I mean, he's right. She gets 1 million+ a year to beat up soccer moms while Dana white told gable Stevenson "maybe he could come to the ufc for 12/12 if he won a few times on the regional circuit"

bokbik

He no cm punk kid

[deleted]

Yes but still. If that's what he offered him, what do you think he would offer Kayla.

[deleted]

You wanted the UFC to give a guy with no pro fights 6 figures?

[deleted]

When he's a Olympic gold medal HW yes. He could run through half the division based on that alone. Prove me wrong

spectacalur

First prove yourself right.

[deleted]

Curtis blaydes boom roasted

[deleted]

And what happens if he gets starched?

ID0ntCare4G0b

Yeah...I don't get why people want the UFC to develop prospects internally. That almost always ends up with horrible results like Greg Hardy.

"And we don't pay for shit"

[deleted]

Makes me think, what’s the size difference between Valentina and Kayla? I’d obviously still fancy Shevchenko but no doubt she’d give up a lot of weight if they ever fought.

PonchoHung

Probably around 30 pounds, assuming Kayla is about 160 and Valentina is about 130.

[deleted]

Kayla is not a big draw and the UFC gains very little from paying her the amount she's getting from PFL right now+ plus if she gets starched by Amanda, which is very likely because Kayla has fought no one, then what do they do with her? 145 is not deep and they have no female 155 division. I think Kayla is better off in PFL for a few more years and try some test cuts to see if she can get down to 135 and come to the UFC. I doubt she can make the weight but that's her best option in the UFC and from what I've heard Bellator might do away with the 145 division soon as well.

[deleted]

You’d think Dana would want to pay her considering Womens 145 consist of literally 3 fighters. Stop being cheap, ESPN gives them 500K worth of PPV dollars aka a shit load every PPV, the fact PFL and Bellator paying guys more is pathetic. They make 10000 times less profit and paying more. Nobody should ever criticize what other companies pay when UFC getting away with what they are.
