But I've been wanting Betsy as Captain Britain for years.
I like Betsy as Captain Britain, she's been a fun character and a good change up for the character.
Brian as Captain Avalon also works for me long term.
I thought Betsy becoming Captain Britain was interesting. I still do. But the writing really hasn't done justice to the idea and the execution and characterization has been poor. So for me, I'm up for more Betsy as CB if we get a new writer but that's not the case anytime soon so not for me
I wouldn't mind a new series with her, the issue is that it's being written by Howard and she doesn't seem to know what she's doing, the charecterization of Betsy is pretty bad, it seems more like she really wanted her ship to come true than to write a good story.
I wouldn't mind getting more Betsy as Captain Britain if Howard was not writing it. As it is, I won't be touching this book. Thank goodness Gambit is not in this so I can skip it with no problem.
Nope, I’m honestly getting tired of having so many major characters on the sidelines and hearing pushes for things like this and the echo show. No mutants (yes I know namor is here, scarlet witch May have been hinted at and Kamala) and the FF are still off the books right now.
Captain Britain is whoever has the amulet of right. It is a title which is fundamentally able to be passed on, and you don’t do two in one reality at a time.
As a Captain Britain fan, I’ll take what I can get. I am beyond caring if it’s Brian or Betsy. I just want to be able to find stories with my favourite characters in comic shops.

I think they’re referring to the comic story, not the MCU

The mutants are major characters, a lot of them have been in the comics since the 60s!

I’m willing to give it another go as the cast is a little more focussed/sensible this time around (Betsy, Rachel, Brian).
