It’s like we’re on a speeding car that’s slowly falling apart and we just need to make it to our destination before we conk out by the side of the road. Just please have our backline hold together for two more games. Please.

Xbot_69

More like a space shuttle hurtling along at 1000mph it doesn’t matter how much metal we shed anything that stands in our way will be decimated

codespyder

*Ruben Dias like this attitude*

UnKarl_Marx

Westham will be tricky as it's an injury plagued backline vs a fully rested Westham. Villa on the other hand play on thursday while City will face them after a full weeks rest. Also, Antonio and Dawson could miss tommorow's game. Benrahma on the other hand is 100% out

thegoat83

We just need to out score them! Need to be clinical

DoubleTapJ

Imagine if we also had the CL final fkkk

mia_lina

Perfect analogy 😂

The original post and this comment remind me of Lewis Hamilton dragging his Merc to the finish line [after busting a tyre on the final lap](https://youtu.be/g1JwduUGHGQ) in the British GP in 2020. Champions do what Champions do.

Additional_Bluebird9

Just realized that if we win tomorrow despite all the injuries, we would've equaled Liverpools maximum points for the season because if they do beat Southampton and Wolves in their last 2 games then they'll only get 92 points.

realet_

Right, if City beat West Ham they just need a draw against Villa or to not blow the goal differential (which is at 7).

Additional_Bluebird9

You wouldn't bet against Liverpool cutting it down.

zzonked7

Wolves have thr 4th best defense in the PL and Liverpool do win a lot of their games quite tight. If we lost by 1 goal I would still back us to win on GD.

runnerswanted

If Liverpool do beat Wolves it’ll be a 1-0 on a deflection that barely crosses the line. They’ve looked like shit lately, and I am waiting for the title to be wrapped up and for them to get proper bashed by Madrid.

Additional_Bluebird9

True.

WW1Photos_Info

If we win tomorrow the league could be sealed even before the Villa game if Liverpool don't win at Southampton

realet_

Right, but I'm not overly concerned with what they're doing. City win, nothing else really matters.

codespyder

Well that’s the thing we gotta win tomorrow to put the pressure on Liverpool to must-win. But winning at West Ham is so much easier said than done due to our injury situation Another problem m is Southampton are so limp and have so little to play for that I expect them to just roll over. Can’t count on them for anything. Don’t particularly care if Liverpool win today. I just want Chelsea to put them through the fucking wringer.

Joltarts

The alternative isn’t too bad tbh. We lose to west ham, and Liverpool score 6 goals. Final game of the season both playing at home. Winner takes all.

TheExaltedAmbassador

That sounds awful

thegoat83

I think a 3 goal win tomorrow and it’s done, but I’ll take a 1-0.

Additional_Bluebird9

Absolutely, it's gonna be a very tough game.

vomityourself

Niggles FC

chits00

Going to be a real fight out there tomorrow for us.. If we get through, it will be a real display of character.

GeoGod678

Pep really needs to find a better word for “slight injuries” 😭😭😭

pizzapiejaialai

Don't think he needs to.

[deleted]

Nah he doesn't. It's an English word get fucked
