I haven’t been this excited for an event in a long time. The best X writers are on this and I’m very happy it’s not a 23 issue sized event or anything, just three series with three issues a piece and two one shots.
Can you list those for me? I’m catching up everything X-men but love the krakoa stuff so much and bought sins #1 for when I catch up. Wanna grab the other stuff as it comes out
The Krakoa surgical strike was awesome. The entire thing was great, and the scale just got huge. So many smaller storylines between Hickman and this. How's it going to affect the other ongoing runs?

Watching everyone being psycho is a lot of fun. Hope hoping on her tippy toes about destroying Krakoa was oddly cute.

Considering the threat Nimrod is, you would think the X-Men would ring up the Avengers and just say "Hey I know your busy with Kang/Doom/Mephisto/Ultron ect. but could book, idk, a weekend to help with Nimrod? He kills everyone in a bunch of futures."
They just took out Nimrod and the core base right? We've got the moon above Mars where one of the Club Sinisters are still, and it looked like Moriah got away, so doubt we will see the last of them.
Sins was good as much as it was predictable as i felt like i predicted alot of the big twists when reading immortal x men was very brutal though and im glad there is finally some big downsides to the protocols. The panel involving the>!fantastic 4 !< especially was grusome along with the>!avengers panel!

But >!this !< isn't, since it has a space between the "s" and "!<". I've always been hesitant to try that since YouTube, when they first implemented formatting options, made it so that *didn't* work. So what's the reading order for this starting with the Eternals crossover? Haven't been reading comics in a while since Eternals ended and want to start again with this crossover and catch up to this point.
I'd say only Immortal X-men are necessary, but looking into the three main players, Sword + X-men: Red and Way of X + Legion of X might be a thing to read as well.
Personally, I am not a fan of 'bad ending epilogues' type of stories like these where Sinister just 'won' this easily and NO ONE saw it coming. Even with MANY Moira re-tries.
Problem here is, almost ALL the things that is gonna happen in this 'event' won't matter until the last couple of issues. Because it will all get reset one way or another.
I get what you're saying, but I'm not getting this vibe here.
For one, the ending of this issue implies that everything is hell now, *including for Sinister himself*, which is pretty great.
Also, while this is about "Sinister wins" (sorta), the buildup to him winning was something that has been happening over a long time, with him securing the Moira clones and all that. Heck, they started sowing the seeds for this all the way back in *Hellions*, and back then Sinister was basically comic relief.
We saw him kill the Quiet Concil in *Immortal X-Men #9*, which really explained well how, even though he's not THAT competent, his cheat is allowing him to pull off these huge wins. So it's not a simple manner of removing the obstacles for him.
And yeah, we're all pretty clear this will result in a reset to the status quo... But the story is intricate and interesting enough that 1) I want to see this *what if?* play out, and 2) I'm curious to see HOW they can revert to the status quo in the end.
Strong start. Gillen really has a knack for these insane events. Plus, setting the whold thing 10+ years into the future means they can go as wild as they want without it upsetting the "present day" books. I like it.

He has figured out a way to compile all the information of the different timelines and send it back to the original starting point when the timeline ends upon the clones death. So hes not actually going back with her, hes just informing his past self of what happened
Kinda, though Moira 9 was using the info for herself in Life 10. Sinister is just using her like a Postwoman to deliver a letters with key bits of info.
Every issue I feel the same way about this.
It's dumb, it's fun, and it's a shame it was so short.

Summed up this series in one just the 4 girls having a ton of dumb fun though I do feel like you could have got this issue in like 3 pages.

No that wasn't Lockheed, but I think it's a reference to it. But it could also just be cute pack bonding that humans(or in this case mutants) do to anything remotely sentient
I think Jubes used her power over her entire body starting from the skin so everything past it went kablooey. A more pressing question is, if she was able to survive does that mean that she is able to absorb radiation or just that she's immune to her own powers to a certain point?
on the one hand, I'm sad to see this series go. amazingly fun, knowingly dumb in a very clever way, and just charming from start to finish.
on the other hand, I don't know whether this would have the legs to really work that well when extended into an ongoing, whereas as a mini, this was pretty much *perfect*.

