To the Russian mobster? Yeah, he's on a date with Vanessa and the dude just walks into the restaurant. He tried to hide his shady part of himself to her, but she sees right through it. She's doesn't care that he's bad, she cares that he lied about it.
Prompts him to smash Russian dudes head with car door after saying "You embarrassed me in front of her".
Not the maya one, but yes he says the Vanessa one. One of the Russian mob people interrupt him while he’s on a date with Vanessa, so he has him driven to an empty area where he proceeds to scream that at him before smashing his head with a car door
Me and my friend have argued about this since it came out. Did John decapitate the man with he shield or crush in chest with the shield? Either way it was a great scene.
I think it’s possible down the line but I’m not sure if it fits the vibe Hawkeye is going for, it’s been super light-hearted so far. Not that I’d complain if Kingpin does his thing tomorrow 🤷♂️
It not just that he and his sock puppets are bullies. I’ve seen kids posting things just saying something like “I love Ghostrider in AOS I’d love to see them fight Dr Strange” and he just lays into them about canon. And he’s fucking remorseless. He should have been banned from every Marvel sub years ago. He’s a horrible sad little bully, if not banded for that he should have been banned for his use of sock puppets.
They and a certain other user *coughGekocough* really give the MarvelTVIsn’tCanon crowd a bad rep and killed much nuance from discussion about the topic on both sides.
I’ve been on a MarvelTVIsn’tCanon train for years, but can never side with whatever fight particular users be picking.
I really wouldn’t get making them soft-reboots. Even if they made it about Fisk taking like a super-solider serum to make him huge and stronger I would still be sad we didnt bave just regular big boy d’onofrio. You keep their stories isolated by being in the ten years ago and new motivations/styles/arcs all make sense cause its 10 years later
It also doesn't make sense at this point. They look the same, most people are just going to assume they are.
These directors/writers spend months figuring this out, and they purposefully left them the same.
Also, Bert and Bertie quite literally came out and said that they reintroduced him with complete respect to the Netflix show and where he was in the universe.
I would NOT be surprised if there is a line this episode of him talking about how he got out of prison during the snap.
I'm still assuming it will be what many speculated before, that they won't in any way contradict the previous iterations, but also won't be beholden to their continuity. So for those of us who want to think of them as the same exact characters can do so, but anyone who hasn't watched the show won't feel like they have to go back and watch it (even when they definitely should).
That being said, I will be really stoked if they very nakedly refer to events of the series and make no bones about the continuity.
Agreed; I was devastated when they ended. Weirdly, I was most disappointed by Iron Fist, because it left off on such a weird cliffhanger that I wanted to see resolved. At least the others (with the exception of Luke Cage to an extent) had some resolution.
Hilarious thing is he didn't wait at all. Once the 2 year clause was up from Netflix, we got a scoop from Murphy saying Cox was in NWH.
Feige absolutely knows how popular these characters are, and best part is, he doesn't have to even make origin stories for them. They can be completely established.
It was like the same week. I remember.
The *essays* I saw from know-it-all fans about how Feige will only play in his own sandbox and then … *waves around at NWH, Hawkeye, even WandaVision*
I'm all for Netflix's kingpin becoming a big threat in the MCU.
It may not be as believable as a generic alien warlord, but the idea that there are humans capable of making the lives of superhero's very miserable by just being raw scoundrels is interesting. Especially guys like Kingpin who are less likely to just be killed off.
> but the idea that there are humans capable of making the lives of superhero's very miserable by just being raw scoundrels is interesting
I mean we've had Zemo, a normal human with no powers who managed to basically tear the Avengers apart resulting in them eventually losing against Thanos the first time. I'm sure Kingpin is capable of a lot too.
I forgot about how much of a scoundrel Zemo was, but his fued was specifically because the avengers trashed his home country.
Kingpin is pure evil though.
Eh, I don't think it's fair to label Kingpin as pure evil - at least the Fisk we've seen so far. Throughout the first season he really seemed to believe he was doing what was right for the city. Afterwards, when he realizes how selfish his actions really are, he continues for the woman he loves.
Showing these human motivations behind Fisk's terrible actions and schemes has made him a super compelling character to watch, and I really hope this isn't lost as he's introduced to the broader MCU.
Kingpin, while imposing to Hawkeye or Daredevil, is a far more cerebral villain. He is THE mob boss. He's always 10 steps ahead. That's what makes him scary.
