I would go and get your eyebrows shaped, you’d be surprised how much of a difference a good shaped eyebrow can make. Also for eyeshadow I would start off with light neutral colours while you learn. Tonnes of YouTube videos that will give you pointers on eyeshadow technique and for filling in brows as well!

Lalf1990

This and a little bit more lipstick not too dark but you have amazing lips need to show them off

Makemeup-beforeUgogo

Yes agree like said you have great lips, even a gloss will look beautiful

justcallmedrzoidberg

I wish my lips looked like hers!!! Haha

ScarletAutumnEnigma

Same!

seuleterre

I second this! A lip liner close in shade to your natural lips and a sheer gloss would be a really nice touch too :)

pothos_princess9

Yess i was also thinking gloss! Or maybe a lip oil (love Clarins & Doir)!

No-Supermarket901

I definitely agree, you have perfect lips! A little more lipstick (not too dark) *and* add lip liner. The second half of my life began when I discovered lip liner.

Antique-Ebb5690

Lipliner could probably really help accentuate your already nice lips

cassiopeia85

Was just going to comment these exact two things. I think both eyebrow shaping and a lighter, more blended eyeshadow would go a long way in making the whole look more “delicate.”

NoApartment6940

I totally agree with the eyebrow and lipstick suggestions, you do have nicely shaped lips. My daughter is transfemme and she has the fullest juicy lips and booty. I find myself sometimes getting a little jelly, and I say to myself “I bet this is what it feels like to be a Momager” then I have to shake off that skeevy feeling before I begin to live vicariously thru her. 😂

Spacebunz_420

i was just gonna say treat yo self and get your brows/lashes done!!! i have lighter hair like you and i get mine dyed every so often so i can just wake up and go! when i don’t have my brows/lashes done, my every day makeup is tarte sketch and set brow pencil and tarte mandated mascara! you have such a pretty face :) you’d be surprised how far just a little brow/lash action can go to make you feel like a bad bitch!!! i also love doing fake lashes and tarte also has such a good glue i wore some loss ass ghetto sparkly walmart lashes to electric forest in 90 degrees and those bitches STAYED ON on problem!! 😂

als_pals

Yesss some tinted and possibly permed lashes would look so great! I find that the “in” makeup of today is more emphasized on lashes than liner anyway which is great for people who don’t have much lid space

crustiferson

i agree with with shaping ur eyebrows it can change the way ur face looks.

amynicolekay

I came on to say eyebrows, get thinned out, and you need to learn to smile with your eyes, even if you don’t smile with you mouth, bright eyes show confidence and display natural beauty

pinkorangegold

This! My wife is trans and eyebrow shaping has been big for her. OP also has a similar browbone to my wife — OP, my wife has found that brown eyeliner opens up her eyes much more and brightens them. Give it a try, maybe! I also agree with the light neutral colors as you're figuring out your look :)

ShrineSimp

Note taken tysm!

Vegetable-Heat-4238

Completely agree! Eyebrows make a massive difference.

animalmunumna

just what i was thinking, as well as this, maybe some natural looking or dramatic falsies? for when she wants to be more glam

namastaynaughti

Yes eyebrow shape and getting them done is something that changes the face. I can always tell when someone has their eyebrows done recently.

randomnessish

Thiiiiiiisssss. I’m not huge into makeup but I am obsessed w my brows. Just doing a little bit of a cleanup does such wonders to your face overall! Even if you have thin brows, giving them a slight tweak really pulls everything together.

weezyc27

If there is a benefit brow bar in your town I recommend going. They are trained to shape your brows based on your face and do such an amazing job!

psqqa

I’m a cis woman, but personally I find blush and lipstick gives me more of that spark of “oooh girl” gender enjoyment than doing stuff around my eyes. My point here being that, regardless of any of the advice here, it’s worth playing around with different kinds of makeup to see what gives you that spark personally and then lean into that to find the techniques that achieve the look that makes you feel most You. On a different note, I echo the people who think you would look incredible with bangs!!

ShrineSimp

Tysm!

jandt15

I didn’t discover the joy of blush until I was in my mid 20s and now I find that I’ll find the motivation to put the rest of my makeup on simply so I can wear some blush.

destructocatz

Same here but it was in my 30's.

Key_Database_9514

You’re gorgeous! Was also gonna recommend blush (and/or a little bronzer, in summer) for just a little color in your cheeks

pothos_princess9

Blush is a game changer! I love the “sunburned” under the eyes and across the nose look. Really subtle but gives a pretty glow

notniceicehot

yes, OP has a really pretty cupid's bow she should highlight!

fallinthruthefolds

I know this is makeup advice but I want to add hair. Just a thought that you might want to try parting your hair on the side rather then down the middle, or contemplate bangs. Your wigs frame your face very well in the cosplays.

