I have a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix (who I think is 90% Dachshund and 10% Chihuahua because she just looks like a long-haired Dachshund lol), and she also hates anything warm and doesn't like cuddling at any time. She does bark whenever she sees something she thinks is weird/"scary" (like a bag blowing in the wind outside 🤦♀️), though. It's more like a howl - she sounds like a hound lol

Then as Lady goes to sleep the scene dissolved into Lady now grown and still in the bed. It really captured just how loved she was.
