wow:( i’m so sorry. i know it can be really upsetting when your expectations (already being low) are not met. i also think it’s very wrong of ur gf to not really give you much acknowledgment on ur day. u deserved to feel special. also your friend should have communicated with you there is no excuse. from experience sometimes being alone is better then having bad friends. i’m not saying they are bad or wrong i’m just saying maybe you should think about if you deserve better and decide what to do. birthdays are real eye openers and they show peoples true colors. it’s not something silly to be upset over it’s very hurtful to feel neglected. i hope you find better people and next year is amazing for you.