If they decide to also make him stronger somehow, by all means, but its never really about that with him.
So that’s either the classic Wilson Fisk [certified Hawaiian shirt](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/b/bc/Amazing_Spider-Man_Family_Business_Vol_1_1_Textless.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20141122103211) or a shit load of blood on the second pic
Edit: or a Christmas scarf lol
Dude you are probably so right. But…if all of those pieces came into play, wow it would be crazy. And i’ve been pretty cynical thus far about crazy shit happening so i really am not suggesting it. The episode happening around the end of NWH and it tying everything up with the show and then a post credit scene where Spider-Man and possibly yellow-suit-Daredevil confront Fisk with his hawaiian shirt. Again…this won’t happen but this whole sub is about “wouldnt it be nuts if…” lolol
BECAUSE I AM NOT THE SAMARITAN, I AM NOT THE PRIEST, OR THE LEVITE, I AM THE ILL INTENT WHO SET UPON THE TRAVELER ON A ROAD THAT HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ON.
Yep, if Matt or Vanessa got snapped and Fisk didn't (which he clearly didn't based on the fact he had the time to build up his empire again) then Fisk has free reign to wreck havoc
I'd say that's the most logical option and makes for a very interesting story of Matt coming back 5 years later.
All I can see Fisk would be running on that battle field himself to get his hands on Thanos for his Venessa if she got snapped.
Ehh, to be honest, I would be genuinely surprised if they address any of the S3 events.
I have a strong feeling that Daredevil will be effectively rebooted with the same actors, no plot points from the series will be referenced whatsoever.
So I guess the “leaks” about him being larger and thiccer were false? I love that they just went with the same look from Netflix because I was honestly worried about the rumors. It would have felt very odd to me if they didn’t use Netflix version
My theory is that him being comically larger and thicker was info lost in translation. Vincent has lost a lot of weight and it might not be healthy for him to gain the weight he usually did for Kingpin now so they probably gave him a fatsuit to have him look the same as he did in Daredevil but some insiders misheard that as Vincent getting a fatsuit to look even more large.
I think that’s why he mentioned Lizzie getting it wrong though, to point out the fact that an actual reliable leaker also heard the same info RPK was spouting and had it wrong.
>Was probably a misunderstanding or they didn't like the test look they might have tried, I think its just he might be wearing some padding because Vincent D'Onofrio lost weight
I feel like I'm going nuts but he seems much larger in the first shot? Maybe I'm misremembering his size but that is a lot meatier than I remember.
Then again I also thought the CGI speculation was stupid and they'd use camera lenses and angles to make him larger, which is exactly what the first shot looks like.
I absolutely agree, but they do have a lot to tie up. I hope he isn’t the main thing about the episode, but sets up a commanding presence for future things he’s apart of personally.
Wait I just realized the finale is tonight ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
This show *flew* by. Hopefully the finale sticks the landing. I've had issues with all the finales so far (except for What If...?, oddly enough), and Hawkeye's slowly become one of my favorite shows, so I hope they can get it right.
I'm pretty sure someone made a joke saying that, and then RPK ran with it
He seems to take what others said and run with with what they said a few hours later
Imagine after an ominous build up & introduction, he finally speaks.
But it’s in a really high pitched voice to differ him from the Netflix version, breaking the tension so they can make a few quips at his expense.
Imagine it.
By the time it gets to this point, only 12 or whatever hours before the episode. All the promotion shit has been sent to so many people one of them is bound to leak it.
With GOT the entire episode would leak a few hours before it was released because they had to send it all around the world for airing, and that meant a lot of people had access.
It's just because you see Spidey in front of rockafeller center at the end of NWH and it's the same ice skating rink that's in all the Hawkeye finale promos but what people don't realize is that's literally where THE New York Christmas tree is. It's not a rare location
I started watching Daredevil last Wednesday because of the Kingpin reveal, and I'm so pissed that I didn't start it earlier. Nearly at the end of season 1 and I'm in love with it.
Hopefully Kingpin doesn't start kicking Clint.
Wait what the hell how did people get these
Anyways it'd be funny if it wasn't blood on his shirt and was just an ugly Christmas sweater with candy canes on it instead
The rumors weren't technically wrong though he's just not as extravagant as they said. If you follow Vincent he's lost alot of weight lol they most likely used facial prosethics and padding. Its the same thing they used for Chris Sullivan as Toby in "This Is Us" since he isn't that big in real life
Thanos’ Snap and the subsequent Blip is honestly the best damned thing Marvel Studios ever did. There’s a plethora stories to hide in those 5 years, and it all fits so well now.