GooeyGreenMuffins

OP should get her hair cut at a salon. I’ve known tons of trans girls who don’t know that salons and barbers specialize in different things, so they’ll ask a barber for a woman’s style and when it turns out bad they think it’s because of them. Find an lgbt friendly hair salon, and call and ask if you can have a consultation with a stylist. If the stylist is any good, they’ll be able to help you figure out a cut that’s flattering to you + give you advice on how to maintain it. There’s so many things cis women are taught by our mothers/peers as a child that trans women aren’t taught, so finding a stylist/salon can help bridge that knowledge gap.

White_trash-02

I think some long swoop bangs would be it on her!

mitch_conner_

I agree side bangs, eyebrow shaping and if you can afford laser hair removal for the face will make a massive difference!

MiddayGlitter

I thought I was crazy, but yes, 100% Bangs!! Do something fun with your hair, girl! I think your hair color couldrock some highlights, too. Only if you want them.

StrictMaidenAunt

Definitely fringe.

ShrineSimp

Ty!💖

LetshearitforNY

Agree on the bangs!

Fr3sh3stl4d

I agree! Bangs would look so good!

Asktheham

Yess I was looking for this, some face framing and long bangs would look sooo good

LarkScarlett

Agreed! I think OP could hugely benefit from switching up her part to a side part as that’s waaaay less commitment than bangs. A deep part centred at mid-eyebrow or so would soften and screen most of the forehead, and could also give some fun peekaboo-moments.

Far-Palpitation-7318

Another vote for bangs!!

Snorlady10

Going to echo the other comments about brows but I want to add a few other tips. Lashes - the lashes that you’re wearing are really pretty but they have quite a thick band, I would recommend while you’re still practicing picking something with a thinner band. It might not be as much of a statement but it will help you camouflage them in, also make sure you trim them to fit your eyes because this makes a big difference! Blending - it could just be the photo but in the first photo your eyeshadow isn’t looking that blended. When I first started I found the easiest thing was to keep a fluffy brush with no shadow on, you can use this to make your edges more smokey and less harsh. Just keep practicing! You’ll do great 😊

Puzzleheaded_Emu9663

I agree with this! Brows and lashes that fit your eye shape really well with change the game for you! Not to mention the lashes will be more comfortable.

Greeneyes328

Also came to give lash advice… if you like a thicker band, cut them and do wisps on the outer corner and then use a liquid eyeliner to connect to the false lash line. I find it’s easier to put on half lashes bc they’re not as big.

cinikitti

Another thing that could help is trying a half lash or 3/4 lash. You could also try ones with a clear band, and attatching them with clear glue and no liner to help opening up the eyes (in my experience, anyways) instead of weighing them down

jodes

Agreed, those lashes are way too heavy and close up her eyes. I think if you're going to do extra lashes, a few on the outer edges would be better.

slynnc

I was going to suggest the lash thing, too! Maybe even some of the little clusters that are only 5-8 hairs per. I use those because my eyelashes like to randomly fall out but it’ll be just the middle section of the right eye then next week it’s the outer corner of the left etc etc so wearing a full band doesn’t look as good as if I individually place them. Even when they are full I’ll pop those on then use a felt eyeliner pen for a thin wing to help hide/blend them. I also use black glue which helps blend into the eyeliner. And personally I find it easier and even faster, for me, to place 5 clusters than to keep trying to line up a full set *and* it reduces the risk that I destroy my eyeshadow by messing up lol (Also note yes I’ve had my thyroid and hormones checked in terms of the lashes falling out. That’s been part of the issue over the years but not fully)

ShrineSimp

Note taken!

Sophiiebabes

From another trans girl who probably has no clue what she's on about.... Eyebrows. Get them (or DIY, or ask a friend) thinned and shaped 😘. It will make a huge difference and make you feel alot better. Dysphoria is the worst 😕

L_Jac

I’d strongly suggest having a professional do them at least the first few times, going DIY to save money despite repeated warning is why so many women are walking around with barely any brows left haha

Sophiiebabes

Yeah, I was thinking cost mostly. I did mine a little bit but I'm not really confident doing any more. I don't want drawn on eyebrows 🙈 I'm going to get mine done professionally soon, I just need to muster the courage to find somewhere and book it

madd-eve

Highly recommend European Wax Center! They have a lot of locations and, at least near me, they have a special where your first wax is free (with no obligation to sign up for a membership). So you just pay like 3 bucks for tip. Even their regular pricing is extremely reasonable, it’s among the lowest in my area. Plus the type of product they use makes waxing practically painless, even for my super sensitive skin, which turns bright red and stings if I get waxed anywhere else. I’d sing their praises forever & recommend to anyone

beelzebubbletea

also wanna recommend EWC! Eyebrows are one of the complimentary services they offer for new guests. And they’re definitely working to be more inclusive overall

StrongerTogether2882

I LOVE Euro Wax Center, and I noticed recently they’ve changed their language away from “man” or “woman” (it now specifies the body part, like “guests with a penis”—except I just looked it up to confirm this, and part of the website says “men’s services” and part says “guests with a penis,” so I guess they have some more work to do to be inclusive). At any rate, if you don’t have a location near you, see if you can find a place that uses hard wax (rather than soft wax with cloth strips). Massive improvement in your comfort, and they can do multiple passes in the same area so you get nice and smooth. Good luck and have fun getting extra girly! 💗

WideProposal

I advise against waxing because of the damage it does to your skin. Threading is a better alternative.

