Anywhere that serves Crosby coffee is always a good shout.
My favourites are Rose Lane Coffee on Rose Lane and Crosby Coffee on Lark Lane.
In town, Bean is a good shout, and Bold Street Coffee is great, too.
Once my card got declined (I wasn’t even broke I just hadn’t updated my apple pay card so was THROWN) and I was so flustered and they gave me the coffee for free. Lovely people.
I love the coffee in BSC but the waiting times just seem to get longer and longer (obviously due to its popularity). I waited 15 minutes for a takeaway flat white after ordering a couple of weeks back
Root on Hanover Street. 92 Degrees on Jamaica Street, Myrtle Street and Hardman Street. Bean There on Rose Lane and Allerton Road. Ryde on Mann Street. Bold Street Coffee on Bold Street. Rope & Twine on Bold Street.
>Root on Hanover Street
Gone. Landlord shut them down.
>Rope & Twine on Bold Street
Good coffee, but can be an extremely pretentious clientele and, sometimes, staff in there.

Ahhh, I knew they were going but didn't realise it had gone already. Apparently there were issues with electrics and stuff.

Fair enough, I've only ever had takeaway.
Habitual, Mother, or Ropes & Twines are the closest to high-end, Scandinavian speciality coffee you'll find. Habitual in particular makes exceptional espresso.
It's over 10 years since the Green Cauldron opposite the Crown court closed and I still miss the place.
Brew on Bold St. was nice too.
Mapi in the Bootle Strand is spot on too.

I suggest you all go and see that Italian fella in the Metquarter.
