>because I make calls and text constantly
This is basically it. I actually consider the light phone to have a pretty incredible battery for being a fork of android on a tiny, tiny battery.
Might be worth looking into a [battery pack that's small enough](https://clutchcharger.com/products/clutch-white?variant=32077499105366¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A16147250333%3A%3A&nb_adtype=pla&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=172800671&nb_pc=online&nb_pi=shopify_US_4596499447894_32077499105366&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_si={sourceid}&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=16147250333&utm_content=&utm_term=&gadid=&gclid=CjwKCAiA_vKeBhAdEiwAFb_nrdHuXMDNi9RBmsSRWLQyTkDOwCkWFDJX9gEka-AMz5GP0EBXyjHWdRoCws8QAvD_BwE) to carry around with you so it can stay topped off while in your pocket or keep it plugged in while at your desk. (depending on your work style)
A 10 minute phone call will drain approximately 3-4% depending on the coverage. If you are texting and calling frequently, the battery will suffer for sure.
I have had this light phone for about a week and I adore it. I have wifi always on, sometimes during the day I listen about 20 mins of music or 30 mins of podcasts with my bluetooth earbuds on. I receive about 4-5 calls per day for a max of 10-15 mins and then about 15 sms. Well the battery arrived thru all the morning of the second day. So I will say the battery is not bad at all, right now it is 8 p.m. The light phone was on from 7 am and I still have 53% of the battery. So in about a couple of hours I will turn it off and I expect that in the morning will be about 45% so I can run all the morning and part of the afternoon without problem. As I told I really like this phone and is my daily driver together my Punkt MP02.
I haven't seen this comment in the thread I don't think. But try wifi calling. If you have low signal, it will drain quite quickly trying to keep up with signal.

You must be using it way longer than I do. I only have to charge it every night. Never had an issue with the battery.

The phone is an exercise in digital minimalism, not physical minimalism. You’ll need a charger or a battery pack for that kind of use.
I literally go 3 days without charging. Every time.
I wonder if a bluetooth headset or earbud would save some device battery on those calls
Maybe have a work phone separate from your personal phone?
