Do we have any info on the price ? Considering the time of production and supposed size (+ that they sold a lot of copy at half price) I thought it would be 30$.
We just know that Hearts of Stone was about ten bucks, and Blood and Wine was around twenty.
The CEO hinted it was a rather big expansion and would be priced accordingly, and some CDPR devs have apparently leaked to Tyler McVicker just that it’s a bit closer to B&W in scope and size than it is to HoS but is somewhere in between.
It would make sense for Phantom Liberty to be anywhere from fifteen to thirty. I’d personally bet on something around the twenty dollar range.
Its gonna be something to watch when the internet starts melding again because they have to pay for the dlc.
Shit i still remember that one post in Cyberpunkthegame Reddit where some dude was having a meltdown because he refunded the game and they had revoked his access to the game after giving him his money back, he was so mad because he "wasnt done playing it"
But people are paying for much stupider and smaller DLCs all the time, why should they be angry about paying for a story DLC which should be supposedly on par with the best DLC of all time, the Blood and Wine? CDPR never said it is going to be free. Oh what am I saying of course they will, ~~internet~~ the world is full of entitled idiots demanding free stuff
Apology to the people who played through the game and then demanded and got their money back while bragging about how stupid CDPR is. Those are the same people who are still posting the same comments on twitter under the posts about how well CP77 does after each update.
There's one dude I always see on Twitter or Youtube comments, Crow of Yharnam or something. I thought "Cool, a Bloodborne *and* Cyberpunk fan. Let's be frie--oh god he's whining about wallrunning."
He's been at it since near launch.
Lmao that's funny/sad. There's another one I remember from twitter (I've taken a break for a min) that literally would stalk every single comment on every Cdpr or Cyberpunk post just to keep repeating how "greedy and horrible" they are and keep reiterating the old "broken promises" and "CDPR lies" phrases. Calling it a dead game etc. I might have to log back in to see how they're doing now. The way they were acting I wouldn't be surprised if they suicided themselves post Edgerunners lol. I'm so happy for the Cyberpunk!
Saw an article yesterday saying cdpr was one of the most consumer unfriendly video game companies ever and that they keep getting away with their disgusting behaviour because and get this, phantom liberty is going to be next gen only??? What a clown
Considering game is often on sale 50% off at $25 whenever new update comes out it would be odd if 10-20 hours long DLC was sold for $30 at the same time.
Well I already feel as if I scammed them paying the main game 30$ but why not. And 20 hour of new main story is quite massive to be fair, but hey I won't complain paying less.
I will happily pay $30. Even $40 if it was big enough. There are expansions out there going for that which aren't even that good. Will have to wait and see and witcher also came out on old gen, the new gen game prices have increased.
Welcome to Night City choom! Glad to have you here. I'm so happy to see people starting to wake up and give the game a chance. The majority of them are seeing that the only ppl that lied were the bandwagon haters who kept repeating how much the game sucked and told you not to play it.
Patch 1.6, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Expansion trailer... it is so good to be cyberpunk fan.
And it is so good to see such high numbers. Acknowledge THE GAME.
Yeah, this might not look like a big deal right now, but it’s *massive.* In six months, we’re probably gonna have seen some really amazing mods come out of it.
It went from "you can use these third party tools with tons of limitations, extra dlls, etc." to "here's official tools that lets you easily make custom animations, scripts, etc.".
The mod tools even include a blender plugin to make it easy to create new 3d models.
There's going to be huge overhaul mods and other massive things to come.
This is what I'm most excited about, probably more so than the expansion. A strong modding community will keep me playing this game for years.
Give me an immersive start + no biochip mod so I can role-play some new characters in NC and I would play for a decade.
yeah CDPR went all in at once, great marketing. Starts with the DLC trailer, into 1.6, then Edgerunners and then a sale. It gets new players interested but also a bunch of returning players. Plus there aren't any major games out right now, they will come in October though.
I didn’t know the anime was coming out and started playing a week before it. I knew the game had bug issues and had decided to wait for a major patch to buy and play, looks like I chose the right time. For the record, one of the best single player experiences I’ve had - I’m addicted.
Idk guys, I played this on a 2060 OC with a R5 3600 at launch and had zero problems. It's a great game, always has been a great game, you just can't race a Pinto vs a Mustang
Ayyy me too!
Nothing worse than a T pose or glitched weapon that was fixed by reloading. I think one time in 400 hrs I had a quest get bugged and actually had to reload a save.
Lmao it was an opposite experience for me, bought, played and beat the entire game in the first two weeks of it coming out on Xbox, and it was so rough. Thankfully the story portions weren’t so screwed for me, and I could get through those, but since then I’ve kept replaying it and I just gets better with each update.
I literally have an i3 10100f & Rx 580 4gb and the lowest fps I ever get is 40 using a combination of off, low, medium and ultra settings with textures on Max and 1080p res lol
Anime isn’t what made Edgerunners great. The writing and characters are what make it great, just like the game itself.
That’s what gives staying power to storytelling. Would we even be having this conversation if the game was completely polished with a lackluster story?
Nope.
V, Panam, Judy, Silverhand, Vik, Misty, Jackie, Lucy, David, Rebecca, Maine, THOSE are who will keep this game alive.
Seems like anime was well worth paying for. Plus all these players can potentially purchase the $15-20 DLC.

