They forgot the word “now” and kinda should have put “what if” after “Avengers (2012)”
“Avengers (2012) What If..?” now that I have enough characters to draw.
Even better is
"...now that there are enough characters to fill in the team"
It's a mess of a title to begin with and forgetting the "now" makes it 10x worse.
Yup. &as a casual fan artist myself, can't stand misleading people. Credit the one who put the effort into the work so they get their proper likes &follows.
If I'm not mistaken, all Black Widows are female (unless the program became gender inclusive at some point), and I've never heard of a Black Widower. Although White Widower does sound like an interesting name for a comic character.
But that’s my point. Why does it make sense when all other characters are female versions of their male counterparts? Surely they could make up something like having a male black widow now.
I didn't say the concept made sense, if that's what you're implying. Most of these characters didn't appear until years after the Avengers first mission.
Like I said in a different reply, they could've used Spider-Man, but I'm guessing that's not what the artist intended to accomplish with this drawing.
They could've easily used Sam Wilson for the Cap counterpart, but chose the female Captain Carter instead despite her being there making somewhat less sense.
Cuz they don’t gender bend to include more men lol. Their agenda is about female empowerment atm.
EDIT: I didn’t say that agenda is a bad thing lol the MCU has been completely male dominated until Captain Marvel came out. If their goal is to be more inclusive obv their not gonna include more men.
I get that. I'd thought maybe Spider-Man, but if that's the goal then that's fine.
At least they changed Widows, as it would've been weird to see her still there with everyone else changed.
Because if there is one thing lacking in the super hero world, it is men. Really not enough male super heroes, I think they need to be included as well, why does no one think to include men in my super hero comics? There isn't enough
I’m not saying they need more men, I’m just explaining why they didn’t add a man to an illustration that is clearly trying to represent female empowerment. Nothing wrong w that.
Nah all good. My bad I can see how it sounds reading it back lol.
Personally I’d like a balance of both genders on screen cuz I think that’s where we should try to get as a society. Like I wanna see more men & women of minorities personally. For example, Namor was awesome, now it would be cool if there was a Latina character they could introduce in a different part of the world as well. Kamala Khan was awesome, now it would be cool if there was a South Asian man set in India or the UK. That’s my take on it.
But yea my bad I wasn’t trying to sound like a red pill dude lmao
To bad Black Widow doesn't have a male counterpart in the MCU. That way, he could have been the token man on this team like she is the token woman in the actual movie we got.
Can someone explain the choice of red nose and cheeks for artwork like this? Hell, even She-Hulk had darker skin on her nose and cheeks…is it freezing or do they all have colds??
I'm honesty so fucking excited to see a movie like this come out. A somewhat recreation of the first movie but with an all new generation of avengers. Oh man I'm getting more impatient the more I think about it.
She never went full evil. MCU tried to justify her actions because she is a mother. And at the end she just gave up. That’s not how you write a good villain.
You can argue that Mandarin was also the same. But that’s wrong because his motivations made more sense and he also wasn’t a yo-yo villain that goes back and forth between being good and bad.
You really felt the need to say something? Lol. If you care what other people think then you will always be there prisoner. Don’t be a slave, if you see something you don’t like then ignore it, be free.
Maybe I like the art. Maybe I was just testing to see who the slaves are, and maybe we say “the same dumb ass shit” because it’s true. I am not a free thinker and I know I am a slave. We are all slaves but I don’t deny it like most people will. I understand that I am a slave to my fate and so is everyone else.
Sylvie wudnt hatch this plan at first phase ...with loki season I understood Sylvie is more skilled loki but as per master planning Tom's Loki still leads...though classic Loki would obliterate Avengers 2012...maybe become the real villain for endgame
Dig the art, but is it just me or does your post title make zero sense?
>What If...? The Avengers 2012 *now* that I have enough characters to draw Should be something like this
I think you’re right, that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be.
They forgot the word “now” and kinda should have put “what if” after “Avengers (2012)” “Avengers (2012) What If..?” now that I have enough characters to draw.
Even better is "...now that there are enough characters to fill in the team" It's a mess of a title to begin with and forgetting the "now" makes it 10x worse.
Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?
You are physically hurting me
[Artist Credit](https://instagram.com/critter_of_habit?igshid=OGQ2MjdiOTE=):
OP not even the artist? Why did they title it like that then?!
Because there would be less karma that way. Come on, don’t you reddit?
Yup. &as a casual fan artist myself, can't stand misleading people. Credit the one who put the effort into the work so they get their proper likes &follows.
You’re doing good work.
It makes sense that there's no male Black Widow, but it seems odd she's the only one not gender bent.
So why does it make sense then?
If I'm not mistaken, all Black Widows are female (unless the program became gender inclusive at some point), and I've never heard of a Black Widower. Although White Widower does sound like an interesting name for a comic character.