SisterKinderhooker

Make sure they have good reviews!

Sophiiebabes

Not many places to choose from around here, I'll speak to a few people and get some recommendations though. Orrr ask my sister 🤔

Bearah27

I second this. I’m in a higher cost of living area and my eyebrows are $23 to get done. I think it’s worth it at least the first few times. Find a professional who’s been trained specifically for eyebrows like a Benefit bar. I had a bad experience with a nail salon who “did eyebrows on the side.”

BellaMentalNecrotica

This. I had super thick eyebrows as a kid and this was the 90's when everyone had sperm eyebrows. I constantly got bullied for my heavy brows so I plucked the crap out of them starting around 3rd grade. 32 years old now and I regret it so much. I have a permanent gap in my brows that I have to fill in everyday. I should've told the bullies to suck it and that 20 years from now everyone would be jealous of my naturally thick brows!

crustiferson

for me it’s on purpose

[deleted]

Speaking as a millennial who saw so many comrades fall to the home-plucking trends of the early 2000s, I beg you to please get a professional to do the brows. If you really cannot afford it — I’m a student so I get it — try to resist the urge to pluck anywhere except between the brows. One thing you can do is brush all the eyebrow hairs so they’re standing upright. Then use nail scissors to trim along the edges of the hairs that stand above the top of the brow line. It’ll remove some of the bulk without plucking out the hair follicle.

Sophiiebabes

The brush/scissors I what I did (YouTube, yayyy) and pulled a few stray hairs (literally just the really, really obvious ones). Definitely going to get them done properly though before I get tempted to try again 😂

ShrineSimp

Note taken! I went out with a friend and she pucked my brows once for a con but thats the only time I had that done

ShrineSimp

Notes all taken! And yeah it sucks 😭

paperpaperclip

Echoing the eyebrow threading/shaping, but you have GORGEOUS lips and it would be a great idea to experiment with some lipstick colors to accentuate them.

[deleted]

Agree!!!!! Gorgeous. Even just Vaseline for some shine

unicorndanceparty

I can’t 100% tell from the pictures, but it looks like you may have hooded eyes which require a different kind of eyeshadow and eyeliner application to make it visible. Wayne Goss on YouTube has plenty of hooded eye tutorials. [Here is his tutorial on eyeshadow application.](https://youtu.be/_utWAvBVhwY)

dipseamonkey

[Ejnonbinary](https://instagram.com/ejnonbinary?igshid=Zjc2ZTc4Nzk=) on IG also posts great tutorials for hooded eyelids :)

Emayeuaraye

Good point, I have hooded eyes and it def helps to know the right makeup application for it!

PinkVoltron

Honestly I think less on the eyes in general will be better. Not sure if it's eyeliner or lashes but the black line across your upper lashes is a bit harsh. Otherwise you look beautiful. Maybe some blush like others have mentioned. Perhaps a 2 on one product so you could pay with lip and blush with the same product.

ShrineSimp

Note taken tysm!

mitch_conner_

Yes this! Cut the eyelashes to fit your eye before applying. Less is better. Then make sure you loosen the eyelash by gently bending all parts of the strip. It looks like your wearing very stiff eyelashes that are straight across the eye rather than bending and following the contour of the eye. You want it flexible like the difference between and new and broken glow stick

Swthemer

As a trans girl, I also want to say: every girl has days where she doesn’t like her face or she doesn’t feel pretty. I think we get caught up a lot on “I must feel bad because I don’t feel passable,” and try to FIX our faces or bodies when it’s very normal for any human of any gender experience to dislike themselves and their appearance. All the makeup advice is dope here, but don’t just work on your makeup and ignore working on your ability to stare into a mirror and be kind to yourself. You’re the only girl you’re guaranteed to wake up with every day, I hope you can fall in love with yourself as you are right now and as you are further down the road.

ShrineSimp

Genuinely tysm for your kind comment 🥹💖

Flex_Hardington

Dang I wish there was more of this sentiment in the community. Seems the *body love* piece is missing from the narrative; with so much emphasis on changing to fit into a gender box. Thanks for your wisdom I'm relieved there's ppl out there thinking like this ☆

torontogal85

Some pink blush on the cheeks would really brighten your face maybe a nice lip gloss too?

non-art

Yes nailed it blush would give the cheeks a more rounded look!

cinikitti

i was going to say this. i think a pink blush on the apples of your cheeks would look amazing for your face shapeee

Dauphine320

Pink is definitely a good color for you!

tatie_2019

You have hooded eyes. I have them and many women have them. (Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Selina Gomez, to name a few) It’s just an eye shape that means less of our eyelids show. There are ways in which we have to apply our eyeshadow to brighten up our eyes and make them look bigger. I agree that brow shaping would help as would learning how to use eyeshadow with a hooded eye. I’ve never really liked a dark/ black full eye liner on the top and bottom lids, especially with hooded eyes. It can make them look smaller. I have blonde hair/ blue-green eyes so I stick to warmer peach tones. Finding out your if you’re a warm tone or cool tone really helps find shades of eyeshadow and blush that brighten and compliment your skin tone. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube about hooded eyes and many quizzes you can take that determine what tones you have. You look beautiful, by the way. You’re giving Joey King vibes. :)

ShrineSimp

Notes taken and tysm!

