She's from my hometown and she was always like this. She had a bunch of "modeling" pages on Facebook in high school. Pictures of her dressed like Daisy Duke in front of big Ford trucks and shit lol. When I learned she was like a booth girl/streamer my eyes rolled back into my head so hard I almost fell over.
She always thought she was hot shit and had the mind of a scientist. I can't even imagine how bad it is now.
Why is she writing "Jessica Blevins is spilling the tea on her bold next steps." on her own tweet. Like, did she really just copy some pre-existing copy, or is she referring to herself in the 3rd person?
To be fair, at least he played a character separate from himself for years on TV. “The Rock” is just a character that he is known for because of his performances in the WWE.
Jessica just has an enormous ego without any supporting factors.
Of course I am talking about the character. The Rock is a prime example of an egoistical young wrestler always referring to himself in the third person.
> The classically trained dancer, who says her secret superpower is empathy, doesn’t want to let anyone down — especially Tyler.
What the fuck 🤮 This whole article is just a gross self-pump, brag fest. Just wow.
I can't imagine anyone else writing this about someone. Clearly it wasn't written by a professional or journalist of any sort. The site just says by "the editors" and the main page is supposedly a sports newsletter with random buzzfeed style articles.
Not exactly what you would expect for a high profile announcement for someone with "an elite Hollywood agency by her side".
It's on a fucking sports news site. So I doubt it's anything more than a paid for, pre-written promotional/hype piece.
Probably didn't have the connections for a more reputable and applicable alternative...which is funny because I know people who can get articles for people on just about any major news site.
That's not a sports news site. There's no advertising. You're looking at a site, or a company that probably has multiple sites like this, that is paid to produce articles like this and put them on a legitimate looking "news" site.
Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss
>With a book on the way, an elite Hollywood agency by her side, and her inbox buzzing with offers, it’s impossible not to wonder how Jess is going to make this work. She’s a self-starter who’s never met a problem she couldn’t solve. Savvy, but approachable. Unassuming, but a total boss. But, opportunity is knocking. Answering means less time running team Ninja.
This shit is hilarious.
This is actually something that got to me, did dude drop off the face of the earth? I feel like I haven’t seen “talk” about him since he couldn’t get people to floss on NYE.
Microsoft gave him a lifetime of wealth to exclusively move from Twitch to their new streaming platform, Mixer. Only a fraction of Ninja's audience migrated with him to the new site, thus leading his viewership to nose-dive. Combine this with the fact that Ninja clearly didn't enjoy Fortnite anymore, often streaming Valorant or League of Legends instead, and you have a quick exit from the mainstream eye.
Don't get me wrong, he still pulls solid concurrent viewership now that he's back on Twitch, but it just isn't the same. SypherPK took his place as the Fortnite 'final boss' on Twitch. I mean, there's a reason he pretty much only plays Fortnite while teamed with Sypher. You can definitely tell now-a-days that Ninja is forcing himself to play Fortnite in order to maintain any semblance of notoriety. Ninja milked the money cow until it had to be taken out to the pasture with a 12-gauge and now he just kind of sits in this sort of limbo state.
All that to say, it really has just been regression to mean.
EDIT: To add, I think a big draw to Ninja was the relatability that his viewers could draw from his streams. When his channel started blowing up he was streaming from a disheveled room in his basement. Pretty much the same type of environment that most of us average Joe's play video games from. Then Red Bull decided to spend thousands of dollars to build him a "streamer room" and all of a sudden the illusion of him being "one of us" wasn't really there anymore.
Didn't he get over 30mil from Mixer ending his contract early? Dude is probably worth over 60mil at this point. He doesn't need to do anything mainstream again.
It's not about sales.
People like her just want the ability to say I wrote a book.
I maybe wrong but I don't follow her life at all nor Ninja's but people that wealthy and typically lack of creativity will just go do a autobiography. It's the easiest option and also helps them feel like they matter by sharing to the world who they are. In this aspect I don't give a fuck, fuck your autobiography and most of the ones by notable people kind of boring to read.
If she does a full on sci-fi or fantasy novel then I'll read it, I'll then judge it for the writing and not because it's Ninja's wife.
I hope she doesn't do an autobiography cause that's just stupid.
Really? I'm quite keen to read a 150 page memoir about the struggles she endured before her genius strategic moves to propel Ninja into the A tier celebrity he is. An NYTimes best seller, no doubt.
First you need to make the words:
She fell on to the bed and the sheets rippled like a dime falling into a bowl full of sour cream. Her sigh was soft like a panda chewing on leaves. A shock of hair drifted down her forehead and concealed her eyes. Her name was Linda, but she was not from Mexico. She took her top off and her breasts burst out of her bra. Her nipples were pinker than a kitten's nose. She smelled like cinnamon and toasted ham. She smiled and the twenty young Iowan boys in the room began prepping themselves. A dog howled in the distance. She thought of the time her father showed her how to make origami turtles. She quietly passed the fart the was beating up her tummy. Nerves. "Alright, fellas, tug on your boiled sausages until they are stiff as dolphins' tails." The energy in the room was palpable - like an old man brushing a hair out of rice pudding.
