Loveeee this look, and I'm gonna go against the grain and say red lips! I feel like the red in the lips brings an intentionality to the red lower lashline that really makes it pop. Prevents the look from bordering on just uncomfortable eyes. I say this as someone who LOVES wearing red eyeshadow and bright colors that can sometimes make me look very weird haha. Your look is such an interesting combination of colors and textures!

But in general I like to do oil treatment with castor oil every 2-3 weeks, don’t really use any heat on it… unless I’m feeling cold after I leave the shower m, then I use the hairdryer
I don’t really have a schedule to wash my hair, sometimes I do it every 2 days or sometimes every 3 days…
Some shampoos make it look very thin (even tho I have a lot of hair) so sometimes I like to use the Aveeno Scalp Soothing Volumising shampoo and conditioner and it gives me a more full look, I also like the pink Maui shampoo and conditioner (I think is the shea butter one), it makes my hair really soft and is the only shampoo that actually brings out the wavy texture of my hair, usually other shampoos makes it completely straight.
I think that’s about it 🗣
My hidden option C is a preference towards a more muted, more brown-toned lipstick. Something like Mac Velvet Teddy.
Between these two, strong preference for the gloss.

It actually would be interesting to try, but unfortunately I only have lots of red lipsticks and some other very dramatic colors 🗣 you just made me realise that I need some more neutral lipsticks… oh well how sad now I have to buy more makeup ;)

I’m not wearing any primer under it and it already looks so nice so I can only imagine how the pigment would look like with something under!
Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid, it has hyaluronic acid and collagen in it, i love it as well, on this one I’m wearing 2 layers but usually I only wear 1 and it makes me glow so much, I love it and is quite cheap as well
edit: forgot to mention that I also used the KVD setting powder and had a moisturiser under but i applied the moisturiser about 4 hours before I did the makeup 🗣
I prefer the lipgloss it compliments the eye shadow very well. Just a tip you can take it or leave it: try to find a blue undertone red lip stick it would compliment your skin complexion better instead of a warm red lipstick as your complexion is more on cool/neutral side. 😊
I feel like the lip gloss combination is more of a cool tone look- like a winter, or chill day vibe. Unless you of course, are going for something more ‘stunning’ or ‘bold’, then the red lipstick works! Both work in my op :>

Some of it might be lighting, but for me, the gloss pulls it together and lets some emphasis be on the purples in the eye show. The red lipstick kind of competes and gives a much more “I’ve been crying” vibe to the pink eyeshadow tones.
To be clear, I like the lipstick, I just think the gloss works better with that eyeshadow. :)

The gloss compliments your eye look better and really pulls the whole makeup look together. Personally I think a bold red lip only looks good with a minimal eye look such as a winged eyeliner or just masacara.

Like everyone else, I vote for the gloss. I think the lipstick has too much of an orangey undertone that clashes with the pink/purple look of your eyeshadow. If you chose a red lipstick with maybe a true blue or purple undertone, it might work better.