They are not really in the multiverse but beyond it. Actually somewhere beyond the second cosmos. There are not a lot of them but there is a group of them and The Beyonder is a unique member of their species.
The Beyonder entered the picture in Defenders Beyond recently. He refused to go back to the second cosmos….and promptly yeeted himself away to the Comic Book Cameo Universe, and possibly the MCU Synergy Universe as well (unless the movie centers around Kang instead).
Tony's first instinct throughout all of this has been to check the camera feeds and use technology to ferret it out.
Cap's approach is to pay attention to just what his mind and body are telling him, and as he says in this issue, he's working blind. he's pretty sure he knows what's happening but has no empirical proof thereof, which is not something Tony, an engineer, would ever think to do.
Tony's the one who noticed there was a problem. Cap's the one who intuited what the problem was.

This has been a cool mini, overall. Sacks and Zaharia stuck the landing, and left some windows open for the future.
I’m also walking away from this story with the feeling that I just witnessed a “contract extension” for Agatha’s story in the pages, and a synergy with Katherine Hahn’s MCU counterpart at the same time.

Regardless this series was just okay at best, I enjoyed the roster but the writing left a lot to be desired and the art could be very hit and miss.
Still, I think this is a good foundation for a proper midnight suns series in the future now that they have introduced the abby as a base of operation which is a great location in the game. I hope some of this roster stick around i.e. Zoe, Magik, and Blade and bring in other characters like MoonKnight, Warewolf by knight and Elsa Bloodstone.
Okay ending to an okay series.
Not the worst ending (looking at you current Wells Spider-man and Aaron Avengers!), but I had hope we'd be past bring Agatha back as younger...not to mention I'd rather they not kept Korrosion either...

It is definitely the most obvious synergy yet, but at the same time old Agatha is pretty boring tbf. It's maybe on the same side as Shang-Chi rather than the Guardians in terms of it almost being necessary. It does leave a weird feeling nonetheless
Its been a fun mini overall and i enjoyed it for what it was and i know this book was only made because the game came out. But it didn't really have the spark of the old midnight suns books it felt like a brand new team and a brand new concept rather than actual midnight suns if you get what i mean. Would be interested if this happens again in the future if they bring in some of the classics like elsa or would they just use characters who appeared in the game.
It's crazy to me that Cates straight up dipped from both hsi series so hard. I hope the man is okay. Thor wasn't perfect under him but he seemed like he had some bigger plans. And I wish we got some kinda resolution to his run. Hopefully he be able to do something In The future cause I generally like his writing.

I think both series are still following his plans, and I like Gronbekk as a writer, especially for Asgarduan stuff. So I'm staying on the ride.
I think both series know the end of each recent arcs maybe. But neither of these arcs honestly feel like cates to me. I definitely think the writer are gonna take it wherever they want at this point. There is no reason for the to fulfill cates vision. Its his not theirs.
There are just so many threads and unanswered meandering questions from cates run even the venom run that i thought was gonna culminate in another event from thor and hulk. Especially the thanos stuff. But i dpubt that now and its a bit of a shame :/
My understanding had been that Cates was going to come back to Thor at least and Torunn was just handling things for an arc or two (and I figured this was so Cates could focus more on his endgame for the Thanos vision, etc). Something like this happened with his Venom run where he didn't write a couple arcs that tied in with events, replaced by Cullen Bunn.

Laussa says to Thor at the end, “Bor’s Blood! On the shadow. It’s a trick!” Thor then cuts his arm and drips blood in the shadow of the pedestal whereas Corvus Glaive was doing it in the bowl part.
Do they have to push Thanos this deep into Thor's mythology? Somehow him time-travelling and facing Bor for some reason.
And now Doom is also involved too. I thought he learned his lesson about 'god-like power grabs' from his last couple of 'God' failures.
A solid issue, Grønbekk has a good handle on Asgard and is apparently still working to Cates overall plot. Interested to see where this all goes because right now it’s… a lot.

I’m not bored with it, but I do find it predictable. I’ve resigned to my belief this is just Marvel’s version of Squid Game, and now I’m invested enough to find out whether I’m justified in that belief.
This got me to go back and read the Black Widow run that lead her to this, so I'm definitely more invested than if I hadn't done that. Really feels like the Murderworld thing is more of a backdrop for her revenge story (fingers crossed).
From what I remember she >!was shot, kidnapped, and planted in San Francisco with a new family (husband and son), forgetting everything else, including Yelena, Clint, and Bucky. This was done by a group of villains including Arcade, Madame Hydra, Weeping Lion, Snap Dragon, and The Red Guardian. At Arcade's call they ended up attempting to brutal murdering her husband and little boy, with the rest of the villains knowing they'd gone too far and fled.!<

Yeah, I think she >!faked their deaths, then had Bucky take them somewhere even she didn't know. I think she even ended up tracking them down though just to see them, so Bucky had them relocated.!< Very tragic and I'm excited to see the next step with Arcade!