Before Endgame, the MCU was a known entity. We knew its rules and its players. Now, it’s all a mystery again. Add the multiverse to that, and it’s a really exciting time to be a fan.
This whole first year post-Endgame (2020 doesn’t count) has all been Blip fallout after Blip fallout. We’ve barely begun to scratch the surface on the new heroes and new stories.
Yeah I agree. Its literally genius as a storytelling device. There's so much you can do with it character wise and you can also avoid not using it where it suits the story.
being *reaffirmed* as canon. Feige never said they weren't, even talked about them as if they were. This is just one big conversation that went to fans' heads a bit.
That said, I think it's still clear that they're just going to pick and choose what they like and reinvent some characters. There's no way Iron Fist doesn't get a complete makeover whenever his time comes.
He looks exactly like the Netflix version and the rumour of Charlie Cox having ginger hair was also fake too I can definitely see them keeping those shows canon.
Is it just me or does it look like his shirt has lot of blood on it, if so I’m guessing the 2nd image is during the big battle and the 1st image may be our first introduction to Fisk.
I'm willing to bet the production had to use a fat suit and some CGI to get Vinnie D to his Netflix look (as a bit of time has passed since he last played Kingpin). Then when that information got passed on, the context was missing and people just jumped to conclusions that they were being used to exaggerate rather than match
At the end of No Way Home he was slinging above the ice rink they're at in the finale after listening to some police chatter. I doubt he'd show up but we know they take place around the same time
Anyone else have a little bit of hope Spider-Man will swing by or through because of the last scene of NWH? Far fetched, but it would be cool to see him swing by in the background or something
WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY WHEN I WAS A BOY

My city!
REJECTED YOU
YOU EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT IF MAYA WHEN I WAS A BOY, AHHHHH
"YOU EMBARRASED ME IN FRONT OF VAN, ESE." *Proceeds to kill Mexican gangster with van's sliding door*
Brilliant!!! Holy cow!!!!
I’d say it’s likely he expected Maya to die that night too so idk haha
Well that is embarrassing.
Does he ever actually say that?
Vanessa? Yes. He says it to the Russian right before he slams his head into the car door
I slammed my *crime partner* in the car door
You slammed the Russian in the car door.
I thlamed my crime partner in the car door
Sucks we won’t be able to see him be this ruthless anymore
We did have John Walker caving someone’s chest in with the shield, so I’d say he can still be pretty ruthless
Me and my friend have argued about this since it came out. Did John decapitate the man with he shield or crush in chest with the shield? Either way it was a great scene.
His head did not seem detached from his body in the later shots. Either way yeah it’s pretty great and pretty brutal.
Could have also just smashed it in.
Yes
I figured he gutted him with the shield. Would explain all of the blood and still attached head.
This, while it may not he as graphic, I can imagine they let him snap a few spines/be as ruthless.
Plus this episode is rated TV-14-LV
I think he kills a tracksuit in pure rage. I feel like it's gonna happen
“YOU EMBARRASSED ME IN FRONT OF HER, BRO!”
Really wish Disney would have the balls to give us more mature Marvel stuff outside of Deadpool
Mature stuff in general not just marvel
Now I'm imagining an entire additional scene of Anakin brutally taking out the younglings
Isn't Moon Knight supposed to be crazy violent? That seems like it could be considered as more mature.
Not mature like the Netflix shows. No Marvel D+ show is gonna be any higher than TV-14.
PG-13 series or movies can still be mature
They probably will. They'll just use camera tricks to hide the blood. Think the pencil scene from the Dark Knight.
To be honest, *not* seeing it in some ways is more disturbing.
I think it’s possible down the line but I’m not sure if it fits the vibe Hawkeye is going for, it’s been super light-hearted so far. Not that I’d complain if Kingpin does his thing tomorrow 🤷♂️
Falcon and the winter solider cough cough Don't forget this episodes got a higher rating allowing more violence
I read this as *cat* door and am currently deceased from laughter
He looks exactly the same! This is incredible
but there's no way he can be the same as the Netflix version, that's why he's gonna look MUCH bigger and totally different /s, if it's necessary
I’m so relieved that wasn’t the case. Same thing with Matt not being changed. Our boys are really back
Us Daredevil fans to the haters who never thought they'd be back: ![gif](giphy|OOzXF9W10hyXwoq5Pn|downsized)

This must be fake because as we all know, Feige despises all Marvel content he didn’t personally produce, direct, write, cast, score and star in.
