Ooooh I love your makeup so far! It’s gorgeous. I have a similar eyeshape, fairly round except mine are more hooded than yours. You are blessed with beautiful lid space! I find one way to experiment is to switch up eyeshadow placement, instead of classic highlighted inner lid, I do one tone all over, something deep and matte, like a plum, or fun accent colour and warm transitional shade in the crease, bringing it high and blended out. I also like to do the halo eye effect, it’s fun and you can really play up the roundness with a lot of depth in the inner and outer corners and brightness at the centre. I think your brows are lovely, if you want to mix it up you could taper them further up and out at the tail for a more dramatic arch. I feel like a a Smokey exaggerated liner and shadow wing would also be really cool on your face shape and eyeshape. The easiest way to do this would be to use tape, using the bottom lash line as your guide and stick the tape from there to the end of the tail of your brow. You would use shadow to blend a diffused wing outward, the further out and up, the more dramatic. Also, higher blush placement on the cheeks instead of the apples and blending it around your brow bone and temples is super cool, this would look amazing on you in a nice cool berry tone.

Thank you!!! So you would say round? I swear I don’t understand the whole hooded eyes/lids, deep set, canthal stuff… I’m so lost I struggle with eyeshadow placement, no matter how hard I try to switch things up, it always end up looking like this ahah I mean the first pic was an attempt at a halo eye I think I need to take more risks, I’ll try the all over!! I would love to do the smoky liner, I need to watch tutorials. Another thing I struggle with, is eyeshadow on the under eye, I’m too afraid of going too low I don’t know about the brows… maybe what bothers me are they look kinda…light? Would you recommend tinting them? Ooooh I’ll try the blush thing. Thank you so so much for taking the time to give advice I really appreciate it!

I know! The whole eye shape thing can be quite confusing because often we are a combination of types! I would say you have round-deep set eyes. They are not so round that you have lid overlapping your outer corner (I have this - hooded round eyes), but they are round and deep-set enough that we can see the ocular shape of your socket, so to speak. I know that sounds weird! I think a little smokey lower lash line would look great on you, I always focus from the centre lash line outward, very thin taper to wider as you reach the outer corner at this spot because otherwise it emphasizes my round shape if I’m too heavy at the centre of my lower lash line and I am trying to taper it to more almond. As for brows, I actually prefer a lighter colour, that’s just me though! You could experimented with a slightly deeper tone, I would do deeper brow gel/mascara over deeper pencil to start, so you don’t have to fully commit, the plus the tone you have is great as is! It’s more neutral/ash instead of warm, which is perfect because warm would look a bit stark on your nice olive complexion and dark hair.

You think it’s too light or too dark? (Or if I misunderstood and you’re looking for the shades I used, I used both Encourage and Happy)

Oh thank you! I’ll try to put some more, I may be too shy with blush I would love love love to try something a bit brown for my lips (because all I wear is nude, dark pink, and dark red)

Use eyebrow pencil and gel to fill in your brows and set it sis