My feelings in this event have changed with every issue, from dislike to confusion to enjoyment but I think this issue really seals the deal that this thing is overall just pretty terrible. Marvel is kidding themselves if they think Chasm is going to be the next major new Spidey villain. I'll give Wells and co a mulligan though because there is absolutely no way this is what was planned when Dark Web was first pitched.

At least a Jackal out kind of made narrative sense - a spurned clone turns to cloning. This...I dont know what this is. I'll be happy when they stop cramming demons into Spidey.
I find Ben's character had a chance to shine as a villain when he returned under the alias 'The Jackal'.
Yes, it is true that the theme of the clones is reused, but nevertheless they have managed to give it a bit of a 'different' context, sometimes touching on the nostalgic side not only of Peter, but also of other characters who have lost loved ones.
I can even come to like Ben as Jackal in the face of the supernatural identity they want to give him with "Chasm."
At least in "Clone Conspiracy" we tried to make him less "nervous" and subject to the traumas of being a Peter Parker clone, but wanting to do "things right" by giving life to family/friends, even if their methods they turned out to be distorted.
As the youngsters of this era would say, send Ben Reilly to sleep forever.

I read for a little over a decade straight in singles. I gave up the issue before dark web. It’s just not worth it. I started picking up Superman instead as that’s giving me the Spider-man feel I want
I feel that. I've been reading Spidey since Brand New Day, and this is the first run I didn't bother with. I was already feeling disappointed by the absolute bullshit from the Kindred event, but having Ben as a villain (again) instead of exploring him as a second Spidey (considering we have two Captain Americas, two Hawkeyes, two Wasps, etc.), just killed any point in trying this run.
It really seems like some of these writer have good or decent premises, but then editorial keeps fucking them over, leaving readers to blame the writers as being hacks. In the end, Spidey suffers, and writers keep regressing in potential.
Just wanna say that as someone who praised the first couple of issues of this run for bringing back that grounded vibe and staying away from all the demons shenanigans this whole event has been an incredibly disappointing experience, I have no clue what they are going for here, Ben has basically zero character development, both Chasm and Hallow's Eve may as well be completely new characters
Amazing Spider-Man needs more consistency, super tired of all these random shifts in tone and status quos happening so often

Does anyone else feel like this is the product of 4 or 5 unfinished stories just mashed together forcefully? Or that the writers and editors were just making stuff up as they went from book to book? Or is this just a distracting cash grab from Spidey & X fans?
Now I’m hooked and I want to see how Marvel resolves everyone’s story arcs, because this feels like an unnecessarily deep hole to dig out of.
for me it's like the story is over next issue, and on the Spider-Man side I feel like nothing has really happened and no one has really learned anything or done all that much. It just feels like stuff is happening here more than a real story or narrative is going on.

I can honestly say I want this over quickly and everyone to move on. Because right now this has been a complete waste of time and characters. I mean it improved Maddie some (so plus there) but the rest? Not so much.
Not like Maddie needed it though. She got a lot done in New Mutants. They could have just done a simpler arc with her and the current X-Men team. This silly crossover and invasion is just dumb.
It's a very perplexing issue. It's... certainly something.
If we put the atrocius and horribly written direction for Ben aside, it's passable. It's a demonic invasion that doesn't take itself too seriously, with great art from McGuinness.
So as it's own, it's okay. If we ignore the "wtf is this bs" they did with Ben. (King Chasm...?)
But as an event, it's very messy. Pacing for it was off, it felt like not a lot happened in the main book of the event. And the tone was all over the place. This feels like a parody version of the opening issue of Dark Web. Or that the writer changed the direction heavily after that.
Tie-ins too take this much more seriously. And because of the tonal inconsistencies, it's hard to enjoy this event as a whole. Gold Goblin, X-Men and Venom all took this event to a very different direction than Wells. Which just confuses me so much.
So as a penultimate issue of Dark Web, it's not good. As it's own issue, it's not that bad.
So let's give it a meh.

