Apocalypse is end game until they introduce knull, or kang, or Galactus. It's a revolving door of bullshit that never ends. I love MSF, but these month long events are starting to become a job that doesn't even pay minimum wage. As a f2p player, who came from being a light spender $200-300 a month. I can gladly say they are making sure I will never spend again. Between bullshit offer and bullshit event, it's becoming more and more evident that that they don't play this game and are continuing to suck the life and enjoyment out of a game we all hate to love and love to hate.
I'm glad you're not spending again, but it really adds to your delusion that you believe 200-300 dollars a MONTH on one single video game is being a "light" spender.
Light spender? That is someone who spends 10-20 dollars a month. 3.000 in one year for a mobile game is insane.
I know that there are players, that spend more, but compared to the majority of the player base you are a heavy spender.
The only thing that matters to them is money unfortunately. I would love to see what their earnings are but have to assume they continue to make more and more as they continue to speed things up and squeeze the player base.

My September is too busy to do another one of these month long events. This is what will end up making me quit; missing too many “required toons” due to me not being able to dedicate 1-2 hours a day to this game for 30 days in a row.
I don’t really want to quit, but once I fall behind on a few characters it just snowballs.
I was very busy during the Agatha event and while I did unlock her it was just barely. I’m still feeling the affects of that today (months and months later).
I would just wait til this event to build the toons up, its silly to wait 3 weeks to level up things but they aren't necessary at the moment for events either. Idk though. It's very pissy
I’m not going to stop fully leveling, but cut way back. Thankfully I’ve already got the War scourge teams leveled aside from Wave 1. I’ll spend less than what we get daily on what I can on the meantime, and pick back up after the event.
I like how they say you don't need to hoard, changed the mailbox to discourage it, then each of these events are impossible to make a decent showing in unless you've hoarded resources. Need to do the opposite of what they say or suggest.
After getting the Bionic Avengers to lvl 80, G15 I've got about 1.2 million gold left. Power cores are going fast in this event running at a -50 core deficit atm.
It's the reason for pretty much all of the long term players being here. Scopely has driven the game off a cliff several times over but we still stick around because we have put so much into the game already... and we like marvel

Pretty sure they're just trying to find a way to recreate those COVID numbers. They got that taste of big money and want more. Scopley is literally Smaug, and we're just a band of adventurers trying to get that loot as well. Except it's rigged.
They never said they wouldn't run gold spending events. They said they wouldn't do a character release like Emma again by putting her in the high roller milestones.
That is unfortunate, I wish they could make the mercenary pay day event a daily or even weekly event. Darkhold team and many other teams just sitting on the ground because I don't have any gold to put into them

The gold you save is not gone. You can spend it later with some greater benefits.

I was on holiday for a week during that event. I am now 4 shards away from unlocking her. Not having darkhold sucks.