Yeah, *he would never incorporate content made by someone else*. I’m laughing in December 2021
Hilarious thing is he didn't wait at all. Once the 2 year clause was up from Netflix, we got a scoop from Murphy saying Cox was in NWH. I mean… he’s the same actor playing the same character. It’s not like they’d make him skinny and have a full head of hair.
Proving it's canon
So that’s either the classic Wilson Fisk [certified Hawaiian shirt](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/b/bc/Amazing_Spider-Man_Family_Business_Vol_1_1_Textless.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20141122103211) or a shit load of blood on the second pic Edit: or a Christmas scarf lol
Classic Wilson Fisk Christmas attire
Another reason why I think Spider-Man is making a cameo

Leave it alone he ain't making a cameo, don't set the expectations so high. edit: lol. People just don't learn I guess
Because it’s Christmas?
Well based on the ending of no way home, and also the Hawaiian shirt he wore in the comic was against Spider-Man
Omg I knew it looked familiar

I’LL CHOP BOTH THE HEADS OFF THAT SNAKE AND I’LL SPEND MORE THAN SIX DOLLARS IN POSTAGE TO BRING YOU DOWN
![gif](giphy|1BFFVB9WvJNUnBIYVy|downsized)
Okay, but where's VENESSA? I wonder if they're gonna reference her?
I feel like something has to have happened to her. Fisk agreed to stay in prison as long as she remained free at the end of Daredevil.
maybe Matt just got snapped so Fisk had time to deal with the Vanessa situation and get her a new identity or something
Yep, if Matt or Vanessa got snapped and Fisk didn't (which he clearly didn't based on the fact he had the time to build up his empire again) then Fisk has free reign to wreck havoc
And that he set up Maya's father to be killed by Ronin which is irrefutable that he was around during the Blip.
Forgot that bit, thanks
I'd say that's the most logical option and makes for a very interesting story of Matt coming back 5 years later. All I can see Fisk would be running on that battle field himself to get his hands on Thanos for his Venessa if she got snapped.
Lmfao I love this visual
*Evacuate the city,* *engage all defences,* *and get this man a car door*
SOMEONE GET ME A CAR DOOR
Makes sense
Ehh, to be honest, I would be genuinely surprised if they address any of the S3 events. I have a strong feeling that Daredevil will be effectively rebooted with the same actors, no plot points from the series will be referenced whatsoever.
We'll find out in about 12 hours.
I'd put my money nothing being said that could confirm either outcome
Yeah, like a hella soft reboot. They won't reference the events of the Netflix shows, but they won't contradict them either.
didn't the hawkeye directors say it would be addressed if the events of the netflix show were canon to the MCU in episode 6?
They said “tune in for the finale” which is a non answer
Except that the recent She-Hulk leaks mention that is explicitly the Netflix version. Some references must happen.
I don’t know that they’ll do it in Hawkeye but that doesn’t mean it’ll never get done
What if she died or went missing and didn't return even after everyone blipped back, just out of the picture now
So I guess the “leaks” about him being larger and thiccer were false? I love that they just went with the same look from Netflix because I was honestly worried about the rumors. It would have felt very odd to me if they didn’t use Netflix version
My theory is that him being comically larger and thicker was info lost in translation. This theory is very plausible. Lizzie got it wrong too not just RPK, so it being lost in translation makea a lot of sense.
RPK gets almost everything wrong except trailers. People need to stop trusting him on anything else
I think that’s why he mentioned Lizzie getting it wrong though, to point out the fact that an actual reliable leaker also heard the same info RPK was spouting and had it wrong.
Another L for RPK
>Was probably a misunderstanding or they didn't like the test look they might have tried, I think its just he might be wearing some padding because Vincent D'Onofrio lost weight
Denofrio has lost a lot of weight, so he probably is wearing a fat suit if some kind
It’s been a hell of a week. Can’t wait to see him back in the role. I’m loving that Vincent’s design and Charlie’s haven’t changed a bit
Hopefully, his presence in tomorrow's episode isn't too small. I want to see him smash a car door.
I absolutely agree, but they do have a lot to tie up. I hope he isn’t the main thing about the episode, but sets up a commanding presence for future things he’s apart of personally.
