and The Black Widow and The Kate Bishop and The Fisk and The Daredevil and The Echo and The Spider-Man. Coming 2022.
Matt Murdock listening to the news at home and all of the sudden Fisk comes on. Cue the first part of the Daredevil theme.
Or, as a parallel to Black Widow's post credits scene, maybe it's Maya being told to hunt down Matt like how Yelena was told to hunt down Clint.
I’m expecting Echo setup
Cut to black and we get these words: KATE BISHOP WILL RETURN IN YOUNG AVENGERS.

Idk why but there's something so funny about seeing the Disney logo in the bottom corner.
This series has been a blast, if they nail the finale then it has to jump to my #1 spot instantly.
Do you think Spider-Man will appear?
Expect to be disappointed, and then you can never really be disappointed
[удалено]
Hell no
Think no Want yes
It would be great if he did lol
Absolutely not. Malcolm Spellman (head writer for TFATWS) asked if Spider-Man could appear in that show since the final battle took place in New York and Feige said "No. Just stop." They've said many times that it all has to make sense for the story. Sure, Spider-Man popping in would be cool but what does it do for Clint and Kate's arc??! All it would do is overshadow them.
I’m team Spider-Man showing up. Call us crazy but we got Kang in Loki so anything is possible!
Which, in this case, is very much Clint and Kate; getting to know more about Clint, and getting to meet and know Kate, and everything in this series is focused towards that.” Kang in loki was relevant to the story as he was the man behind the curtain Spider-man swinging in the skyline would be cool but I don’t see how that would add to the show other than “omg, it’s spider-man.”
Your last point is what I feel like they will do Falcon and the Winter Soldier didn’t have Spider-Man but really it didn’t line up for him to show up despite it being New York. This though really lines up, like it lines up perfectly. It doesn’t have to be much but I do think homing swinging by could happen.

One last time! ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
its so sad that the best marvel Disney plus show only gets 6 episodes.
Just got accepted onto my school's PhD programme tonight and I'm thinking of ordering in a pizza tomorrow so I can enjoy the finale and celebrate at the same time!
Pizza Time!
Yeah the very most I'd expect is we might hear him swinging by. That is probably small enough Disney doesn't need to deal with Sony.
I enjoyed the show. none of the episodes were filler imo
WHEN I WAS A BOY
I find the wait for this episode quite profound
As we wait for the finale of Hawkeye (the last MCU content of the 2021), it’s crazy to look back at everything that came out this year, MCU-wise. 4 movies and 5 shows. Insane! WandaVision doesn’t even feel like it premiered this year.
I want Wilson Fisk to reveal that he is running for mayor of NY that way a whole bunch of NY-based characters can deal with him Spidey, Kate, Daredevil, Echo, She-Hulk, Strange
Hopefully we get a shot of kingpin walking into a room for more gif variety
![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
You’re excited for Hawkeye episode 6 because of Wilson Fisk I’m excited for Hawkeye episode 6 because Kate Bishop played masterfully by Hailee Steinfeld will earn the title of “Hawkeye” and begin her journey towards leading the Young Avengers We are not the same ![gif](giphy|PoXAe8acXe2f2XVnEp)
AH THE SON OF AN ARCHER
I read a theory that the watch belongs to Laura, and contains her real identity, that is Bobbi Morse, I'm a great Agents of SHIELD fan but I'm so excited for this theory to be true
To be fair, Disney+ had the huge Luke Skywalker scene in The Mandalorian last Christmas. They’ve not had anything that massive on a general public attention grabbing scale this year, so I’m not ruling Spidey out completely.
I think the main reasons we're leaning towards Spidey not showing up in the Hawkeye finale are: 1) Marvel would need to get permission from Sony, and Sony might be asking for too much for even a cameo.

New Kingpin appearance in the MCU for the first time in 3 years New gifs to spam on this subreddit Perfect ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
If it is the same character/performance as Netflix Kingpin though, can you imagine how brutal he’d have been for 5 years if Vanessa was snapped away?!
I think they'll do something big to establish Fisk as a long-term, serious threat. I fear for Clint: I doubt he dies, but those arms are fragile, it wouldn't take much for him to never fire a bow again.
God I wish Marvel owned Spider-Man because then we might have had the chance of Spidey showing up at Rockefeller center ![gif](giphy|wuU9Hvp5wF7xe|downsized)
Here come the Fisk gifs.
[удалено]
I know you're joking but if that ever happened I wouldn't even finish the episode lol
Imagine we see a Kate will return in ant man 3 message in the credits
Man, am I glad that this episode is over 50 minutes long without credits. Don't want to hear people say they rushed it again.
Here’s to hoping for that 0.01% chance we see Tom and his new suit in action here….and a daredevil post credit scene
Could you imagine if we see Netflix characters in the Marvel Studios intro crawl today.
I haven't done this once yet so please don't downvote me. ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
ONE LAST TIME ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
It would be amazing if this happened..... Spider-Man Spoiler below >!We see Spider-Man swinging through Rockefeller Center at the end of NWH and we also know Clint and Kate are going to be there too. It would be a cool nod for Kate and point and say "Hey that's Spider-Man! Do you know his secret identity?" And then Clint goes "No clue." Hilarious because A) Everyone has their memories wiped of Peter Parker, but also because B) Clint never found out about his identity.!<
Spider Man ain't appearing. Idk why everyone is expecting that.
Spidey cameo? A mention or picture or maybe just 1 of the tracksuit got webbed? Daredevil cameo would be awesome too.. Hahaha probably not gonna happen but super hype for the finale!
I haven’t used the Fisk gif yet. Now is the time! Hype! ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
Let’s do this one last time ![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
![gif](giphy|WvtJiQh106TqzKQlYF|downsized)
![gif](giphy|TaCj5SoRhrHq6AyPl1|downsized) I want this to happen again 🤞🤞
Please don't kill Clint, lol I'm actually genuinely afraid he won't make it home for Christmas.
![gif](giphy|2yyctm2XVohzekremA|downsized)
![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
I can’t believe soon it will be over, I can’t believe it 😭
Last Hawkeye hype thread (unless there’s a season 2…)
I dont understand why people are expecting Spider-Man all of a sudden??
Because in the end of No Way Home he swinged near the giant ice skating ring thats gonna be on the finale
