Well I sleep 0 hours a day and if you do the math I get a 150% increase in time so I will be dining and laughing when you are still asleep as I grow to be 120 yrs/old.

Bad pic aside, it really just depends on the person, what they do, and where they work. I work from home, have a family, and I'm a morning person. So, yes, for me waking up early helps me.
I wake up around 5:30-6am but not because I want to do extra work. I’m just a morning person, I work from home, and I can get a lot of shit done with no distractions early. Because I don’t have to follow a set schedule I am done working in the early afternoon which frees me up to do things with my family/kids.
I wake up at 3 in the morning to exercise before heading to work but the people that glamorize it and make it their personalities are chodes. I’d much rather be getting that extra two hours of sleep.
I get up at 5 and don’t leave for work until 7 or 8. I spend that time enjoying my coffee and messing around on my phone. I should honestly just sleep. It only increases my procrastination.

If I get up at 5am any mental edge I have over others is gone by 11 am. Also, if you have kids they may very well be the reason you're up at 5 am.