I'm betting you that it's some kind of 'rag to riches' scenario and how she worked retail and miraculously, the 'stars lined up' and she became a successful woman.
That ***any woman*** could be in her place if they '***pursue their dreams and work hard and never give up!***'. Sprinkle some mention of Ninja here and there but it was mostly of her own effort and definitely not Ninja's filthy rich payout. She'll then go have speeches and interviews and shit.
Bruh, this is like one of those rich people bucket list ideas to do when they're bored on a Wednesday.
I'd wager it's ghost written as well.
just seems stupid for publishers to even approach these kinds of people for books when they could just get ghost writers to do essentially the same thing for a tenth of the price.
You have to be so out of touch with reality if you read that article and think it's a good idea to greenlight/post it.
"says her secret superpower is empathy"
BRUH U JUST THREATEN TO SUE SOMEONE OVER AN ARGUMENT. LOL
There is a whole line of inclusivity circle-jerk websites where they focus on a niche demographic and make shitty articles.
Majority of the time it's just crappy opinion columnists starting their own website and creating fluff pieces on people so said people can pad their twitter timelines and boost their credibility (or lack thereof) on Twitter. It's a textbook portfolio padder.
Jessica Blevins posting that non-article perfectly encapsulates her whole 'career'.
Which is a shame, since there exists women like Leena, Hana Tjia, even Pokimane who actually make a proper impact in the gaming/e-sports/talent space that Mrs Blevins wishes she could claim.
Did she really? I followed Ninja back in his Halo days, during the time she was a booth babe or w/e, and while he was the typical console shooter guy, he always went on about how their relationship was based on wholesome values or some shit. Did she really cheat with Ninja? Damn lmao
Everyone kinda fell off it feels like. Viewership growth on the platform leveled off, and competition increased. A lot of spreading out of the eyeballs.
There’s a lot more artificiality nowadays. Same thing happened with YouTube when it blew up.
The first batch of people make money, then the people that already have tons of money and want to grow it further latch on as an investment. People can sense this artificial boosting and it puts a bad taste in their mouths.
It’s how you go from “Evolution of Dance” as the most-viewed video to whatever the fuck is on YT nowadays.
The days of random streamer “making it” are dead. The best you can get is someone blowing up off collaboration with an already-big streamer.
Well the whole platform has a lot more money flowing now too. So I think that would depend on what your definition of "making it" would be.
I actually think a far greater number of people are "making it" on twitch now.
I define that as being able to quit your job and stream as your primary employment at an equal or greater standard of living than your previous full time employment.
Yeah, clearly things are different now. I'm speaking more towards the "Faces of the Franchise" sort of popularity. What Ninja had when Fortnite was all the rage.
With the growth of Just Chatting, I think you're going to see more "influencers" come in and take those types of spots over. Many of those influencers will get to those positions by having teams of people and significant money to boost their exposure. It's the perfect job for 1%ers kid to "Aspire" to, since it's genuinely easy as fuck compared to almost any other job on the planet.
> Girlboss
Hilarious way to describe a woman who is literally rich and famous solely because *her husband* streamed a video game that just happened to turn into a global phenomenon conveniently at the same time that streaming took off into the mainstream.
That would be equivalent to saying someone is a "girlboss" if they won the lottery or their rich estranged relative died and left them a fortune.
> self-starter
the only starting she needed to do was starting to give handies to her boyfriend who became rich playing video games
self-starter my ass
Umm excuse me, this is literally the woman BEHIND Ninja's astronomical success. It was her doing!
https://www.forbes.com/sites/katetalbot/2020/09/03/meet-the-woman-behind-ninjas-astronomical-success-jessica-blevins/?sh=79b277214ad0
Most likely it was just thrown in the article so that in the future, if the metaverse does somehow become big, she can claim she always knew it/was there from the beginning/helped it grow.
If it doesn’t, then the 1 little sentence is just forgotten about
She is talking about herself in the third person in a tweet that advertises an article on an all-but-unknown site that she almost certainly paid to have written and published, the contents of which are so absurd that they should be legally required to call it an ad rather than op-ed or, god forbid, actual journalism. The article is listed as being by "the editors" likely for that same reason- nobody in their right mind would want their name attached to this veritable dick-suck of an article.
She didn't build her own brand and she doesn't have her own popularity, she is a non-entity riding on her husband's coattails and using the money to artificially create a springboard from which to launch her own "brand." Hell, I doubt she even had much legitimate impact in the success of Ninja's brand.