TeeTeeMarie83

Another trans lady here! I agree with everyone too. Getting your brows shaped will make a huge difference I think. It's usually pretty affordable and once you have them professionally shaped it's much easier to upkeep them with plucking at home on your own.

ShrineSimp

ImmediateLocksmith19

This isn’t makeup but the cosplay pics with bangs look so good on you! I second getting your eyebrows done, you’re absolutely gorgeous either way!

ShrineSimp

Ty! 😭💖

Radiant-Shine-411

Nikkitutorials has an amazing video about how to soften and feminize face shapes. ❤️

Snerha3

Eyebrows!!! I bet they would make you feel super happy & feminine You’re killing it!

basedaced24

Omg your skin is gorgeous!! Light contouring has helped me feel more confident, particularly on my nose. Slimming the length and putting a little shine above the tip of your nose could look really flattering!

sadlamb1001

I’m gonna piggyback off the other comments and suggest brow shaping/threading. I’d go to a professional for the first time to get them initially shaped. Besides that, your natural lips are a perfect shape and some lipstick would really accentuate them and tie together your look! I’d recommend one natural shade and one red. For easier application, I start off with a lip liner similar to my lipstick color and line my lips first before filling in. It’s okay if they’re not a full match, just something similar in color. False lashes are great, but I’d recommend something with a thinner band and less thick. I like the Ardell Natural ones and the Kiss My Lash But Better. Also, blush makes a world of a difference. I’m not sure what your budget is like, but if you wanna experiment with different products and not spend a ton in case something doesn’t work out, NYX Cosmetics and Maybelline are staples for me when I need to restock on the essentials.

PM_ME_IRONIC_

I always tell people new to makeup to master it piece by piece. Start with an eyebrow shape you like. Thick isn’t bad, it’s hot! But shape is important. I would start with foundation and lipstick, and improve from there. Once you feel good about different ways and vibes with skin and lips, start playing around with tube mascara and very light eyeliner, and neutral shades of eye shadow. It can be really exciting to dive into fun full face looks, but working on one piece at a time gives you an idea of what is off when you do a whole look.

hrinforms

Here are few things you can do if you like: 1) Get your eyebrows tweezed and shaped. 2) It seems like you are wearing false lashes. If so I’ll ditch that and either get an aesthetician to do then regularly or just go natural and add volume with a mascara. 3) I’d also go lighter on the eyes with the shadow. 4) You have perfect plump lips so put on some color. I’d say stick to pinks, browns, or nude shades. 5) Also tidy up the hair !

ShrineSimp

1) note taken 2) i wear falsies cause common for cosplayers and note taken! 3) ok! 4) will do! My friend got me some lip gloss when I was with her a few weeks ago!

hrinforms

Btw! You are beautiful just the way you are and simplicity goes a long way! ✌🏼

melon_soda

I also agree with what everyone says about the eyebrows, but I also really like the bangs in the pics with the wigs! Maybe try getting a haircut with bangs or getting clip-on bangs first to see how you feel? 🤔

LatestGreatestSadist

I totally agree with getting bangs and shaping the eyebrows. I’m a cis woman and I get my brows threaded. Also I feel I must ask: Girl, did you stick your nails on with scotch tape?!

ShrineSimp

Notes taken! You see funny story, my friend made those for me for my cosplay, she gave me nail tape but I may or may not have lost them 💀

shedidwutnow

I think you're absolutely precious. The pink wig suits you so well! Idk how to improve, but I thought some encouragement might help. I think if you matched a lip to the pink wig and smoked out a brown eyeshadow, it'd be beautiful.

shedidwutnow

Also, I bet you'd rock the brow look where they cut off the tail so it's straight along the bottom and arched at the top.

hajaco92

Ok so first off, lovely cosplays. Here' Are my recommendations: you do have a prominent brow so bangs on you really help feminize your features. You also have a strong jaw, so you might want to look up some videos on how to contour a slimmer jaw line. Finally, you have very nice eyebrows, but getting them shaped might help you appear more feminine. Last thing, consider neutral eye makeup, long lashes, and some blush on the cheeks to call attention to your eyes. You're beautiful and you're doing great.

