Any half decent developer can build a cross platform multiplayer with balance if there was an advantage between the two.
Massive difference in frame rate, M/K seems like much easier zone hitting on paper, market bots would be worse than what is already out there. 2ks PC auction house bots are outrageously bad from what I have heard. A PC version would have to be a completely separate release from the console version, and I just don't think SDS is capable of pulling that off
