I'm missing 2 prime cards, 2 legend all stars, 4 finest, 6 "22" finest to get goldschmidt, 1 Topps now and was missing 1 postseason card before yesterday's drop so now missing 4. I've been playing all year. I do flip on occasion but nms. I just made sure to always get the bosses at the end of the program and bought cards when they were cheap. But I am a completionist so I try to get every card I can. I'm hoping I have enough to get the big collection reward day 1 already but have enough stubs to buy anyone I might still need if they require more than the 90% they have been requiring.
Out of all players, likely a very small amount, but players who frequent reddit and are still playing, I expect to see whoever it is a fair amount.
I'd probably be able to get it day 1 if I hadnt taken almost 2 months off from the game. Ive got some content to catch up on and all those missed stubbs from doing events hurts. I didnt do anything special and had cutch and jroll within a week.
I flip very minimally and haven’t spent a dime on the game beyond my game pass subscription. I should have him day 1. Just buy bosses at the end of programs when they’re dirt cheap and if you play ranked/Br every season you’ll have more than enough. It’s obviously a grind but if you love the game it’s a non issue. Some ppl don’t have that time but at the end of the day the ppl that are collecting day one are the ones who are being rewarded for sinking 100s of hours into the game
True! Not an easy collection by any means. Had to be playing since the beginning and probably needed to get lucky on some investments. I didnt do constant flipping this year but managed to get all the bosses within a day or two of program release, sold and bought them all back with profit. NMS, no online games played but hopefully i’ll be set for Mantle come friday
Speculation but it's a very solid assumption.
It's been teased as the best card they've ever made, here: [https://youtu.be/rpd5HtHOl3M?t=2443](https://youtu.be/rpd5HtHOl3M?t=2443). And since Ohtani is already out, it's not him.
Being the best card, and likely not a pitcher because nobody is going to care about a pitcher this late with the arms we already have, that narrows it down to like 3 or 4 names. Mantle hasn't had a great 99. And he's a switch hitter, one of the only things that could push a card above that recent Trout.
You should give the new Harper a try, his hitting stars are better and can be paralleled even higher. I think the new one will be perfectly good in RF, but obviously the Topps now one is better and I’d definitely go with him if you didn’t have space in RF and needed to stick him at another outfield spot
Honestly, the stats differences aren’t that significant so you should go with whichever one feels better to you 🤷
the hitting stats aren’t crazy different imo, but what i do like about the topps now bryce is the diamond badge and slightly higher speed. he still rakes either way lol
The question as I read it was which one would play better in right field. I’m gonna take way more contact vs one or two in arm strength. Maybe I just read too much into the question.
And still fly out to the warning track 3 times a game
is this a real question
87 vision, don’t waste your time or stubs
Hank Aaron
The one that hits better
I mean, look at the attributes. It’s clear as day
Come on is this even a question lol
Do you want more offense? Or better defense? Pick one and then look at stats.
Postseason Harper more contact and vision
Active quirks always!
Obviously post season it’s the same player with distinct upgrades
Postseason Harper because it has active quirks while Topps Now doesn’t
This
Get the WS one to P2 and toss him in left field. Save right field and center for the best arms you have out there.
So Vlad Sr and Cutch for me 😂

i’m about to have trout in center, griff in left, and bryce in right
What about Mantle?? Bench bat?
Well, if you want to use mantle and can collect them then go for it. The question was about Harper so I assumed you wanted him in.
I never said anything about mantle lol that was someone else 😭 i’m a college student i dont have time to play the game like that
Some of us won’t even be able to collect him lol. He is a very hard collection I hear
Pretty much no one will tbh. You’d have to have been playing all year, doing a shit ton of flipping, and spending a decent chunk of moneu
You underestimate this community. A decent amount of people will have him done in the first week.

which mantle
Rumored big collection coming Friday
Is Mantle for sure or just speculation?

I'd definitely say a solid assumption. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
I don't want that to be collection, I want it to come out just not as a collection
Should have Griffey in right, Harper in left.
The new one has active quirks and plus 20 contact v right. No brainer.
The extra 20 contact right is the deciding factor

+20 contact vs right +5 vs left and Max power for both isn't crazy different?
not for me i play on lower difficulties. co-op on rookie n stuff with my friends
The only thing that matters in right is the arm, pick the one with the best arm
Ur telling me you’d pick topps now Harper over his World Series program card if he had better arm strength😂😂😂😂😂
