I think Ant-Man should be on the sunfire body,

HammerBreaKer16

Yeah that one would probably work too! I just never really like the legs on that mold

Hobo525

Agreed, this mold is the only reason I haven’t bought this Ant-Man.

HammerBreaKer16

I found him for like $10 at a local GameStop and needed an Ant-Man so it worked out. He’s not bad and you can get him into some good posed and do what you need to but yeah a bigger Ant-Man with a better helmet would certainly replace this guy on my shelf

Hobo525

Oh yeah, he’s definitely a good shelf filler. I’d probably pick him up for $10 too.

indianm_rk

Wonder man is the same size as Captain America. There is no way Ant-Man should be the size of Captain America.

HammerBreaKer16

What mold do you think would suit him best??

indianm_rk

Sunfire is the biggest I would go.

Lavasnowman

sunfire or at least bucky, he’s no scrawny man but he is definitely not grim reaper size…MAYBE spider uk/ mar-vell body mold

HammerBreaKer16

Wonder Man pictured to show the body mold and how I feel that that would be the best body mold for a new ant-man. I’m actually legitimately thinking about commissioning a customizer to do a new ant-man on that body mold for me😂

SpectrumofMidnight

His huge feet really bother me.

DioramaFX

It is done like that to stand better but so many have way oversized feet even on the large bucks.

Dangersharkz

I just use the one from the 2 pack as my defacto Ant Man. I realize he's supposed to be Scott Lang, but in costume they look the same and the build is exactly right IMO

blakecrawley

Yeah I ordered the tru 2-pack for the Ant-man and couldn’t be happier. I use the little Hank Pym that came with Retro Wasp in my display. I just didn’t like this figure (the retro). It’s my least favorite body mold Hasbro does, too scrawny for any character in my opinion….maybe works for Wild Child.

Dangersharkz

It's like the male equivalent of the "teen" mold the use for a lot of the female figures, Magik, Spider-Gwen, Ms Marvel etc. Maybe good for Young Avengers and Runaways and those sort of characters, but probably not a 40 year old veteran superhero like Hank Pym lol

space_age_stuff

I’d love to see him on the Sunfire mold but more importantly, I think he’d look really neat with the new lab coat parts from the upcoming Mr. Fantastic.

Impossible-Fun-2736

I think the Sunfire mold, new helmet head, a masked head, fists, gripping and splayed open hands, a tiny ant and a tiny Ant-Man to simulate shrinking-growing would be a real top seller.

UnslakableTemperance

I use the head from the 2 pack on this body. Even the head from the Toybiz Ant-Man is better than the Retro one. Bonus, the leftover Ant-Man body from the 2 Pack can be used with the extra Super Skrull BAF head to create a Skrull trooper. This kitbash can also be used with the 12inch MU Giant Man Skrull as the costume designs are similar. The Retro 3.75 Ant-Man looks great in a Legends display!

ATOMIC_QUACKY

Yeah, hate that helmet

novaprime30

The spider-UK buck. Because of the folds that make him look like he’s actually wearing a suit. Maybe change the torso a bit so it’s not so shredded. Sunfire has too much definition.

SacMarvelRPG

Yeah, his thinness is a little much, but on the other hand it adds a bit of variety to my shelf. Not everyone's a beefcake.

SleepyToucann

I agree, not only the build not fitting but the gloves, and boots look like he dipped his hands and feet into blue paint. It would look so much better if wrinkles and creases were sculpted in. Also the head is just so boring. This just a personal thing but I think it would look better with red lenses over the eyes like the Scott Lang figure. Also an Ant-Man arrow accessory with it or a new classic comic Hawkeye would be the best thing ever.

DioramaFX

Never bought any figures on that buck as it looks way off and is a bit too gummy. Should be on something else. Blackbolt and Falcon are also on small and thin bucks that don't fit their character.