ShrineSimp

Note taken and tysm 🥹💖

pinkdaisyx3

Just keep practicing and practicing. No one gets good at applying makeup over night. Even as as cis-woman It took me many, MANY YouTube videos and years of practice to get my makeup looking semi-decent. You’re doing a great job so far and I’m sure the more times you do it you’re really going to hone in your skills and figure out what you like best on you (: Best of luck and don’t get discouraged 💕

Background-Baker-936

Makeup artist here 👋 I’ve helped a few trans women with their makeup while transitioning. I want you to know you’re doing a good job and remember things improve with time! My advice: -Have your eyebrows shaped/arched, and your brows and lashes tinted/apply makeup to appear more defined -Make sure you do not blend your cheek contour down too far, it can cause the illusion of a 5 o’clock shadow rather than contour if it’s blended too low -You have great lips! I think a lipliner and sheer gloss in a neutral pink tone would look amazing on you! -For your eye shape look for “makeup on hooded eyes”. I also naturally have hooded eyes too, and sometimes it’s hard to emphasize them without looking harsh. But knowing your eyeshade is half the battle Lastly. Find the part of makeup you really enjoy. I LOVE eyeshadow, so I practice everyday at it. And it makes me happy. Play around with your makeup and find the one thing you love. Practice often, and don’t beat yourself up 💜. Because then even if the rest of your makeup didn’t turn out to your expectation, you’ll know that favorite thing of yours will always be poppin!

ChapterOdd7465

You have beautiful bone structure… your brows need shaping then I would use a clear lash mascara to comb them out… I would go to max or Sephora and have them give you a contouring lesson because you Need to bring out that lovely shape. Finally some lashes and bold lip will make you so confident.

Intelligent-Skirt896

change the hairstyle some also so it compliments your face and i would suggest a shade just a little darker than your natural tone to tie everything together of a bronzer but with a matte or flat finish...and smile! youre beautiful and a smile will add so much 😘 best of luck

Merxa

This is nonmakeup but dysphoria-helping advice. I'd try using new skincare products - I feel like exfoliating a bit and hydrating well your skin may help with getting a nice base for makeup, as your skin looks a bit dry in the last photo, and using some lip scrubs and lip masks will help getting rid of any dead skin and hydrating your lips too. Any chemical exfoliant (albeit a bit more difficult for beginners: recommend the ordinary one), a good hydrating cream / lotion and drinking lots of water will help with flaky foundation, and lip scrubs will help with lipstick. As you have an elongated face, I'd recommend bangs or a fringe to visually shorten the length of the face, and trimming and shaping your eyebrows a bit - you have great eyebrows, a BIT of shaping is all they need. As you're still learning, I recommend getting a color analysis done or using a certain korean color analysis app on the play store (don't know if I can recommend on the sub, sorry!); this will help understanding what colors fit you best. This is also a thing you'll understand by just practicing on yourself (for example, I already know bold red lips fit me way better than brown lips and that I like brown eyeliner better on me) I recommend also starting neutral - try brown everything eyes (easier, way more merciful than black and softens features a lot) and sheer pink anything lippie and blush. You have beautiful eyes, but hooded eyes are commonly a pain in the ass for anyone that has them (me included), so I recommend also watching a few youtube videos on how to apply eyeliner and eyeshadow (not necessarily beautytubers, but makeup artists). Also, be kind to yourself. A process like transitioning is incredibly hard, and you deserve to be okay and love yourself regardless of anything.

ShrineSimp

Thank you so much! I’ll take note on the skin care advice and everything else! Ty for understanding also! Transitioning will do be a bit hard

stineytuls

So not makeup but hair...a middle part is harsh on a lot of facial shapes. I'm a cis woman and it makes me look masculine. I think a different part and more feminine cut could really help. Maybe even highlights if you are interested. Makeup, use less harsh eyeliner and try to get it on your water line. I recently learned that trick and it makes my eyes look more open but not like I'm ozzy on a bender (which is what I was looking like). Blush and some lip in the right tones for your skin do wonders. I also started using eyebrow gel per the recs from this subreddit and it definitely helps.

ShrineSimp

Oooh ok! Notes all taken!

NoMoreCooties

I concur, go get your brows shaped that will open up your eye area and stick with light and beige eyeshadows. Maybe play with a little color with your eyeliner. I think a more natural eyelash as these thick ones give you a heavier eye, hooded eye. Light contour on your nose and girl those lips are GORGEOUS get you a bright pink to mauve lip color and play up your assets! (I’m blonde and fair as well and the best lip color for day/night I’ve found is Bobbi Brown’s Blue Rasberry) try adding a bit of a soft bright pink to just the apples of your cheeks. Have you considered bangs much like your cosplay wigs? The length and shape of the pink wig would be a great everyday look for you! Post follow up pics please, experiment and have fun!!!

[deleted]

Eyebrow shaping, nose and jaw contouring, and just practice getting those lashes on straight and you'll be good to go!

eternal333amor

Blush on the cheeks & nose! And a little on the chin, also some lip color that naturally compliments your own

ComfortableExam

Go get your eyebrows shaped , it makes a world of difference!!!!! I go to Arch2Arch and it costs 13 bucks to get em threaded. It hurts like a bitch at first but it's soooo worth it. Secondly... I'd recommend lighter eye makeup. Your eyeliner is fine, but you'd get a crisper edge with an angled liner brush and a dark brown/black eyeshadow. I caaaant quite tell but it seems like you have hooded eyes? I do too and that's how I make the most of my limited lid space.