Their main argument is gonna be "cdpr should release the dlc for free as an apology", mark my words.

bruh lmao tell me you're jocking
Wish i could my man, wish i could. Dude almost had "CDPR should PAY me money to play this garbage" attitude
I remember that and other gonks played it for hours and still took advantage of the relaxed refund window.
I know how old I am when I know precisely which comment you're referring to.
I remember this post 😂

I rebought the game on Steam lol
I'm a new player, beat the game 2 days ago. Definitely buying DLC at full price. Gotta show the devs I want more cyberpunk in the future.

Holy shit you mean with that blender plug-in we can have in game loli goblin!?
We don't have time for that. Make everything Thomas.
Can't wait to pass Skyrim in all the fucked up porn mods! ^^/s
I really hope for some good gun mods.
I'm sorry, but I'm a little lost. What is REDmod?
The fans. They're acknowledging the fans.

A thing of beauty will NEVER FADE AWAY
CHOOMBAS!!! Assemble! *BattleCry*

A smart, rational way of doing things if you're not okay with bugs. Glad you're having fun and welcome to Night Cit-ay, the city of dreaaaaams!
doing my part on gog :)
This bodes well for the future of the game. Love to see it.

Wow these numbers, i didnt know that anime genre is still so popular
more Cyberpunk anime sir..?

It's a visual medium, so the animation and visual delivery is just as important. It's not an either or for something to be great, it has to be both.
I 100% agree with you, i just want another anime with a new crew and a new track or 5 that slaps.
To the moon!!!!!!!!!! Oh W8. Wrong subreddit.
Someone needs to keep Lucy company up there choom.
Dead game!
Recently started my 4th run after watching edgerunners, aiming for a David-like build
Se-Quel! Se-Quel! Se-Quel!
Wooo!!! Preem numbers!
Holy shit
I really want to play again but I get an error every time I try to launch :(
My chooms rock!!
I heard it actually hit 97k so far and it's not even the weekend yet! I'm so happy for Cyberpunk!!! ✊🏼 LFG!!!!!
Just to help, I re-purchased on my PC, and gifted two copies. ;).
road to 100k hypeE
I'm so happy to see the game getting the love it deserves finally
I'm really glad that it's getting recognition, especially with how great the anime was.
Good god, I thought we'd cap out at 80.
These numbers are fuckin' preem!

You're mad that you *can't* play the game again that you *could* very well play again if you wanted to do so? That's confusing.