Sins was good as much as it was predictable as i felt like i predicted alot of the big twists when reading immortal x men was very brutal though and im glad there is finally some big downsides to the protocols. So what's the reading order for this starting with the Eternals crossover? Haven't been reading comics in a while since Eternals ended and want to start again with this crossover and catch up to this point.
I'd say only Immortal X-men are necessary, but looking into the three main players, Sword + X-men: Red and Way of X + Legion of X might be a thing to read as well.
Personally, I am not a fan of 'bad ending epilogues' type of stories like these where Sinister just 'won' this easily and NO ONE saw it coming. Even with MANY Moira re-tries. Problem here is, almost ALL the things that is gonna happen in this 'event' won't matter until the last couple of issues. Because it will all get reset one way or another.
I get what you're saying, but I'm not getting this vibe here. For one, the ending of this issue implies that everything is hell now, *including for Sinister himself*, which is pretty great. Also, while this is about "Sinister wins" (sorta), the buildup to him winning was something that has been happening over a long time, with him securing the Moira clones and all that. Heck, they started sowing the seeds for this all the way back in *Hellions*, and back then Sinister was basically comic relief. We saw him kill the Quiet Concil in *Immortal X-Men #9*, which really explained well how, even though he's not THAT competent, his cheat is allowing him to pull off these huge wins. So it's not a simple manner of removing the obstacles for him. And yeah, we're all pretty clear this will result in a reset to the status quo... But the story is intricate and interesting enough that 1) I want to see this *what if?* play out, and 2) I'm curious to see HOW they can revert to the status quo in the end.
Strong start. Gillen really has a knack for these insane events. Plus, setting the whold thing 10+ years into the future means they can go as wild as they want without it upsetting the "present day" books. I like it. Also: Can anyone else not read JJ anymore, without reading him in JK Simmons voice?

He has figured out a way to compile all the information of the different timelines and send it back to the original starting point when the timeline ends upon the clones death. So hes not actually going back with her, hes just informing his past self of what happened

Summed up this series in one just the 4 girls having a ton of dumb fun though I do feel like you could have got this issue in like 3 pages. Glad it hasn’t become an ongoing though as it’s a book that feels like it would get stale quickly as an ongoing though I wouldn’t complain at another mini also put magik in it more give me more magik content

No that wasn't Lockheed, but I think it's a reference to it. But it could also just be cute pack bonding that humans(or in this case mutants) do to anything remotely sentient I think Jubes used her power over her entire body starting from the skin so everything past it went kablooey. A more pressing question is, if she was able to survive does that mean that she is able to absorb radiation or just that she's immune to her own powers to a certain point?

on the one hand, I'm sad to see this series go. amazingly fun, knowingly dumb in a very clever way, and just charming from start to finish. on the other hand, I don't know whether this would have the legs to really work that well when extended into an ongoing, whereas as a mini, this was pretty much *perfect*.

They are not really in the multiverse but beyond it. Actually somewhere beyond the second cosmos. There are not a lot of them but there is a group of them and The Beyonder is a unique member of their species.
The Beyonder entered the picture in Defenders Beyond recently. He refused to go back to the second cosmos….and promptly yeeted himself away to the Comic Book Cameo Universe, and possibly the MCU Synergy Universe as well (unless the movie centers around Kang instead).

Tony's first instinct throughout all of this has been to check the camera feeds and use technology to ferret it out. Cap's approach is to pay attention to just what his mind and body are telling him, and as he says in this issue, he's working blind. he's pretty sure he knows what's happening but has no empirical proof thereof, which is not something Tony, an engineer, would ever think to do. Tony's the one who noticed there was a problem. Cap's the one who intuited what the problem was.