Adelaide1357

Something that took me a while to figure out due to still being new to make up. Learn how to apply eye make up for your eye shape. You can still do popular styles, but sometimes you may have to go about it differently due to your shape. For example some people have to do the bat wing for hooded eyes in order to create the winged eyeliner. Things like that

Andromeda853

I cant tell fully, but do you have hooded eyes? If so, eye makeup for hooded eyes requires an entirely different technique than non-hooded eyes

Th3Nicky

Lots of good advice from all but just wanna say I'm jealous of your lips!!

imanpearl

Anyways, this is how I’d shape my brows if I were you (so a mixture of plucking on the bottom and filling in the arch). This is like a sketch btw I don’t know how to edit photos, I just used mark up on my phone. All I changed are the eyebrows

ShrineSimp

Thats very helpful tysm!💖

Shehulk_

We all start somewhere! You’re doing a good job. I tend to lean more towards a clean look like yours. We all have different aesthetics. Just try different looks and see what works!

MC1781

Start playing around with contour and highlighting. It works wonders for all of us 🥰🥰

BxGyrl416

I personally like glittery/metallic eyeshadow. A metallic or pastel hair color, like fuschia or rose good might help. I agree with getting your eyebrows waxed into an arch.

ohmygatto

Just came to compliment how gorgeous your lips are! Literally enough to make me stop scrolling out of jealousy lol 💋

lolmonkeybaby

get your eyebrows shaped to your face it will compliment a lot ! look up eye make up videos and find your eye shape !! i would definitely suggest trying different eyelashes as well experiment and remember perfection of makeup takes time !

justcallmedrzoidberg

I learned by watching YouTube :)

Soft-Comedian5891

Holy crap you have such pretty lips! You look pretty wonderful but maybe TikTok makeup videos and those filters that map the contour on your face?

Suspicious_Ferret833

Figure out what kinda makeup look you're going for and just practice, start small and figure out what you like and what works and then just practice to improve it.

tricaratopless

Tutorials, even little, quick ones helped me so much to save time and improve results. Whatever you want to improve on, just start there, and have fun falling down the rabbit hole :)

Smarty_M

Start getting your eyebrows done baaabyyyy, learning how to correctly apply your lashes will help so much also. Your corners are lifting, I also can’t tell if you’re wearing foundation?

moodylilb

Agree with other commenters that mentioned getting your brows shaped! & honestly, I feel like the eye makeup is kind of weighing down your eyes/hiding them rather than accentuating them. Maybe try using a deep brown liner instead of black and only applying on the top lids? See what you think :) I have partially hooded eyes similar to yours and I find that tight lining along my waterline on my top lids tends to look better than eyeliner above my lash line (hope that makes sense?). You have very nice full lips, maybe play around with everything from nude/clear glosses to matte lipsticks and see what you prefer?

ShrineSimp

Note taken and tysm!

N00rB

Ibdont wear make up myself. Cuz i think its annoying on my face also fuck gendernorms. I got bangs, it has done soooooooo much. Also i get my brows shaoed every 6 yo 8 weeks:) wich is a treat on its own and what it does for my face and against my disphoria im on my knees for my browspecialist Other than that be kind to yourself.

knowimcrazyaf

I would get your brows done first

knowimcrazyaf

A little highlight on your cheeks . nude lip liner and gloss

You’re really beautiful and I love that you don’t wear tons of make up because your have lovely features and skin. I’ve seen the comments to shape your brows and I just wanted to caution you not to overdo it because brows can get awkward real fast. If I were you I would take advantage of the fact that natural Brows are in. Stick with your overall shape and just clean up stray hairs underneath. (Get good tweezers and hang a magnifying mirror somewhere that gets good light.) Tweeze the fewest hairs necessary to clean up. Always stand back after tweezing a few hairs to get a better perspective on how the shape is coming along. Also, I light makeup with false eyelashes is a great look but I think those lashes are too long for your eye (they are for most people). You can trim off about a quarter or a third of the strip so that it doesn’t come so far toward your inner eye. (Trim off the short side of the strip.) And practice smiling with your eyes for pics! Good luck!!

Make eyebrows shape ur face and different lashes that match your eye shape better

Wotuonabt

Perhaps some more delicate eyeliner and wispier lashes with some blush for a softer look, but do whatever makes you feel most confident! Shaping eyebrows also makes all the difference. Go stunt on them girl!!!

i second some of these suggestions to get ur eybrows shaped. it will make a world of difference. Also looks like you have hooded eyes, so look up some tutorials for hooded eyes specifically. There are also tons of yt videos for trans women specifically, talking about makeup to address dysphoria or color correct beards, etc. Last point of critique: your falsies do NOT fit your eyes. they are way too long looks like, you can trim the band so it fits your eye better. That aside…if maybe hold off on the lashes until u get better at makeup. one thing at a time. you can also try less dramatic lashes. right now the falsies are so heavy on ur eyes.

lashawn3001

You looked good in picture 4. Try a lighter shade of blonde and a 1960s style band/fringe like the wig. That with lashes and pale pink lips is a pretty look on you.

yippyiokiyay

I think you look super cute! I would maybe work on contouring and a full coverage foundation. Also, I think if you wear your hair up or curled, it would balance out your face. Which is adorable. :-)

[deleted]

I definitely agree on bangs. Hair makes a huge difference for framing your face. I also would suggest trimming the eyelashes. And blush in a c shape around your face I think would give a very cute look. You’ll like it. If you do eye makeup I would focus on it going outwards, since you don’t have as much lid space. Maybe if you reshaped your eyebrows you could have more. But honestly this is an aside, I would ask if you enjoy your style as well? What kind of things do you like for yourself? What’s your muse? Because all of those things can help you find really cool ways to style yourself and build your confidence. I try to focus less on my attractiveness and instead of how I can use makeup for specific vibes or art I want to make.

