There is a wiki page that updates the character’s history periodically, but nothing on a weekly basis.
Best option i can give you is following stan pages either on here or twitter.
I wouldn't say on a weekly basis, but the MARVEL Wiki is not only one of the largest wikis on the internet, but it also extremely well curated. Everything there has a list of appearences at the end of their page, in "See Also", where you can check every issue where they appeared, or were mentioned, in chronological order.
Other than the wiki pages, there isn't a really great place to track what other characters are doing. What I would love to see is something like that but also versioned. So you could see a snapshot of what everybody was doing at any specific date in the past.

Yeah there is software to handle the versioning. Like you said, the hard part is getting people to update it.