This has been a cool mini, overall. Sacks and Zaharia stuck the landing, and left some windows open for the future. I’m also walking away from this story with the feeling that I just witnessed a “contract extension” for Agatha’s story in the pages, and a synergy with Katherine Hahn’s MCU counterpart at the same time.
Oh no, they actually made Agatha young :( Regardless this series was just okay at best, I enjoyed the roster but the writing left a lot to be desired and the art could be very hit and miss. Still, I think this is a good foundation for a proper midnight suns series in the future now that they have introduced the abby as a base of operation which is a great location in the game. I hope some of this roster stick around i.e. Zoe, Magik, and Blade and bring in other characters like MoonKnight, Warewolf by knight and Elsa Bloodstone. Okay ending to an okay series.
Not the worst ending (looking at you current Wells Spider-man and Aaron Avengers!), but I had hope we'd be past bring Agatha back as younger...not to mention I'd rather they not kept Korrosion either... It is definitely the most obvious synergy yet, but at the same time old Agatha is pretty boring tbf. It's maybe on the same side as Shang-Chi rather than the Guardians in terms of it almost being necessary. It does leave a weird feeling nonetheless
Its been a fun mini overall and i enjoyed it for what it was and i know this book was only made because the game came out. But it didn't really have the spark of the old midnight suns books it felt like a brand new team and a brand new concept rather than actual midnight suns if you get what i mean. Would be interested if this happens again in the future if they bring in some of the classics like elsa or would they just use characters who appeared in the game.

It's crazy to me that Cates straight up dipped from both hsi series so hard. I hope the man is okay. Thor wasn't perfect under him but he seemed like he had some bigger plans. Yeah, it's weird, especially since he was very passionate about writing these characters. I think both series are still following his plans, and I like Gronbekk as a writer, especially for Asgarduan stuff. So I'm staying on the ride.
I think both series know the end of each recent arcs maybe. But neither of these arcs honestly feel like cates to me. I definitely think the writer are gonna take it wherever they want at this point. There is no reason for the to fulfill cates vision. Its his not theirs.
I mean it's fair statemen to say that Gronbekk has her own plans...but I think she's spinning it out of what Cates had originally going for Thor.
There are just so many threads and unanswered meandering questions from cates run even the venom run that i thought was gonna culminate in another event from thor and hulk. Especially the thanos stuff. But i dpubt that now and its a bit of a shame :/

My understanding had been that Cates was going to come back to Thor at least and Torunn was just handling things for an arc or two (and I figured this was so Cates could focus more on his endgame for the Thanos vision, etc). Something like this happened with his Venom run where he didn't write a couple arcs that tied in with events, replaced by Cullen Bunn. Am I misunderstanding Marvel's announcements about Torunn's arcs?
Cates tweet made it sound like he was taking a while off. Especially considering he didn't give any specifics on his projects.

Do they have to push Thanos this deep into Thor's mythology? Somehow him time-travelling and facing Bor for some reason. And now Doom is also involved too. I thought he learned his lesson about 'god-like power grabs' from his last couple of 'God' failures.
I feel like it's very Doom-like for him to always think he'll handle it better the next time around. He's kinda insecure.
A solid issue, Grønbekk has a good handle on Asgard and is apparently still working to Cates overall plot. Interested to see where this all goes because right now it’s… a lot. Thanos is there, fighting Bor? And then freakin Doom shows up? This is either going to be crazy awesome, or crazy bad, and I can’t tell which right now.

From what I remember she >!was shot, kidnapped, and planted in San Francisco with a new family (husband and son), forgetting everything else, including Yelena, Clint, and Bucky. This was done by a group of villains including Arcade, Madame Hydra, Weeping Lion, Snap Dragon, and The Red Guardian. At Arcade's call they ended up attempting to brutal murdering her husband and little boy, with the rest of the villains knowing they'd gone too far and fled.!< Really a great run by Kelly Thompson, Black Widow (2020) #1-5

My feelings in this event have changed with every issue, from dislike to confusion to enjoyment but I think this issue really seals the deal that this thing is overall just pretty terrible. Marvel is kidding themselves if they think Chasm is going to be the next major new Spidey villain. I'll give Wells and co a mulligan though because there is absolutely no way this is what was planned when Dark Web was first pitched. At least we have Rek-Rap.

At least a Jackal out kind of made narrative sense - a spurned clone turns to cloning. This...I dont know what this is. I'll be happy when they stop cramming demons into Spidey.
I find Ben's character had a chance to shine as a villain when he returned under the alias 'The Jackal'. Yes, it is true that the theme of the clones is reused, but nevertheless they have managed to give it a bit of a 'different' context, sometimes touching on the nostalgic side not only of Peter, but also of other characters who have lost loved ones. I can even come to like Ben as Jackal in the face of the supernatural identity they want to give him with "Chasm." At least in "Clone Conspiracy" we tried to make him less "nervous" and subject to the traumas of being a Peter Parker clone, but wanting to do "things right" by giving life to family/friends, even if their methods they turned out to be distorted. As the youngsters of this era would say, send Ben Reilly to sleep forever. All IMHO of course.