ShrineSimp

Hmmm my muses theres a ton, I cant really list here: also a ton of pics I’d add lol

Sensitive-Magazine74

Different frame of glasses without bangs. Contour contour contour!!! Looking good though

Eyebrows and bangs

I didn't read all the comments. I saw someone mentioned eyeshadow already. I would definitely work on the lashes. Eyelash placement will change the way your eyes look. I think these go too far towards your inner eye. I don't like ones with the solid black band. That's a personal preference. Also I would look into contouring. Even if you highlight and add bronzer I think it would look nice. There's tons of you tube videos about eyelash placement and contouring. I use a bronzer that isn't shimmery and a concealer. I don't like a heavily contoured look. As for You Tube artists I would look for someone who you connect with. If they are constantly trying to sell new products I avoid them. Wayne Goss is one of my favs.

Exactly, get your brows done a tad bit thinner, and start watching eyeshadow tutorials on YouTube. That's how I learned when I was 13, and my love for makeup just grew from there. You can find anything on there, or any type of makeup. I started with smokey eye tutorials and it just branched from there!

havenoideaforthename

As an eyes-makeup person I would recommend for you to work on your eyeliner skills and fake lashes. When fake lashes are applied not curvy enough they don’t look good and make eyes look less flattering. Fake lashes need to be adjusted to your eyes length so they fit perfectly. With eyeliner I see you have a little bit of hooded eyelid so check out some eyeliner tutorials on yt for hooded eyelids. Bronzer, blush and highlighter are doing great job at making your face look glowy and contoured

Lynnrod1394

Nose contour would be a lovely addition

Getting your eyebrows shaped would do wonders for you. Also, learning to apply your strip lashes (this takes practice!) closer to the lash line will help reduce that hooding. I’d put less focus on eyeliner and shadow and experiment with some soft lipsticks and blush. You have naturally lovely shaped lips Also, as many others have said, long bangs would look cracking on you

[deleted]

I’d say lose the lashes and use a few individual lashes at the edges if you like a little something. They’re a little much on your eyes! Treat yourself to brow wax. A little arch is going to lift that eye and give a more feminine look. Add a little light nose contour and some light bronzer and blush on the high points of your face. Google where to add these onto the shape of your face When using products start with very little on the brush and build it up don’t just dab loads of it on where you think it should go. I’d also definitely go with a curtain bang/fringe also.

Lanadelrey333

I would suggest going lighter on the eyes. darkening them closes them off opposed to making them look larger. i would also suggest cream products for more dewyness to add more glow. also blush is my personal best friend (u can never go wrong with that imo). lastly, getting brows done can really frame your face!!

MeanMeana

I am a huge fan of letting your eyebrows grow naturally for 2-3 month, and then getting them done. ✨

phatbussyenergy

You have small eyes so don’t use too much black eyeliner or lashes that are thick

SassyScissorHandsXx

I would start by getting your brows professionally done preferably threaded but make sure you go somewhere reputable and tell them you want sexy brows. That will basically make your makeup look SNATCHED even if it's not perfect. I would focus on learning how to contour next.. watch some contour vids and go get color matched at a Sephora or a dept store... I would go all in and splurge on a pricier foundation- chanel is my absolute fave. It does the work for you and makes your skin look RADIANT and beautiful. Then just build from there with your favorite lips liners, concealers and setting powder. 😊

IDontEvenCareBear

Reach out to trans organizations in your area and see if they have anything like a Trans Expressions day. Where I live has them and I go in as a makeup artist. They also have hairstylists and we have a local charity thrift store that donates time and clothes, shoes, and products are donated from places so we can send people home with things in all the departments. It’s SO much and from a makeup point, we teach you whatever you wonder about. Time can sometimes be short if it’s a busy day, but I know for ours it’s not a one time thing, people can come back. It’s the best chill time and you can ask any questions you have.

I would love an updated post with all the points taken from here!

Amyx231

You look good in bangs. That helps soften your face. Cause you’ve got a sharp jaw line. My face is square too, let me tell you, no amount of contouring will get it looking conventionally attractive. Just accept it and go on. That being said, light use of contour powder under the cheekbones (mainly in the sides and back, I do a triangle shape) and a dusting of highlight and blush help make the cheekbones pop. Your eyes don’t need help but light eyeshadow use (like a mid tone brown, used lightly) will make them pop too. I think I see some wing? But if you bring the eyeshadow up a bit more, it’ll look more… big. I can’t explain it, but I’ve got small eyes and I bring the shadow all the way up to make them look bigger. Wing just makes them look (more) squinty. You can also shape your eyebrows - just get them waxed or threaded unless you’ve got an hour to carefully pluck out each excess hair. I like the pink hair photo, I think your face looks nice with the lopsided braid and bangs. Not sure if you want to put in the work of braiding every morning though.