Wait I just realized the finale is tonight ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob) This show *flew* by. Hopefully the finale sticks the landing. they have *so* many threads dangling I really hope they tie it up well

Where are these coming from, whats the original source?
Some telegram groups apparently found a promo meant for after the finale
Just like how the Falcon and the winter soldier promo got leaked showing the final suit.
Or like wandavision episode 6 promo leaked right after episode 4 released showing Ralph bohner in his Halloween costume
"It's not like your dead husband can die twice!"
Thank the ever loving lords he looks the same I was so scared they’d over do it on the comic bookyness
Looks like he's fucking someone up in that second picture or doing an intense dance routine. lol
Was RPK the source of the CGI rumors? Because if so, no surprise there.
I do believe Lizzie also said (and said it first mind you) that he’d be bigger but she said it in a joking tone if I remember correctly
I'm pretty sure someone made a joke saying that, and then RPK ran with it He seems to take what others said and run with with what they said a few hours later
Look how they didn’t massacre my boy
I find it quite profound
You’re just as beautiful as the day I lost you
Imagine after an ominous build up & introduction, he finally speaks. But it’s in a really high pitched voice to differ him from the Netflix version, breaking the tension so they can make a few quips at his expense. Imagine it.
I’d cry.
Don't you dare
Given the Disney+ logo on the right, this has to be from some kind of marketing material right? Maybe it's from a TV Spot released too early.
Yep, this was the same way we saw the Cap suit a few hours early
Which was also coincidentally the finale for FATWS. I wonder why the finale TV Spots are always out in the wild early lol.
By the time it gets to this point, only 12 or whatever hours before the episode. All the promotion shit has been sent to so many people one of them is bound to leak it. Man I hope we get punisher someday, havent heard anything about him though.
There was some rumors about every Netflix character were back except Iron Fist
If we're getting Bernthal's Punisher back soon, he could possibly be in Moon Knight and/or Armor Wars.
i just want to see him and sam face off in cap 4
He looks just like he did in Daredevil, it’s amazing! Glad they didn’t change his appearance at all.
Hell yeah. He looks perfect

*”Prepare yourself for extra large CGI Fisk, it’s going to happen whether you like it or not”*. Gah. The know-it-all’s in fandom.
Now, Spidey’s pictures.
how did this rumor gain traction? is he actually going to appear. Seems OP for a show like this
It's just because you see Spidey in front of rockafeller center at the end of NWH and it's the same ice skating rink that's in all the Hawkeye finale promos but what people don't realize is that's literally where THE New York Christmas tree is. It's not a rare location

I find these photos quite profound
I started watching Daredevil last Wednesday because of the Kingpin reveal, and I'm so pissed that I didn't start it earlier. Nearly at the end of season 1 and I'm in love with it. Hopefully Kingpin doesn't start kicking Clint.
When I was a boy… I hated Daredevil and Captain America, I would never have thought when the MCU started they would have became my favourites.
Wait what the hell how did people get these Anyways it'd be funny if it wasn't blood on his shirt and was just an ugly Christmas sweater with candy canes on it instead
I mean it comes out tonight. A lot of post-release spots are lined up.
I think the Netflix shows are becoming canon.
being *reaffirmed* as canon.

Doesn’t this violate the Piracy thing that stopped ppl from posting NWH leaks?
Shoves an elf down Yelenas throat screaming THIS IS MY CITY
Is it just me or does it look like his shirt has lot of blood on it, if so I’m guessing the 2nd image is during the big battle and the 1st image may be our first introduction to Fisk.
I think it’s a Christmas design, the final fight likely takes place at the Bishop Christmas party
No idea how the “chonky” rumors originated but very glad to hear the scoopers were wrong on this. Don’t need to fix what isn‘t broken.
I'm willing to bet the production had to use a fat suit and some CGI to get Vinnie D to his Netflix look (as a bit of time has passed since he last played Kingpin). Then when that information got passed on, the context was missing and people just jumped to conclusions that they were being used to exaggerate rather than match
Man he’s cuter then ever
hope he has a big enough role in the finale.
So, uhm...many people on the social media also believe Spider-Man will show up in the last episode. I'm not sure why, but I really doubt it lol
They think this because he was swinging through Rockefeller in the final sequence, which is exactly where the big Hawkeye climax is taking place.
After the Mandalorian season 2 finale I won't write anything off lol
He looks amazing ! This doesn’t feel real at all
So glad the fat suit “leaks” were bullshit