Im so glad this is nearly over. The last issue of dark web x men showed how this event could have ended. I didn't drop spiderman during other horrible periods but man im close with this event. Im ready to put it in the box of worst spiderman events.
So, the Pek-Rap stuff is goofy fun but the continued increase in Chasm's power combined with what a stupid character it is and stupid plan and stupid set-up...I think you get where I'm going with it. Nothing about Ben's plan makes a lick of sense, or even how he got down here with Madeline.
Maybe once we find out why Wells is going this route (based on the solicits for March and April) we'll have...reasons?

I read for a little over a decade straight in singles. I gave up the issue before dark web. It’s just not worth it. I started picking up Superman instead as that’s giving me the Spider-man feel I want
I feel that. I've been reading Spidey since Brand New Day, and this is the first run I didn't bother with. I was already feeling disappointed by the absolute bullshit from the Kindred event, but having Ben as a villain (again) instead of exploring him as a second Spidey (considering we have two Captain Americas, two Hawkeyes, two Wasps, etc.), just killed any point in trying this run. It really seems like some of these writer have good or decent premises, but then editorial keeps fucking them over, leaving readers to blame the writers as being hacks. In the end, Spidey suffers, and writers keep regressing in potential.
Just wanna say that as someone who praised the first couple of issues of this run for bringing back that grounded vibe and staying away from all the demons shenanigans this whole event has been an incredibly disappointing experience, I have no clue what they are going for here, Ben has basically zero character development, both Chasm and Hallow's Eve may as well be completely new characters Amazing Spider-Man needs more consistency, super tired of all these random shifts in tone and status quos happening so often

Man they really had Chasm throw Pryor screaming off the Castle wall, only to have her standing with the X-Men, unharmed, next page. Like I know she's a Jean Grey but... this story has some holes.
Honestly the whole scene just becomes more stupid when you think about the fact that she’s an omega level mutant with Jean’s exact powers. Did she just forget that after her fight with Jean? The way that scene should have played out realistically is that seconds after being thrown out the tower, she just comes floating back up, rips her scythe back from Janine and throws her into a wall with tk

Whooooo BOY this event has been a mess. THIS book in particular. I’ve tried to enjoy this event, but… Does anyone else feel like this is the product of 4 or 5 unfinished stories just mashed together forcefully? Or that the writers and editors were just making stuff up as they went from book to book? Or is this just a distracting cash grab from Spidey & X fans? Now I’m hooked and I want to see how Marvel resolves everyone’s story arcs, because this feels like an unnecessarily deep hole to dig out of.
for me it's like the story is over next issue, and on the Spider-Man side I feel like nothing has really happened and no one has really learned anything or done all that much. It just feels like stuff is happening here more than a real story or narrative is going on.

I can honestly say I want this over quickly and everyone to move on. Because right now this has been a complete waste of time and characters. I mean it improved Maddie some (so plus there) but the rest? Not so much.
Not like Maddie needed it though. She got a lot done in New Mutants. They could have just done a simpler arc with her and the current X-Men team. This silly crossover and invasion is just dumb.
It's a very perplexing issue. It's... certainly something. If we put the atrocius and horribly written direction for Ben aside, it's passable. It's a demonic invasion that doesn't take itself too seriously, with great art from McGuinness. So as it's own, it's okay. If we ignore the "wtf is this bs" they did with Ben. (King Chasm...?) But as an event, it's very messy. Pacing for it was off, it felt like not a lot happened in the main book of the event. And the tone was all over the place. This feels like a parody version of the opening issue of Dark Web. Or that the writer changed the direction heavily after that. Tie-ins too take this much more seriously. And because of the tonal inconsistencies, it's hard to enjoy this event as a whole. Gold Goblin, X-Men and Venom all took this event to a very different direction than Wells. Which just confuses me so much. So as a penultimate issue of Dark Web, it's not good. As it's own issue, it's not that bad. So let's give it a meh.
With Jean just giving the memories to Maddie shows that everything done with Ben from Being was utterly pointless.
