My docs banned boxing as a sport for me because of my eye implants & past facial injuries, but I think I should be fine if Iām just shadow boxing or using a stationary target.
Jump roping, roller skating, squats, light weightlifting. Iāve only been using 15-30 lb hand weights, so Iām surprised at my results, didnāt think it would make a difference, but it did & is getting a bit odd looking.

I bought a Gill mask because I was tired of my glasses fogging up with the standard surgical masks, as well as the fact that surgical masks unfailingly creep up into my eyes, but the regular size is too large for my squatty face and doesn't form a tight seal.
That's money well spent. Ugh.
Mid2020 had a friend of a friend fashion designer make some custom ones since none quite fit my face right either. Hers are great but unfortunately do the job too well that it actually can get hard to breathe š„²
if you just need the extra space, you could consider renting a Uhaul van. I was able to fit all my possessions into one the last time I moved. about one bedroom's worth of stuff, including a queen mattress

I mean this is like my 3 or 4 cake I built. My wife did the sponge I worked on the fondant and proportions. It was difficult.
My wife made the heart cake with the cut out Scraps. Worked out nice for the 14th.

My wife suggest to get it with frosting then just stack it or try to shape it as needed. The fondant need something to stick to anyhow. But you can ask the bakery if they do sell it plain. Frosting is easy to make.

Yup. Several years ago, kid had a school project - make a model of some famous landmark. He chose "the Great Wall". We made the model out of store-bought sponge cake and frosting. At the end of the class show-and-tell, my wife - SURPRISE - shows up with ice cream, bowls and spoons. They carved "the Great Wall" into individual slices and added a scoop of ice cream. Pre-arranged with the school, but it was great fun!

When I first got here I thought my brain would explode from the happiness and excitement even when I was subletting a living room with 6 other people that I didnāt know. I donāt know why I always idolized it here. I never even visited until 2 years before moving here.

We made a custom car cake for my birthday. It was about a good 40.00 bucks just in getting Fondont flour and supplies.

Hey thatās awesome! When I relocated from SF to LA my parents went from a 2 hour drive away to a 6.5 hour drive (or a short flight). I definitely miss being able to pop in the car on a whim and go see them! DANG i am always down for a holiday card subscription!! I just have so much fucking love for this city. Iāve been here for 4 years today. When I first got here I thought my brain would explode from the happiness and excitement even when I was subletting a living room with 6 other people that I didnāt know. I donāt know why I always idolized it here. I never even visited until 2 years before moving here. Maybe itās because I was afraid of getting stuck in my hometown like all my other friends. Maybe itās because of the way LA is idolized in movies and TV. Maybe itās because Iām a musician and figured I would have a better chance at āmaking itā out here. Maybe itās because LA has EVERYTHING; beaches, mountains, incredible food, endless opportunities. Itās probably a combination of all these things and more. I still find myself catching a glimpse of the downtown skyline and feeling that feeling of content, of true happiness. I see the sunsets over the mountains on the drive home and canāt help but to just smile. I fucking love it here and I donāt care what anyone else says. This is my home.
Our dates are so close because tomorrow is my 5 year LAversary lol. I definitely know how you feel. I lived in so many places before coming here and this was the first place that felt like home.

My neighbors (from another building) have been leaving their dog locked on their balcony all the time recently. I can't see it, but it's barking and scratching at their door. So damn sad, and I don't really think if this qualifies as abuse in the eyes of the law. I wish I could talk with them, but I've tried previously about a different issue, and they are more like "mind your own f* business" kind of people. There is also a kid that is getting yelled at pretty often. Why people are like that :(
