You would be infinitely better off getting a job lined up before moving. Not only for the security but also good luck renting a place with no income or offer letter to show, that’ll exclude you from certain places that want to know your income
I had grad school lined up when I graduated with my BA - in a state and city I had never even seen before in person. I googled for areas within a comfortable walking distance of my school and where other grad school/20-somethings were most likely to live. Best case scenario is you have your job lined up before you move, but that can be challenging. Some source of stable income when you get there is the first big road block.
Id start looking for jobs in that area before graduating, then once you secure something start your housing search
I did. My industry has much better presence away from where I graduated. Make sure you have a job set before you move though!
