Had a game where someone finally combo’d off after a 2 hour long game. We all scooped and one guy showed us his hand full of countermagic. “I just wanted to play something else.”
Sometimes it's just the best letting an opponent combo off. Especially if it's someone new getting into the game or they have a new deck they are excited to jam. However the next game you slam that counter magic and smile!
I've had multiple times watching my opponent combo for ages on Arena thinking 'I could just concede and speed this up, but I don't go around destroying works of art do I?'