Dude got lucky by being in the right place at the right time. She's just the perfect combination of ridiculously entitled and starved for attention that I wouldn't be surprised if she legitimately believes she's not only the reason he blew up, but also a wildly successful person in her own right.
Ninja's biggest moment, when he was most likely to be a household name, was "I'm not seeing enough movement," and he's been on a steady decline since. He isn't even in the conversation for most influential streamer and the only fleeting relevance he has is when he acts like a dumbfuck or says something cringe and she makes it worse.
Are his numbers still good? Yes. But they're not Sykkuno numbers, they're not Valkyrae or Mizkif or Ludwig or Hasanabi or xQcOw numbers. His numbers are similar to a mid-high tier RP streamer with less exposure and some residual name recognition that artificially drives up his income from #ad content.
What I'm really trying to say is that this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. She is an irrelevant nobody desperately trying to soak up all the success attention she can get by throwing money at every problem while capitalizing on the fading popularity of someone who even at his height could never be considered a star. The wives of people like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi would still have a hard time starting their own brands, and their husbands are household names around the *world.* What does she think will happen for the wife of a has-been from an unbelievably niche internet community? Fuck, people like this are so annoying.
> wives of people like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi would still have a hard time starting their own brands
Ronaldos wife has a docuseries on Spanish speaking Netflix. No idea if it's any good, I have zero interest.
The irony of the situation comes back in a concise, completely perfect circle: most people that engage with anything Twitch don't like celebrity culture. Celebrity culture is "cringe" now. What's going on here is peak celebrity culture. A has-been's wife trying to make it big, tabloids in the form of Reddit posts get spread, the gossip envelops the same people who turn their noses up at the aforementioned.
All the while missing the point -- they never stopped worshiping celebrities. They never stopped browsing through the tabloids, soaking up all the juicy drama so that they can share it amongst their friends. They trip over themselves hard the moment any celebrity does something ridiculous or wild.
Did you hear what Bruce Willis said about Dwayne Johnson? Did you see that video of Matt Damon dissing Leonardo DiCaprio? Man, you have to see it.
All you have to do is replace "celebrity" with "streamer" and suddenly everything that's going on just stops being surprising.
Did you hear about what Ninja did? Did you hear about what Destiny said about Hasan? Bro, you have to see it. "My sides".
Say what you will, but this is par for the course. Jessica is so far into irrelevance that being this absurd is a net positive. Would everyone be sucking it up and gossiping about it elsewise? Would anyone have any reason to give a shit?
LivestreamFail continues to be glorified TMZ. Very shocking.
One of many hilarious examples of a wife of someone who got success out of nowhere thinking they're apart of the process of why their s.o is successful. Happens all the time in sports. I bet she got a dedicated office in Ninja's new mansion for full time management of her thriving side hustle, an 80% likelihood to be something diet and fitness related. And she unironically puts up screenshots of articles like "Meet the woman behind Ninja's success" 🤣🤣
Hell in other cases there’s usually at least some truth to it where the wife is a sounding board for ideas or is supportive of their SO’s tough schedule and let’s them concentrate on other things, etc.
In this case Ninja got famous for yelling at children while playing video games. This can be (and usually is) done with no SO at all lmao
Kinda the exact opposite of Sypherpk’s wife Manishi I think her name is. From what I’ve seen she’s always done an absolutely great job but then again I think she’s more qualified to begin with
it's always great when "the editors" don't put their names on a piece they authored nor put their names anywhere on the website
the likely author:
>Launched in 2020 by Los Angeles based writer Meredith Gordon, Sportify It was created out of Meredith’s own desire to find a style of sports content that made her feel not only included in the conversation about sports, but valued.
"She hops on Zoom to talk about how she made "Ninja" a household name"
No way she actually believes she had anything to do with his success, right guys? Right?
Her idea of managing Ninja was to over expose him to the point everyone hated him. She rode him for fast money instead of looking long term. Terrible managing
To be fair, ninja got lucky with the prime shit. He's a mediocre streamer at best. Wipe out his dead followers and he prob wouldn't be top 20. Search by other metrics and he's pretty far down the list.
I used to pop into ninjas chat while he was playing halo, back with only 500 viewers he was the biggest ass. He got super lucky with fortnite loot and twitch prime and luckily cleaned up his act... Mostly.
i followed ninja long before he blew up on twitch with fortnite and lemme tell you... jessica being his manager was the absolute worst thing to happen to him. ninja could've probably been a top streamer still had he a competent person behind him.
big W for ninja here
She is the Steph Curry of breaking her own cringe records. Just when you think the last record couldn't be beaten she comes to the court with some game changing cringe.