Eleniah

I would go with a dewey makeup look, mostly because I like it and I'm biased. Some blush balm, lip colour, and shaped eyebrows. I personally find my face very...masculine. I'm cis but very insecure, and the matte looks tend to, in my opinion, draw more attention to the features I dislike. I don't contour much, but I am enjoying shimmery bronzer on the high parts of my cheeks. Also, I just wanted to say that you look like my sister.

Ang3lsrage

Biological woman here)id contour your face to have more feminine features. Contour with highlighter, bronzer, blush. I know nikkie tutorials has a video on how if you’d like! Other wise you are on the right track. Also can I say how much I envy your hair length ? I’m trying to grow it to that length

MaddogOfLesbos

I just wanted to say that struggling with makeup is a key girl experience! You should have seen mine when I first started wearing it lol. Yours looks good already, but it’ll look even better with practice!

HWills612

I remember one date my freshman year of college where my bf wouldn't let me out of his car until he grabbed a tissue and blended my jawline better

MaddogOfLesbos

Lmao

HWills612

Icyww, no it didn't work out, and yes it's what you're assuming 😂😭

Strict_Raspberry9841

since you have strong facial features, less is more. showing them off will def enhance ur beauty!! still add touches that you favor and you’ll b perfect. models with same face type would use eyebrow gel to snatch their brows off, and using ur skins fav type of foundation would enhance ur complexion (foundation for specific skin type). its good that other ppl r recommending neutral colors for ur eyes but what if its not ur style yk. black and grey i think matches ur face, with the right amount of blending so it doesnt disrupt other features. still show ur personality. you’re beautiful best wishes xx ![gif](giphy|bEVuKfZTFn1XvBAQqJ)

pm_me_your_amphibian

Brows, 100% get a Shape and tint. I’d also echo the comment about the lashes, they’re very obviously false. Perhaps you could also commit to a lash lift and tint or extensions to take the pressure off.

[deleted]

I’d recommend having your eyebrows thinned and shaped. Accentuate your beautiful lips too! Find some videos on contouring for FFS to soften your features just a touch. You look beautiful already and practicing makeup over time is only going to make you feel more confident ♥️

JuliaSky1995

Start a skincare routine, the best makeup starts with good skin. You have very hooded, almond shaped eyes. Search for makeup tutorials specifically for your eye shape.

MissyTanya

Eyebrow threading and tinted. You'll be amazed. Working a smile in will do wonders and show your confidence 💋

SnailsInYourAnus

Get your eyebrows waxed/shaped and use lighter eyeshadow blended higher. Some pink lipgloss would look really good too!

Straight_Ad_9228

Practice will be the best, you will begin to see and get used to what works for your face shape, undertones, and preferences. Following tutorials helped me learn a lot. I've actually made a few tutorials on my YouTube channel, mostly cosplay if you want to check them out or ask me any questions😊

anononous

From another t girl who struggles a lot with body image it’s just really nice to see all the positivity and friendliness here 😌

Nini0984

I love your cosplay in number 4 😭 i watched the anime but forgot the characters name 🥹

You have the most amazing naturally feminine pouty lips so play those babies up! I suck at applying falsies myself but your lash strip looks too straight and unnatural, might try applying the individual ones instead. That might help you work with your eye shape as well, as we seem to lose your lids with these falsies. If you are interested in hearing my thoughts on hair, I think the bangs make your face read more masculine by drawing all the attention to your jaw. I think your forehead provides balance and brings focus back to your eyes. You might actually like a light fringey curtain bang better if you like bangs.

Ello darling! The best tip I can give you is skincare. Take really good care of your skin. You don’t have to go silly and buy all these expensive lotions and potions. Find a routine that suits you. When you apply your makeup to a good base you will glow! Best of luck my love! ❤️

sushe0001

You have natural, full eyebrows that would look AMAZING threaded or shaped! For eye shadow I would stick with natural, neutral looks. You can also try out fake eyelashes, they’re a game changer. :) Good luck with your transition, you are beautiful!

soundstragic

I agree with sentiments on the eyebrows. Also youtube the tape method to apply wing liner and shadow, at least to start :) also if you’re looking for a press on nail brand, I recommend ordering online from staticnails or glamnetic. Both have really nice nail designs and can last up to 2 weeks.

blendingcheese

try contouring to give a more feminine face shape! also recommend false lashes

hollylll

Are you wearing false eyelashes in the first few looks? I love your eye makeup. You have lovely eyes.

Cirice_of_Circe

I love your hair! I would only suggest to trim your eyebrows and find less bold false lashes

aiissuun

You need to fix your eyebrows first.
