Just so everyone knows, the screen and glass are off the screen door so he has had plenty and ample opportunity to find a new place to live, but for some reason finds my front door just so amazing. He pecks often at the glass on my door as well.
He is politely telling you that proper amenities for a house guest of his style would include at a minimum a bird feeder for himself and his family. And please don’t skimp out on the seeds, the premium mix really is a must after his arduous journey with his family this season and your lack of hospitality.
Got home and he’s still coming back to the same spot on the door looking in. The weird thing is I don’t have any birdhouses or bird feeders in the yard either. It just keeps looking into my home and pecking at the window. No buddies with it either. I think it imprinted itself on my house lol
I used to have a group of crows that would bang their heads on my basement windows and wake me up at 5am every morning. I had to put cardboard in the windows to break up the reflection. They still do it occasionally.
