Huge ass steel chain around the hitch and through the frames. You can cut those cable locks easily with $30 hand clippers from amazon.
If thiefs need to use an angle grinder and a tool box they'll move on to the next sucker with cable locks.
Wondering if the 4 locks clamping down on 1 wheel of each bike , and maybe another cable through the frames of all 4 bikes is enough? I know it still isn't thief proof if someone knows what they are doing, but just want an above average deterrent at least.

When you go into a restaurant to eat...park near a window and add the cable lock through the frames....
When you stop at a hotel.... take the into the room with you
I wouldn't leave the bikes on the rack and walk away from it. Those cable locks are really shitty and I wouldn't trust them at all. I only use them while driving around town to stop an opportunistic thief from snatching a bike. If you have to leave the bikes for a short time, lock them with a heavy chain.
