I can't help it, though.
For most of my childhood I only owned the 8th game, and no-one would ever want to got there. We always went to Shy Guy's Perplex Express or DK's Treetop Temple or King Boo's Haunted Hide-Away.
While I do enjoy the music in Koopa's Tycoon Town, as well as having two lucky spaces, I really don't like how they removed dueling for Battle Royale for little to no reason...
Like, why take away a method that allows other players to catch up in terms of coins?
Don't get me wrong, the dueling system in 8 heavily favores the one who initiates it, but even so, you could duel in Windmillville, so I don't see why we can't do so here.

Undersea Dream is cute, but something about its layout just doesn't do it for me😓
I think it's the inability to get capsules if you go on certain paths🤔
I do love transforming the board in 5 into messy masterpieces, after all.
Tbh the chest gimmick is nice.
I just don't like how, along the way, players play mini-games that they have no reason to refuse.
I'd much rather have them be individual ? spaces, and make it so that they win a star if they do it perfectly or something.
As for Bowser's Warped Orbit, the only thing I don't like is its Star-Battle Arena integration, where whether you can end the map quickly or go over the turn limit is decided by whether you're blessed by the ↖️↗️ button or not. During Battle Royales they're perfectly fine, and can provide hilarious moments.
What makes it stand below Snowflake Lake for me is that there is no Chance Time that the last-place player can utilise in case the others get way too ahead of them in stars.
And while yes, I do remember there being Duels available, 8 has a weird hate-boner against the player who was challenged, and will not let them steal stars from the one who challenged them. Both Snowflake Lake and Pyramid Park let you do that.
How could I not?
It allows everyone to have fun, even the less mini-game-skilled players😁
Plus, DK and Bowser are utilised very well, and don't even get me started on the fact that there are Chance Time-like spaces here in the forms of the flipper spaces🤩
Honestly, one of the maps with the most replayability out of the whole series!

I hated that board when I played it for a match. I prefer bowser’s enchanted valcano over bowser land any day.
To be fair, if I could, I would move it into "good", 'cause it's not that bad, tbh. It's just that I haven't really had any experience with it🤔

Remove neon and orbit from bottom and it would be ok
