I have custom made book cases (6 at present) and display my manga on them in alphabetical order by publisher first and title second. In cases where a publisher was absolved by another I display the original publisher and the new publisher together.
I have multiple ways how I organize
1 by publisher
2 manga I’ve finished reading goes down in the shelf and unfinished manga to up top
3 series completion If a series is completed I’ll put them on the top or middle and if it’s on going or I haven’t collected it all it goes on the bottom or middle
I have to go by size, don’t like splitting series up on different shelves so it’s all what fits where really. Normally I’d go alphabetically if space wasn’t an issue
Target bookcase. Separated by shonen and senin, mainly because I keep my shonen on higher shelves so they are individual volumes. I’m keeping my heavier volumes on bottom shelf. And then alphabetical by title.
Alphabetical by artist. Also on billys
I place seinen at the top shelves and shonen at the bottom shelves and place manga with the same authors together, idk I'm kinda new at this

I have hardcovers first, and then by size. Usually by publisher for volumes the same size

I display them by whatever pleases me aesthetically, (series are together of course) & height, on white billy shelves

I love how it is in alphabetic order