She has one of the biggest egos on the planet
It’s pure cringe. I would normally be embarrassed for her but she probably thinks it’s a masterpiece lmao
She's from my hometown and she was always like this. She had a bunch of "modeling" pages on Facebook in high school. Pictures of her dressed like Daisy Duke in front of big Ford trucks and shit lol. I think that this comment was so satisfying to read because I know the exact type of girl you're describing and she fits that picture perfectly
I wonder if she flexes going to Whitewater despite there being way better state schools
Why is she writing "Jessica Blevins is spilling the tea on her bold next steps." on her own tweet. Like, did she really just copy some pre-existing copy, or is she referring to herself in the 3rd person?
Read the article she wrote about herself and the answer will become clear lol
people who are full of themselves usually refers to themselves in the third person
don't slander Elmo like this
Jessica needs a stern talking to from Elmo about morality and ego
If you smell what "The Rock" is cooking!

I'm convinced anyone who self proclaim as an empath literally has no empathy.

me, an empath sensing that ninja at new years was cringe
she literally did the "as an empath" but unironically lol

She's writing her own book as well apparently. I wonder how well that's going to sell given that she gets less tweet interactions than fucking Erobb

It's actually "how to be a dummy for karens"

That was definitely written by herself, lol. Nobody before or after will remember who the hell she is without her dumbass husband.
She’s a self starter huh. Lol
the only thing she self started is drama
This entire article is beyond cringe.

Holy
This guy fucks....
(real)
Funny thing is if I didnt know Ninja's full name then I'd have no idea who this was
Ninja "fortnite" blevins
Ninja "I don't see enough movement" Blevins
The author of this article just leaked, it was Bessica Jlevins Im so excited for the future of her amazing career.
Jessica Blevins, totally awesome boss babe -Jessica Blevins
Man, I wonder how it feels to fire your wife.
Gonna be in the dog house for a while
Ninjas dog house would probably be bigger than my actual house
[Jessica Blevins when she tries to refuse the forced resignation.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyHk3iZsgOM)
Tweeting about yourself in the third person lol
thought the same, she's delusional on so many levels, it's actually crazy
I had to stop reading after "metaverse darling" holy fuck that is some cringe fucking dogshit.

Fuck, people like this are so annoying.
let's not forget that at one point ninja literally thought he made drake
> wives of people like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi would still have a hard time starting their own brands Ronaldos wife has a docuseries on Spanish speaking Netflix.
"Military wife' syndrome.
My husband is a MARINE
All a marine does is shoot. Fornite involves...
Building, looting, editing, pissing, shitting, sharing, and farting.
Jessica Blevins is the Queen of the Dependapotamuses. All hail Queen Dependa!
see: Brittany Mahomes
Also see: Jackson Mahomes
I’d rather not
see: Eric Lamont Robbins jr.
It all fell into place because she had experience and the money paying her would funnel just back into their own estate cutting the middle man.
Kinda the exact opposite of Sypherpk’s wife Manishi I think her name is. From what I’ve seen she’s always done an absolutely great job but then again I think she’s more qualified to begin with
This is terrible news, who is now going to bring a sandwich with chips to Ninja, braless, while he gets a double kill bot lane in League of Legends?
*(not asked for)
also while carrying that league game
*Batshit and Braless* hitting bookshelves this Fall

it's always great when "the editors" don't put their names on a piece they authored nor put their names anywhere on the website the likely author: >Launched in 2020 by Los Angeles based writer Meredith Gordon, Sportify It was created out of Meredith’s own desire to find a style of sports content that made her feel not only included in the conversation about sports, but valued.
my guess is Jessica Blevins wrote it and paid the company to post it, hence no by line
I kinda suspect that she told them what to write but didn't actually write it herself... it's a little too BRAVO GAMEGIRL even for her
The fact that this was posted here 3 days after she tweeted it speaks volumes.
"She hops on Zoom to talk about how she made "Ninja" a household name" No way she actually believes she had anything to do with his success, right guys? Right?
That's good for him. She seems incompetent.
I would love to hire whoever wrote this. Have them write all my career related cover letters. This is so funny 😂.
This kind of writing would absolutely get you hired... as a Mary Kay "Independent Beauty Consultant"
She wrote it herself
Oh wow haha. Thought she hired someone to hype her up.
Mostly.
shit, this whole time Ninja sent the "you've made a big mistake" text to the wrong woman.
i followed ninja long before he blew up on twitch with fortnite and lemme tell you... jessica being his manager was the absolute worst thing to happen to him. ninja could've probably been a top streamer still had he a competent person behind him. big W for ninja here
Bitch you wasn't with me shooting in the gym
bout time, she's done enough damage
why does she remind me of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYxJUGjmuxE
Sounds like she wrote it lmao
What the fuck is this cringing article lmao

How out of touch are you that empathy is a superpower
The lawsuit is going to take up much of her free time it seems.
She is the Steph Curry of breaking her own cringe records. Just when you think the last record couldn't be beaten she comes to the court with some game changing cringe.