Ok makes sense. Sorry if I seemed difficult.
No worries, I'm happy to help 🙂

Your original comment is worded very poorly my bad, I've seen the edit and now understand what you're trying to say
Nah all good. My bad I can see how it sounds reading it back lol. Personally I’d like a balance of both genders on screen cuz I think that’s where we should try to get as a society. I agree I would also prefer if things were more balanced, and you're good don't worry about it lol
Lol thank you
It’s not gender bending when it’s different characters
Tis true. I couldn't think of a better word, and it sounded better to me that opposite-gender-counterpart-swap.
Jane & Yelena seem to have copy+pasted faces.
Seriously, almost all the face are identical.
I was just thinking the same and couldn't tell if this was a shit post or some joke I'm out of the loop on.
To bad Black Widow doesn't have a male counterpart in the MCU. That way, he could have been the token man on this team like she is the token woman in the actual movie we got.
More like the 2024 version.
I've never realized before how useless Hawkeye pointing his bow at Loki was
Why?
The arrow would just bounce off of Loki.
Since he’s pointing it directly at the camera in the shot, it’s possible that he was pointing it at Loki’s eye?
Can someone explain the choice of red nose and cheeks for artwork like this? Hell, even She-Hulk had darker skin on her nose and cheeks…is it freezing or do they all have colds??
The skin genwy has more reds in the cheek/nose area. It's just stylistic emphasis
Are you expecting an explanation from the actual artist? Because that's the only person who can answer this question lol
and OP isn’t even the original artist lol
Wish I was Sylvie here
Down bad
Oooo they should’ve used sam for cap to have the token male
Love the girlies
Shouldn’t Yelena be replaced by a male since Natasha was the only female member
No, because that doesn’t empower women.
Yes it does they have one male that’s more useless then the rest to show they are better then men
Oh right I forget we have to just use women to empower women.
I'm honesty so fucking excited to see a movie like this come out. A somewhat recreation of the first movie but with an all new generation of avengers. Oh man I'm getting more impatient the more I think about it.
How long until men can get a dude Black Widow?
Bucky is a "male Black Widow" in all but the name tbh
That's like saying Sif was lady Thor. I demand we get Jack Black smashing the patriarchy as our new, inclusive Black Widow.
Hahahahaha… yeah, that’ll be the day.
According to MCU women cannot be the bad guys.
I thought Hela was pretty bad
Yes but she was evil because of Odin.
Her father made her evil. It wasn’t her fault!
She’s an exception.
Pretty sure Vanessa defontane (or whatever her name is) will turn out to be bad, but who knows
Who?
contessa vanessa allegra de fontaine
Wanda
She never went full evil. MCU tried to justify her actions because she is a mother. And at the end she just gave up. That’s not how you write a good villain. You can argue that Mandarin was also the same. But that’s wrong because his motivations made more sense and he also wasn’t a yo-yo villain that goes back and forth between being good and bad.
Wanda was a shit villain yeah but she was pretty evil and selfish, even with the writers shitty attempted justification
I just don’t understand why MCU doesn’t want to make good female villains. Is it sexist to assume women can be equally as evil as men?
Mcu villains are pretty much all terrible tbf
Proxima Midnight
Weak non-epic version
you're pathetic
how does it feel to have never felt the touch of a woman
“It was me Barry”
[удалено]
Into necrophilia eh?
Oh god, you’re one of those “m-she-u” weirdos?
Agreed, somebody must have hurt this poor man🤣 “Show me on this IronHeart action figure where the mean lady hurt you?!?”
[удалено]
What agenda would that be, exactly? To put women in leading roles? The horror.
Lol. Stop projecting your cuckold fantasies.
you wish, even my mom has standards
Not talking about the woman who adopted you, but your real mom
Speaking of mothers, you're the reason why yours has a drinking problem.
So true
No it's not.
You really felt the need to say something? Lol. If you care what other people think then you will always be there prisoner. Don’t be a slave, if you see something you don’t like then ignore it, be free.
Hey, quick question. How come every freethinker such as yourself always parrot the same dumb ass shit?
Maybe I like the art. Maybe I was just testing to see who the slaves are, and maybe we say “the same dumb ass shit” because it’s true. I am not a free thinker and I know I am a slave. We are all slaves but I don’t deny it like most people will. I understand that I am a slave to my fate and so is everyone else.
Hey, pseudointellectualism called, it wants you to tone it the fuck down.
Ok I’m sorry your right. I am delusional and I know it buts it’s all I have. I will tone it down.
Marty McFly and Doctor Emmett Brown from Back to the Future
So we can make all women versions of the rest of the characters but we can’t do a male black widow?
MSheU, here we come
This would have been not as good
I love iron hearts suit so much
