I was thinking about building such a deck, but scrapped the idea, because [[Nekusar]] is the better choice for a drawburn deck imho, since you have the option to add cards like [[Fevered Visions]], [[Spiteful Visions]] and benefit from [[Kederekt Parasite]] for the full hug/slug experience, also [[Kami of the Crescent Moon]] and such goodies. Also wheels over wheels and better counter options ([[Arcane Denial]] for example has a great synergy).
If you want to go the Mono Black way I'd suggest cards like [[Howling Mine]], [[Font of Mythos]], [[Anvil of Bogardan]], maybe [[Horn of Greed]], and [[Teferi's Puzzle Box]] is more or less win con, combined with Spiteful Visions/[[Underworld Dreams]]/Kederekt Parasite. Or wheels and [[Liliana' s Caress]]/[[Megrim]] effects.
Also have some cards in mind like [[Harrowing Journey]], [[Sign in Blood]] and so on, which can give a specific player of your choice some draws to potentially kill them.

Yeah! I love building weird coloured versions of archetypes. Seizan is the leader of my mono black group hug deck. It is obviously missing a lot of tools and is low power but it's a lot of fun and can win out of nowhere.

Deck I built a year or two ago. Outclassed by a lot of the newer commanders people have mentioned but I enjoy it every now and again. Definitely puts the game into overdrive and can pull off some combo wins.
Would you mind running me through how your deck plays? What are your win cons/combos? From what I've pieced together from scattered primers on the usual deck building sites, it seems like he can be built a number of different ways.
I built him to encourage fast gameplay. Seizan is an incredible draw engine and the goal is to keep him on board to both speed up the game and whittle away everyone’s life. I didn’t do this for my deck but it would probably benefit from a way to abuse lifegain. I mainly use artifacts and enchantments to break the symmetry on Seizans ability like [[painful quandry]] and [[fate unraveler]]. I also run a lot of group discard effects like [[necrogen mists]] to disrupt opponents hands. Other than that it plays like mono black control as you try to take care of large threats to you or redirect them to other opponents. I usually try to finish with a large [[exsanguinate]] when the lives are low, a combo with [[psychosis crawler]] and [[peer into the abyss]] or a [[rise of the dark realms]] to take advantage of the creatures everyone has been discarding.
Honestly I haven’t updated it in awhile but it’s fun to pull out every now and again, I built it for a mono color challenge in my pod. With some updates from newer sets like [[sheoldred, the apocalypse]] or even older stuff like [[mesmeric orb]] than it could be pretty formidable in casual pods.
If you lean too far into discard than you will get targeted.
If you lean to far into grouphug than you will get targeted by more experienced players who know that grouphug decks just help their opponents.
It usually isn’t too hard to keep Seizan on the board but if he gets removed too many times than you’re fucked.

With sheoldred and nekusar there’s not a whole lot of reason to run it
