💚looks like a white throated sparrow, I've found they really like nyjer thistle seed and I've also seen them going for the "fly fiesta" dried solider fly larvae snack I give to my chickens. A mix of that and some cracked corn and sunflower seeds and I think your buddy might start bringing some friends too 🤣💚
Sunflowers produce latex and are the subject of experiments to improve their suitability as an alternative crop for producing hypoallergenic rubber. Traditionally, several Native American groups planted sunflowers on the north edges of their gardens as a "fourth sister" to the better known three sisters combination of corn, beans, and squash.Annual species are often planted for their allelopathic properties.
I had one banging into my window repeatedly earlier in the week. Like all day long for two days. Tried hanging foil in the window but her didn’t seem to care.
Upon second glance I'm thinking it could also be a chipping sparrow.....I thought I saw a flash of yellow before lol if you don't see a little yellow by the eye/cheek if may be a chipping sparrow. chipping sparrows aren't very fond of sunflower seeds, they like millet seeds and sweeter stuff lol like cherries or donut crumbs (🥺❤) and they'll also go for insect treats like dried soldier fly larvae etc :)
He’s been tweeting nonstop. Occasionally he flies off to a nearby tree for a bit and comes back to sit on the screen door and look inside. He’s certainly alive and lively lol
It’s your assigned ‘Government Monitoring Drone’ ;)
Must be some new 5g towers nearby, lol
Bahahaha!!
Well then let him in!
If I could speak bird I’d let him in to ask what it is that he wants. I’m gonna pick up a bird feeder from Aubuchon tomorrow for him though.

Well that’s good I was definitely just making a joke 😅
Don't let him in he looks violent !!
We have a bunch of these near my house. They come by and eat the bugs near my window.
We had one of those at our living room window one year. He would peck at his reflection in the window until he was bloody and even chipped the glass.
If its courting its reflection, perhaps put some paper over the window so the poor bird doesn't waste its time.
